What are the best Street Fighter 6 Kimberly combos?

The latest heir of the Bushin-Ryu school of ninjutsu, Kimberly has moves that resemble those carried by the likes of Guy and Zeku.

Kimberly is a mixup-based rushdown character with great mobility and a fast-paced approach to the battle.

Since she was playable during the Beta version of SF6, players from all over the world have already explored some of her coolest combos, and we’re thankful for that.

10. OTG

Start at: 1:41

One of Kimberly’s most dangerous moves is her command dash, which is a mixup starter like no other, especially in a game like Street Fighter 6.

For this combo, Kimberly uses her OD command dash into the command grab, and OTG’s with the command dash launcher, so he can finish off with the Bushin Tatsu.

When to use this combo: Catching your opponent trying to anticipate your overhead.

9. Spray Can

Start at: 1:01

Using the spray can is one of Kimberly’s many unorthodox tricks and she can create annoyingly good setups with them.

For this combo in the corner, Kim shoots her can before going a full juggle combo whilst spending only 2 Drive Bars.

When to use this combo: Okizeme setup.

8. Drive Impact

Start at: 2:58

This is yet another low-cost combo, as Kimberly delivers a stunning juggle using her already infamous command dash for great oki.

This is converted from a landed Drive Impact and opens the way for Kimberly to start her set of mixups and setups in the corner

When to use this combo: Off of Drive Impact in the corner.

7. Stun!

Start at: 4:03

This happened during a match between Broski and Hurricane, so you can tell this will work even at a high level.

Upon acknowledging his opponent is backed against the corner and in Burnout mode, Broski initiates a stun sequence and spends all his Drive Gauge in order to kill his opponent, Kimberly style.

When to use this combo: Against a cornered burnout opponent.

6. All-In

Start at: 4:58

This is a punish counter combo if you’re willing to spend all your resources.

The combo is not all that complicated and the damage is ridiculous, but as it is expensive, you should only use this combo if you’re sure it will kill.

When to use this combo: As a killing punish counter with full resources.

5. Guard Crush

Start at: 3:30

If your opponent has their back against the corner you catch them blocking with Drive Impact, you will get a Guard Crush and a subsequent free combo.

This easy string into the launcher ending with the OD air tatsu is a fundamental bread-and-butter combo that all Kimberly players will need to know.

When to use this combo: Off of guard crush.

4. Overhead

Start at: 0:26

Any normal move can be cancelled out of Drive Rush and this includes Kimberly’s overhead.

With the added hit stun from the Drive Rush cancel, Kimberly can then convert her overhead into a full high-damage combo, greatly expanding the threat of her mixups.

When to use this combo: As a mixup during pressure.

3. Punish Time

Start at: 0:00

Few characters in Street Fighter games through the years have been able to take the opponent from one side of the screen to the other, but when they can, it is not short of impressive.

Kimberly can indeed make the opponent travel coast to coast, as shown in the video above, while at the cost of a lot of meter and 2 Drive Rushes.

When to use this combo: To take the opponent to the opposing corner.

2. Dirty Cross-Up

Start at: 1:07

As if overheads and command grabs weren’t enough, this combo shows just how schmixed Kimberly can really get you.

After an OD air tatsu, Kimberly crosses up the opponent while he’s standing back up, before converting into a full combo. This combo ends in a reset, forcing a hard read if the opponent wishes to survive the following mixup.

When to use this combo: As a powerful oki option for a reset follow-up.

1. Highest Style

Start at: 0:00

This combo is basically all the previous combos together to result in ultimate annihilation.

Kimberly sets up her spray can, then juggles the opponent into a Drive Rush crouch fierce cancelled to command dash launcher, and she keeps the opponent juggled forever using a total of 4 Drive Rushes before finishing it off with the Critical Art for over 80% damage.

When to use this combo: For a styling, high-damage finish.

Kimberly is already considered one of the strongest characters in Street Fighter 6, and she should maintain this status when the game releases.

Her setups are crazy, are mixups are fast-paced and her resets force defensive hard reads, and she can capitalize on any hit, from a high/low, to an overhead, cross-up, or even command grabs.

Kimberly will surely become a fan favorite and a successful new addition to the roster.
