Two Point Hospital is a management tycoon game where you treat patients, manage finances, and hire competent staff to become the most efficient hospital. However, there are cases where hiring a highly-skilled doctor may be too expensive, especially at the start of the game.

At some point when you are doing the campaign, you will be taught how to do training for your staff so they can be better, and this will open up an aspect in Two Point Hospital that will help you create the best staff from scratch without having to overpay as you hire them.

5. Bedside Manner Training

Happiness is one of the needs of both staff and patients. Unhappy patients tend to go home and never come back without getting treated, while happy patients tend to stay longer, thereby having a higher chance of getting treated successfully.

Bedside Manner Training is a great way for your staff to make your patients happy while getting diagnosed, so staff members that focus on diagnosis will be able to fully use this skill once they earn this after the training.

Why Bedside Manner Training Is Great:

• Makes your patients happy; hence, they can tolerate more time before going home.
• Nurses that are assigned to wards that handle many patients at once usually have a great advantage using this qualification.
• You can train once as it is a single-level qualification, and you can train other staff if you do not want to spend the guest trainer cost.

Choose Bedside Manner training for nurses working on wards or doctors working in diagnosis rooms because it will help them keep patients from becoming frustrated and leaving if they are bored or have been waiting in line for a long time.

4. Research Training

Research Training may sound bad due to the fact that doctors that get the research skill after this training do not really do anything in terms of treatment and diagnosis, but they are actually one of the more expensive qualifications, and you may end up spending more money just to hire someone with this skill on their resume.

Honestly, Research I already suffices if you are not pressed for time, but a higher level may work well if you want to complete the research faster.

Why Research Training Is Great:

• Getting trained in research will open up new ways for you to treat patients. Some missions emphasize researching the cure.
• Upgrades for rooms also come from research, and upgraded rooms can significantly increase treatment and diagnosis power.
• You can also use research to get Kudosh or Cash if needed.

Choose Research Training if you have locked treatment rooms or need to research new training for your staff. It is highly recommended to upgrade to Research II, then combine it with Personal Development training such as Motivation and Stamina Training, so they can research without resting.

• Stat: Allows a doctor to work in Research (1st level); +50% on next level until Research V.
• Required Training Unit: 240 (1st level). +60 from base (240) for every level.

3. Radiology Training

Some of the rooms in Two Point Hospital can only be used if you have the required qualifications such as the Radiology skill, which leads to being able to use the M.E.G.A Scanner, which is a powerful diagnosis machine. Hence, someone with this qualification has a higher salary right from the get-go, which is why it is better to do Radiology training for junior doctors to get this, so they can become specialist doctors.

Why Radiology Training Is Great:

• It enables doctors to use M.E.G.A Scanners, which are useful in later levels because they can aid in the diagnosis of patients.
• Increases X-ray Diagnostic skill by 20%, which is another important diagnosis.
• A solo qualification means staff has four other staff to fill to improve their skills.

Choose Radiology Training once you have access to the M.E.G.A Scanner Room. It is one of the busiest diagnosis rooms as it takes time, and sometimes, doctors are hard to come by if you do not micromanage them to do one task in the hospital. Train at least four staff members, then assign two of them to handle the M.E.G.A Scanner so it will not be vacated when one of them rests in the break room.

2. Surgery Training

There will be a time when you have to build a surgery room to cure patients, and it is one of the treatments that has a high rate of unsuccessful cures. Surgery Training will be able to let doctors with this skill to do surgery.

However, regardless of whether the surgery is successful or not, each operation actually pays a lot, and with a few surgeries here and there, your hospital will increase in value in no time.

Why Surgery Training Is Great:

• Doctors with this qualification can bring you a lot of money for every treatment done in the surgery room.
• +20% for each increase in qualification. We highly recommend getting up to Surgery IV if you can for one of your doctors.
• Hiring surgeons instead of training them can be really expensive. Hence, training junior doctors to be surgeons will prove to be useful, especially if you are saving money.

Choose Surgery Training if you need people to run the surgery room once you have it. Surgery is one of the treatments that can drive down your cure rate, which might be important at later levels. Thus, it is best to train up to Surgery IV to create a true specialist in the field.

1. General Practice Training

General Practice may not look so important at the start of the game, but you will soon realize that it is one of the most important ones as waves of patients create long queues in your GP’s Offices.

Training your doctors in the General Practice specialty can significantly increase the efficiency of your hospital.

Why General Practice Training Is Great:

• General Practice is one of the most important qualifications in the game as patients have to go through the GP’s office to get the right treatment for them.
• Training junior doctors in General Practice is better than hiring someone with mixed qualifications, and each level increases the GP’s diagnosis power by 15%.
• A doctor with a high enough level of this skill can sometimes diagnose a patient once before sending him to treatment immediately.

Choose General Practice Training as more illnesses are found, and your GP’s office gets crowded because of patients going back to the queue for a re-assessment. Training for a higher level of General Practice and reaching at least General Practice III, will be more helpful than opening up a new GP’s office to reduce the queue significantly.
