Ah, the French the faction that you forget was in WW2 because quickly they lost their line. I mean they didn’t expect to be backstabbed by Belgium so it’s reasonable but let’s not forget that the French are much better than the British and they were fierce warriors in WW1. But we’re not here to talk about their past oh no, we are here to talk about their aircraft. 

When it comes to their planes they have a huge variety of them, some are better while others are worse. But that’s why today I’ll be listing the best 2 French aircraft by tier. Each tier will have two aircraft so that way you don’t read a novel accidentally. 

Tier 1

The best plane: D.371 H.S.9 

I feel like I’m writing the codes for the nuclear launch pad instead of the name of an aircraft. This is a fighter airplane specifically meant for hunting down the big guys in the sky. This aircraft is light as paper but it does carry a lot of firepowers. But if a bird were to accidentally hit a wing the whole airplane would go down. Thankfully that’s not a mechanic in this vidya game.

The second best plane: F.222.2 

Even though this plane is just numbers all around it’s much better named that the British ones. If you read my article about them you’d know. When it comes to this aircraft it’s a heavy bomber meant for specifically destroying ground objectives. If you try to dog fight someone with this aircraft you will lose 10 out of 10 times.

Tier 2

The best plane: LeO 451 late 

This heavy bomber was introduced late in the war and it brought terror to the Axis powers. It has a battle rating of 3.0 and the speed of an eagle. It’s also plated with reinforced steel all around the cockpit while the other parts of the plane aren’t that protected. Pray to God they don’t hit your explosives or your fuel tank.

The second best plane: V.G.33C-1 

Another nuclear launch code if anyone was wondering. This aircraft is a fighter aircraft that’s meant for dogs fighting in the sky and protecting their bomber aircraft. If you don’t like doing that well maybe this aircraft isn’t for you. The aircraft carries 5 weapons it’s quite heavy for a fighter aircraft.

Tier 3

The best plane: SB2C-5

This aircraft is a dive bomber that has a battle rating of 3.7. What you’re meant to do is go high up in the air and then nose dive into the ground and when you’re close pull up into the sky and drop your bomb. It’s more fun than it seems.

The second best plane: NC.900

The French do have a lot of fighter aircraft that are simply great to fly around. The controls in this aircraft feel responsive and the turning speed ain’t that bad itself. This aircraft has the highest rating in its respective tier and you should use it.

Tier 4

The best plane: PB4Y-2 (France)

This is a flying fortress in the sky. The gunner seats are coated with bulletproof glass so your soldiers won’t get shot and taken down so easily. The other parts of the airplane are covered in reinforced steel. Taking this guy down from the sky is going to take a lot of firepower.

The second best plane: F8F-1B

The naval fighter that’s more seen in land battles than on the vast open sea. But it is a game after all. The battle rating is 6.7 and the speed is 708 km/h. The only downside to the aircraft is that it runs out of ammo quickly so you’ll have to return to your HQ a lot.

Tier 5

The best plane: F-84F

The striker aircraft has a ventilation shaft in its nose so it can cool down. Because let’s be real you can’t drive a beast if it doesn’t have a big nose for a ventilation shaft. So that way you don’t overheat in the middle of your dog fight.

The second best plane: S.O.4050 Vautour IIA

Let’s move to the future a bit and talk about their newer aircraft. The higher the tiers the newer the aircraft will be. This is a jet bomber that specializes in going high speed and dropping its bombs at the objectives. Your main point is to fly between the enemy lines and destroy the objective as fast as possible.

Tier 6

The best plane: Super Mystere B2

The first of its class a jet fighter. We had a jet striker but this right here is even more fierce. You won’t be destroying objectives with this jet but what you’ll be able to do is hunt down the other players with the speed of the great Sonic.

The second best plane: Jaguar A

The better version of the previous striker aircraft and it’s named after the jaguar animal. That’s because you’ll be hitting and taking down your opponents with swiftness and precision. It reaches speeds of 1.490 km/h and you can choose between two presets for the aircraft. It also carries countermeasures against other aircraft so you don’t go down so easily.

Tier 7

The best plane: F-8E(FN) (France)

This jet has a battle rating of 10.0. That’s pretty damn high. Even though its battle rating is 10.0 it has the speed of an 11.0 aircraft. The max speed it can reach is 2.110 km/h. The aircraft is also equipped with 4 x 20 mm Browning-Colt Mk12 Mod 3 cannons.

The second best plane: Mirage F1CT

This aircraft evolved from the Jaguar A and is its younger cousin. If you used the Jaguar A you already know that this one will be even better. It’s a much-improved version of that aircraft and the controls are even more responsive. The turning speed is fast and can send your guy into a coma in a few seconds.
