Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt has released its latest update and included a detailed explanation of all changes in the patch notes.
There have been a variety of changes, as well as the addition of new content. A major change that has been made is that Duos mode has been added by popular request. Duos are temporarily replacing Trios to maintain low matchmaking times, however, Trios will be back soon.
Another welcome change that has been made is that the player that downs an enemy player will now receive the credit for that kill, regardless of who finishes the downed player.
Also, players will be awarded an assist for dealing a certain amount of damage to a player who is downed by another player, and for finishing players that someone else downed.
Bloodhunt is also trying to make it easier for new players to get into the game through the addition of a series of onboarding sessions where new players play against other new players and bots. There is also a tutorial, which has been made skippable by popular demand.
Among the plethora of performance improvements and fixes that were added are XP callouts (pings) for when a player downs someone, eliminates someone, or diablerizes, someone.
Bloodhunt has also increased the HP after a rez from 50 to 75 to increase players’ chances of escaping after being revived.
6 new quests have been added to the game:
- Welcome to Elysium
- The Wrong Hands
- Track Record
- Missing Agent
- Ashes to Ashes
- A Spy in Prague
Quests can be obtained from NPC’s in the game.
These are only a few of the main changes made with this latest update.
A detailed breakdown of all the fixes, alterations and new additions can be found in the patch notes.
