The story of the ‘Countess in Crimson’ is set in the Carpathian Mountains. Josh and Ashley, a young couple, find themselves stranded in the mountains, but manage to find their way to a small village filled with people that lean towards the darker side of life.
The dark castle towering over their village, home to the ‘Countess,’ doesn’t exactly help to lighten the mood. You will follow the story of Josh and Ashley as they navigate the ways of life in the village, and learn all about the ‘Countess in Crimson’ and her evil ways.
The game is developed with themes of gothic horror. The story has multiple paths and endings, each depending on the choices you make as a player and the relationships you choose to pursue and develop.
The locations are interactive, and you can also unlock a variety of Steam achievements and in-game rewards by completing certain tasks and challenges.
