‘Garage: Bad Dream Adventure,’ is a mystery-solving exploration adventure game.
The game was initially developed in 1999 for PC and has been completely remastered to meet modern standards and take players on an edge-of-the-seat adventure.
‘Garage’ is a psychotherapeutic machine that can take people into a terrifying dark world by influencing their subconscious minds. Freaky stuff!
Your adventure begins in a dark world filled with “sewage, decaying wooden buildings, and rusted metals.” So basically a world where no sane person or animal would ever want to live, right?
Your mission is to find your way out of the dark, dank, mazelike world that ‘Garage’ has thrown you into. As an added twist, you do not experience this adventure in your own body. You have been gifted a biomechanical body. Half-human, half machine.
Although the game is primarily an exploration adventure, it does include strong RPG elements. You can build and develop your character with extensive body modifications to improve and enhance your skills and abilities!
According to the game’s developers, they have gone to great lengths to build a world that will create a constant sense of “strangeness and anxiety,” even though the game is not a horror game by definition.
The newly remastered version of the game includes additional chapters to the story, and multiple new endings that you can reach depending on the choices that you make as you explore the world, complete tasks, and develop your character. They have also added additional side quests and improved the overall player-friendliness of the game!
Enjoy your journey through the wet darkness!
