Fighting games are a classic in the world of video games and keeping them fresh and entertaining is a constant challenge for developers. ‘Guilty Gear’ is a “critically acclaimed fighting game franchise,” and ‘Guilty Gear Strive’ is the latest installment in the series.
‘Guilty Gear Strive’ comes to life with new “cutting edge” hybrid 2D and 3D graphics that are following a new “artistic direction” with improved character animations. According to developers, ‘Guilty Gear Strive’ is a fighter game inspired by heavy metal and features an iconic, “high octane” ‘Guilty Gear,’ soundtrack.
Players must step onto the fighting floor with new and improved gameplay mechanics that are easy to learn and use for new players but are detailed and in-depth enough to be highly engaging and entertaining for experienced players as well.
Players can pick from 15 different characters, including ‘Sol Badguy,’ and ‘Ky Kiske’ to face off against the villain of the series, ‘That Man,’ who is responsible for wreaking havoc and destruction on the world. Players can kick ass to the beat of heavy metal, crushing their opponents to the powerful tunes.
According to developers, the music is composed by the series creator, ‘Daisuke Ishiwatari.’ ‘Guilty Gear Strive’ brings the ‘Guilty Gear’ series to an epic conclusion, with the story has been in the making for 20 years, according to the developers.
‘Guilty Gear Strive’ is developed by ‘Arc System Works,’ and released on Steam on the 11th of June, 2021.
