The idea of a zombie apocalypse has been thoroughly explored over recent years in games and movies such as World War Z, DayZ, and a host of other zombie survival projects. One would think that all that zombie-fighting would be enough practice, but no, survival strategy still needs to be covered…

‘HumanitZ’ is a top-down zombie survival game that takes zombie survival to another level with an incredible amount of planning, strategizing, and management required in order to survive the apocalypse.

Players must survive at all costs. To survive, stealth, speed, and a significant amount of fighting are gonna be needed when encountering zombies and searching for resources. Finding food and key survival items such as meds and shelter are a crucial part of the initial survival process.

Players must collect materials and tools and build a base that will be safe from zombie attacks, and that can be built up and upgraded into a completely safe zombie fortress. Exploring to find new locations and resources, as well as never staying in one place for long outside of the main base, are crucial to lowering the risk of being overrun by zombie hordes.

Players can craft weapons and tools, farm for food, and build an empire of humanity in the midst of a world filled with zombies. The game offers a 4 player co-op mode as well as a solo single-player. Driveable vehicles, character customization, and varying difficulty modes are all part of what makes ‘HumanitZ’ an intense survival game despite being a top-down and not first or third person.

‘HumanitZ’ is developed by ‘Yodubzz Studios’ and is currently available as a demo on Steam with an official release scheduled for later this year.
