‘Life is Strange’ turned out to be an incredibly popular game after its initial release in January 2015. The game ended up winning multiple awards, including the ‘Golden Joysticks’ award for ‘Performance of the Year’ in 2015, and the ‘Global Game Awards’ ‘Best Original Game’ in 2015.
This incredible performance and popularity were despite slightly older graphics, game mechanics, etc.
For 2022, ‘Life is Strange’ has been remastered, both for the original ‘Life is Strange’ and for ‘Life is Strange: Before the Storm,’ making an award-winning game even better with updated graphics, improved character animations, refined gameplay puzzles, etc.
‘Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered’ is set several years before the events that took place in the original ‘Life is Strange’. According to developers, players play as a 16-year old Chloe Price, three years before the events of ‘Life is Strange’.
At this time, Chloe meets a new friend called Rachel Amber, who is not only incredibly beautiful but appears to be on the fast track to success in life.
Rachel and Amber become very close friends. Not long after this Rachel discovers something that could potentially ruin her life, take away her chances of achieving success, and ultimately completely destroy her entire family.
Rachel turns to Chloe in this time of need, and as the game progresses players must embark on a journey with Rachel and Chloe as they “confront each other's demons” and do everything in their power to beat the odds stacked against them.
‘Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered’ is developed by ‘Deck Nine’ and is on Steam.
