Neko the Nekoman lives on Nekoworld. Nekoworld is generally a very peaceful place inhabited by lots of wonderful Nekopeople who wish to do nothing other than live their lives in peace, having as much fun as they can while they live out their lives.

Neko and his fiance had been planning their wedding for a long time. The day was planned with great care, and both Neko and his fiance’s friends and family were in attendance.

But on this particular day, the peace and joy on Nekoworld were violently shattered by an invasion by the Space Dog Pirates, who proceeded to kidnap all Neko’s friends and family, including his fiance.

Neko must embark on a perilous journey to track down his missing friends and family and save them all from the Space Dog Pirates. 

Players play as Neko and must solve a variety of puzzles, both simple and complex, as part of the journey to saving Neko’s friends. Players can switch between 2D and 3D modes as they jump between platforms and solve puzzles.

Players must combat a variety of different aliens and can do so easily in 3D mode. Additionally, players have the ‘Ghost’ ability, which switches them to Neko’s ghost, which allows players to easily overcome powerful enemies. 

There are a total of 40 levels across 8 different environments or ‘biomes’ as they are termed in the game. Each biome has a challenging boss fight at the final level before players can move on to the next level.
