Losing a family member is an incredible tragedy. The real question is, how far would people go to get them back? Would they be willing to risk their life? Would they be willing to face their greatest, deepest, darkest fears? Or would they take the easy way out and just write their relative off?

‘Bramble: The Mountain King’ is a horror adventure set in the fantasy world of, you guessed it, Bramble! As the name suggests, there is nothing even remotely safe or harmless about the world of Bramble, as it crawls with mythical creatures inspired by ancient Nordic folklore.

The adventure begins with tremendous heartbreak at the loss of the protagonist’s little sister. Imagine the pain that comes with the loss of an innocent little sibling. Players must step up to the plate and take on the world of Bramble in a desperate bid to get the little girl back safely.

Bramble is full of rich, atmospheric environments including lush green forests with beautiful flowers, and deep, foggy thickets full of all sorts of creepy plants and creatures. The game is filled with emotions such as fear, joy, love, terror, and heartbreak.

Players must navigate the incredibly diverse environments of Bramble, searching for their little sister and fighting to discover the secret to the curse that binds Bramble. Every step taken must be with caution, as there are mythical creatures such as Nacken, the Skogsra, trolls, and gnomes around every corner.

As if these creatures are not enough, the world is filled with mythical Nordic bosses that must be taken down David-and-Goliath style. These bosses lurk underneath lake waters, in thickets, caves, and any other conceivable hiding spot in Bramble.

‘Bramble: The Mountain King’ is developed by ‘Dimfrost Studio’ and is scheduled to release on Steam in 2022.
