Panzer Corps 2 follows the escapades and missions of the various armored divisions of WW2, from the Shermans plowing through hedgerows in Normandy to the Cromwells rumbling across the deserts of North Africa.
‘Panzer Corps 2: Pacific’ embarks on a journey through the theatre of operations in the Pacific. ‘Panzer Corps 2: Pacific’ brings new and updated graphics and game mechanics to the series, while still presenting players with the game that they have come to know and love, according to developers.
Japan has been added to the game as a playable and moddable faction. Additionally, ‘Panzer Corps 2: Pacific’ brings 70 new units to the USA playable faction, with particular focus and attention being placed on iconic “carrier-based aircraft.”
Developers have stated that, due to the extensive role that naval combat played in the Pacific during World War 2, they have dome major reworks and upgrades on naval combat and gameplay in ‘Panzer Corps 2: Pacific.’
Players can battle it out in over 10 different battle locations, or “scenarios” as the developers have termed them, including Wake Island, the Philippines, Midway, and Guadalcanal. The Pacific was one of the bloodiest theatres of war during World War 2, seeing unimaginable cruelty and carnage as the Japanese defended their ground with suicidal ferocity.
‘Panzer Corps 2: Pacific’ is developed by ‘Flashback Games.’ The DLC requires players to own the original ‘Panzer Corps 2,’ and will be released on Steam “soon” according to the developers.
