‘Trifox’ is an action-adventure game built with a colorful “cartoonish” style that is reminiscent of how games were built when 3D action-platformers were the thing.
Losing the TV remote isn’t easy. In fact, plenty of people can testify to how incredibly infuriating it can be when it seems like the TV remote has, in fact, disappeared! Of course, for the most part, the person looking for it is just as blind as a bat.
But what if someone ACTUALLY stole your remote? In ‘Trifox,’ you play as a “phenomenal” fox with an incredible range of abilities. A couple of cruel thugs have committed the ultimate crime and stolen your TV remote!
You set off on an adventure fraught with peril and excitement in a desperate bid to get that precious remote back. You can choose from 3 primary ability classes: Mage, Warrior, and Engineer.
Each class has unique abilities and perks. Alternatively, you could also create your own “class” by building a repertoire of individual abilities suited to your playstyle! There are over 30 different abilities that you can unlock to become the ultimate fox.
The fight to get your remote back won’t be easy. You will need to battle and defeat enemies. There are all sorts of dangers lurking around, some of which might appear quite harmless and innocent… If you manage to survive the enemies, and the traps, you’ll need to beat some incredibly challenging puzzles. Failure could mean a very early grave.
‘Trifox’ is developed by ‘Big Sugar,’ and is being built to be a classic retro game with a modern finish. The official release date on Steam is still to be announced.
