Ultimate Admiral is an indie RPG game combining aspects of RPG, simulation, and strategy, with players having to design and build their own fleet before taking command as admiral and attempting to conquer their enemies.
The game offers a campaign mode where players play a role in shaping and commanding epic naval battles in the history of the world. Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnought offers 10 playable nations with more in the pipeline. During early access mode, the playable nations were limited to the British and German empires.
For those wanting to learn the game and develop a better understanding of the best ship designs and combat strategies in different situations, the Naval Academy provides a prime opportunity to build ships to meet a large variety of combat requirements, and test a plethora of different ship builds in a variety of different combat scenarios.
During early access, the Campaign mode featured a limited time period and a small part of the world. The future campaign will include a global campaign map and will feature battles and designs primarily between 1890 and 1940+.
Early access included over 40 different ship models and designs, with many more scheduled for release over future patches.
