Imagine falling asleep. And then, centuries later you wake up. No, you weren’t dead. But you aren’t alive either. You’re a vampire. The kind that chugs human blood for breakfast and turns innocent people into bloodthirsty monsters!
‘V Rising’ is an open-world vampire role-playing game. You awaken as a vampire that has been asleep for centuries. As a result of your lengthy nap, you are weak and in need of large amounts of blood. The settlements surrounding your lair provide ideal hunting grounds for people whose blood you can drink.
The people you bite will convert to vampires and become your servants. Don’t stay out too long though. The rays of the sun will burn you to ash, instantly incinerating you should you be caught in its beams.
You can explore an open world filled with mythical creatures roaming around in all sorts of terrain, from forests and mountains to deserts and dungeons. You can play alone as a solo vampire or you can play with your friends in the game’s co-op mode.
You need to keep consuming blood to keep your strength up. You also need to plan your missions and activities according to the cycle of day and night, getting indoor stuff done during the day and running outdoor missions at night when you do not need to fear the sun.
As you progress you will develop your skills and abilities. You will also be able to customize your abilities and specialize your character according to your unique playstyle.
