To play Call of Duty WWII a common question that arises is what are the best weapons in the game? To answer that scorching question here is a list of the top 5 weapons in the game. This is by no means a complete list and I’m sure some will disagree, because CoD is like that.

One of the main challenges in this game is that you play as many different characters throughout the game. This greatly influence what weapons are available to you in any given campaign, so making a list of the all-time best weapons is really a matter of style and the needs of the campaign.

5. Best Nazi Killer - Lewis Light Machine Gun

Hell Coming Straight at You

The Lewis Light Machine gun is the base light machine gun you will find early on in the game, but it is a very well- rounded machine. It has nifty features such as a 4x Optic to help with long range and you can add an extended magazine to it. Having a powerhouse such as this is an essential tool to bringing down nests of Nazi’s and is useful in War matches. It’s terrific to use when you are firing from medium to long range and can help you turn the tide of any conflict.

Coming in at Number 4 on the List. The Panzerschreck. A fun piece of destruction to add on the countdown to Number 1.

4. Best Tank Killer - Panzerschreck

Tanks a Million for all the fun

The Panzerschreck - Without a doubt an essential item to kill tanks. You won’t have them early on in the game, unless you’re lucky enough to find one. You’ll thank your mother when you do. A nifty Nazi tank killer. One shot will usually take care of any pesky tank in your way. Need I say more?

• Powerhouse
• Death will reign upon the unfortunate tank
• Don’t need to be terribly accurate
• The most powerful gun in the game

3. Best Overall Gun for Reliability - M1A1 Carbine - RIFLE

Solid and dependable like your best friend

Despite the commonality of the weapon in the game this is a solid shooter. This rifle is a godsend when you are in a firefight as ammo is plentiful for it, the magazine size is decent, and it fires rapidly with mods that you can acquire in the game such as adding the Rapid Fire mod to it. This mod enables you to shoot much faster. The gun sight is also good for targets a little further out. If you add High Caliber, which you get at level 6, now you’ve got great head shot damage. All in all, a solid choice for one of the top 5 best weapons in the game.

2. Best Overall Gun in Tight Quarters - PPSH-41 SMG

Takes out hordes of Nazi's with ease

It is a great gun that is used widely in Multi-player scenarios. There is not a huge firing distance, but honestly when you’ve got a horde of Nazi’s piling up on you, that’s not really a concern. It can be hard to control due to its recoil, so I’d recommend equipping a grip and extended magazine with it. Overall, a great gun to have by your side.

1. Best Overall Gun - STG44 - ASSAULT RIFLE

Arguably one of the most versatile guns in the game. It has a very high rate of fire and is great for clearing out nests and close-up fights. It has a decent amount of ammo and a high rate of fire. The rate of firing is an 8 out of 10. That is perfect for large hordes of Nazi’s in a bunker which there are a plethora of in CoD WWII.
