[Top 15] CSGO Best Brazilian Players

Brazil has the best fans in the world, here's a list of CSGO Best Brazilian Players who encourage them

Brazilian CSGO has been known to be the most developed among most CSGO scenes worldwide.

In 2016, the Brazilian CSGO squad of Luminosity Gaming, led by FalleN, won the MLG Columbus 2016, turning the CSGO world’s spotlight towards the Brazilian scene.

Things have changed since then, with FalleN and co. falling behind (no pun intended), leaving huge shoes to fill for the younger generations in South America.

This article will provide you with a list of the Top 15 CSGO Best Brazilian Players, as well as their best achievements and stats demonstrating how good they are.

You would expect to find the names of FalleN or Coldzera, but unfortunately, they’re not ranked that high on the list.

Check this list to see who took the place of the Brazilian scene’s G.O.A.Ts.

Methodology

To pick the top 15 CSGO best Brazilian players, we’ll use HLTV’s rating system, choosing players from Brazil only, filtering the performance of the players in the last 12 months, and counting all the LAN and online matches on all maps.

This methodology is the same one used to pick the top 15 best CSGO North American players on the website.

Fun Facts

Before we go into the list, here are some fun facts about the Brazilian CSGO scene:

  • The Brazilian Counter-Strike legend Fallen is the highest-earning Brazilian player in the history of CSGO, earning a total of $1,155,090.03.
  • Brazilian Streamer Gaules holds the record for the highest viewership for a CSGO Major Co-Stream with over 684,000 current viewers in the game between Imperial vs. Cloud9 on 16th May 2022.
  • Only 1 Brazilian CSGO player resides in HLTV’s Top 20 players, and he is KSCERATO from Furia, and he comes at #15.

Top15 CSGO Best Brazilian Players

#15 Lucas "lux" Meneghini (Role: Rifler)

lux is the first name on our list of best Brazilian CSGO players, as he’s a young star playing for team Fluxo.

He only started his professional career 2 years ago, but since then, he’s boasted phenomenal numbers for a CSGO player who’s been playing for only 2 years.

What makes him a great player? lux has won more than 70% of his 1v1 clutches this year!

His AK-47 is above average for all Brazilians, as he’s nearly doubled up his M4a1-s kills with his AK-47.

lux recently won:

  • KaBuM! Challenge Especial Gaules #2 $2300
  • CCT South America Series #2 $11,000

#13 Guilherme "piriaz1n" Barbosa (Role: Rifler)

piriaz1n is Team O Plano’s star, who, at the age of 19 years old, has already earned more than $10,000 in winnings.

He managed to get a better rating than all his teammates throughout the year, with a 1.14 rating over 123 maps.

His K/D also speaks for itself with a positive 342 difference.

piriaz1n’s favorite weapon is the AK-47, with 1073 kills. The M4a1-s comes in second with 517, while he surprisingly managed to get 246 kills with the AWP, helping his teammates as a secondary AWPer.

He is only 21 years old, but he managed to boast a 1.14 rating over 139 maps and an eye-catching +319 K/D difference.

t9rnay’s impeccable headshot ratio helped him win 65% of his 1v1 clutches.

#11 Yuri "yuurih" Boian (Role: Rifler)

You won’t be surprised by the number of Furia players you’ll find on this list, starting with their rifler yuurih.

He is a youngster of 22 years old who has been playing professionally for 6 years already.

yuurih earned a 1.14 rating over 130 maps with a +321 K/D difference.

His lifetime earnings are absurd, as he has earned $288,882 throughout his career.

yuurih’s AK-47 has proven deadly with 973 kills, while the M4a1-s is a close second with 785 kills.

Tournaments yuurih has recently won:

  • PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR $25,000
  • Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: North America $25,000

#10 Rafael "saffee" Costa (Role: AWPer)

Another Furia member occupies the #10 position on our list, and he’s saffee.

Contrary to his name, he’s not safe to play against by any means, even at the age of 27 years old.

saffee is Furia’s AWPer alongside art, and that helped him get a +640 K/D on 193 maps, besides a 1.14 rating.

His career earnings are lower than his teammate’s with +$67,000 despite playing on the same team. That’s based on his late joining of Furia, compared to other team members.

saffee has 1883 AWP kills and 751 AK-47 kills, which suits a team’s AWPer.

Saffee recently won:

  • PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR $25,000
  • FiReLEAGUE 2021: North America
  • Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Winter: North American Open Qualifier

#9 Felipe "skullz" Medeiros (Role: Rifler)

skullz is paiN Gaming’s consistent rifler, who managed to prove himself at a really young age of 20 years old.

He’s been part of the pro scene in 2017, but 2022 has been one of his best years so far, with a 1.15 rating across 124 maps.

skullz boasted a surprising +411 K/D difference during the last 12 months of CSGO tournaments.

His total earnings reached more than $23,500 thanks to his insanely consistent headshot ratio of 53.6%.

skullz consistency is also based on his great CT sides on maps, as his M4a1-s kills are too close to his AK-47s, contrary to the majority of CSGO players.

skullz recently won:

  • ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022 $50,000
  • IEM Road to Rio 2022: American RMR - South American Qualifier #1
  • CLUTCH Season 4 $4250
  • CBCS Retake Series 2022 $2500

#8 Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt (Role: Rifler)

Another big name in the CSGO Brazilian scene comes from team paiN Gaming. He is the veteran biguzera.

biguzera managed to achieve a similar rating to his teammate skullz, but with a higher K/D difference of +553 throughout 234 maps.

His career earnings have reached a higher level too, nearing $61,000.

Being a rifler made a big name for biguzera, as he never got more than 200 kills throughout the year with any weapon, except for the AK-47 with 2000 kills and the M4a1-s with 1130 kills.

biguzera recently won:

  • ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022 $50,000

#7 Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer (Role: Rifler)

00 Nation’s youngster damau is the #7 best player in Brazil due to his insane clutch rate and high rating.

He averaged a 1.15 rating throughout the last 12 months, playing 162 maps and achieving more than a +445 K/D difference.

He’s been playing professionally for four years already, despite his young age of 18, and that’s helped him earn nearly $50,000 so far.

dumau’s AK-47 skills are impeccable, as he has more than 1100 kills with the Russian weapon, helping him secure more than 63% of his 1v1 clutches.

dumau recently won:

  • ESL Challenger at DreamHack Valencia 2022: North American Qualifier
  • ESL Challenger at DreamHack Valencia 2022: North American Open Qualifier #2

#6 Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato (Role: Rifler)

KSCERATO is Team Furia’s main star. He is their savior when it comes to coming back from a dire situation mid-round.

Why does that usually happen? art, the IGL of Furia, is the most aggressive CSGO player to date, and that doesn’t always pay off, putting Furia in a 4v5 situation constantly.

KSCERATO, on the other hand, comes with double and triple kills in those situations, yielding Furia round wins despite the disadvantage.

He’s still 23 years old, but that didn’t stop him from winning more than $280,000 throughout his 5-year-old CSGO career.

KSCERATO enjoys a 1.15 rating and a +423 K/D difference throughout 130 maps.

With his favorite AK-47 and M4a1-s weapons, he managed to win more than 63% of his clutches.

KSCERATO recently won:

  • PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR $25,000
  • Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: North America $25,000
  • Elisa Invitational Summer 2021 $50,000

#5 Patrick “detr0ittJ” Carvalho (Role: AWPer)

detr0ittJ is Team Daotsu’s best player and AWPer, rating a 1.15 at the young age of 22.

He has recently performed phenomenally in tournament-saving Bo3 games, boasting a +2.00 rating in winning maps!

Not only that, but he continues to improve his AWPing skills, occupying the rank of a top 5 AWPer in the whole region.

With that, detr0ittJ has a +454 K/D difference over 145 maps.

detr0ittJ’s 1469 AWP kills helped him secure more than %63.2 of his 1v1 clutches throughout the last year alone.

His team has yet to win a tournament, but they have come 2nd in multiple tournaments, including:

  • CBCS Masters Festival 2022 Finals
  • Liga Gamers Club 2022 Serie A August Cup
  • Liga Gamers Club 2022 Serie A July Cup
  • Monster Energy BGS Bomb B Cup 2022
  • Liga Gamers Club 2022 Serie A June Cup

#4 Gabriel "nython" Lino (Role: AWPer)

nython is a high-rofile Brazilian AWPer who’s been playing for Team paiN Gaming but has turned inactive lately.

He’s 24 years old and has been playing professionally for only 3 years.

However, those 3 years were more than enough for nython to obtain a 1.16 rating and nearly a +600 K/D difference in 157 maps only.

nython’s lifetime earnings reached the $33,000 level lately before he turned inactive with his team.

His AWPing skills are no joke, getting nearly 1500 AWP kills in a single year of CSGO, while both the AK-47 and M4a1-s kills didn’t mount up to 900.

nython recently won:

  • ESL Challenger League Season 41: North America $20,000
  • ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Spring 2022 #5 $9000
  • BLAST Premier: Spring American Showdown 2022 $20,000
  • Ace North American Masters: Spring 2022

#3 Jhonatan "JOTA" Willian (Role: Rifler)

mibr’s JOTA is the first player on this list with a 1.17 rating, as his performance throughout the last year indicated how well he’s improved since he kicked off his CSGO career in 2018.

With a +552 K/D difference over 199 maps, JOTA rated 2022 as the best year of his career so far.

His only downside is his clutch win rate, as JOTA has only won 45% of his 1v1 clutches this year.

Regardless of that, his lifetime earnings reached nearly $40,000.

What’s surprising about JOTA is his love for the M4a1-s. He has got 1500 kills with the CT weapon, more than the AK-47’s 1328.

This feat is rare, and only 1-2 players have the same stat throughout both the North and South American regions.

JOTA recently won:

  • CCT Central Europe Series #1 $22,000
  • ESL Pro League Conference Season 16
  • ESL Challenger League Season 40: North America $20,000
  • ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Spring 2022 #1 $9000

#2 Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes (Role: Rifler)

Chelo is ranked second on our list of the best Brazilian players in CSGO, having been the star of team Mibr for quite some time.

However, he has recently joined team Imperial to work with Brazilian scene legends FalleN and Fer.

At 24 years of age, chelo earned the highest rating in the Brazilian scene with a1.18 rating and a +365 K/D difference over 137 maps only.

During his 7 years of pro play, chelo achieved more than $86,000 in lifetime earnings, thanks to his 65.7% 1v1 clutch win rate.

chelo’s favorite weapon is the AK-47, with over 1000 kills in a single year, and his headshot rate of 56.5% shows why he loves the weapon.

chelo recently won:

  • ESL Pro League Conference Season 16
  • ESL Challenger League Season 40: North America $20,000
  • ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Spring 2022 #1 $9000
  • ESEA Season 39: Advanced Division - North America $7000

#1 Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves (Role: Rifler)

Lacaozy is the #1 CSGO Best Brazilian Player on our list. He was a standout performer for Team Sharks for two years in a row before joining Team Fluxo.

He is still a young player with a bright future ahead of him, as he topped the list of best Brazilian players at the age of 20.

Lacaozy’s numbers speak for themselves; a 1.18 rating and a +510 K/D difference over 142 maps is supreme for the whole scene.

Despite him trying the AWP here and there, he still managed to get a +50% headshot ratio and a 58.5% 1v1 clutch win rate.

With his performance, he’s expected to double his lifetime earnings of $23,000 in no time.

Lacaozy’s favorite weapon continues to be the AK-47 with over 1200 kills, while the M4a1-s’ kills didn’t cross the 700 mark.
