Until this day, Germany continues to produce generations of the highest caliber that play CSGO to the limits.

BIG, the only German CSGO team in top20, achieved the title of the best CSGO team in the world back in July-August 2020, according to HLTV.org.

In this article, you’ll have the Top 10 CSGO Best German Players throughout the last 12 months.

 

Methodology

To pick the Top 15 CSGO best German players, we’ll use HLTV’s rating system, choosing players from Germany only, filtering the performance of the players in the last 12 months, and counting all the LAN and online matches on all maps.

This methodology is the same one used to pick the Top 15 Best CSGO North American Players and the Top 15 Best CSGO Brazilian Players on the website.

Top 10 CSGO Best German Players

#10 Timo "Spiidi" Richter (Role: Rifler)

We are starting our top 10 CSGO Best German Players list with the veteran Spiidi, whose prime time was spent at MOUZ between 2015-2017, but has moved to Sprout since then until July 2022.

At the age of 27 years old, Spiidi continues to play well in a game controlled by ambitious youngsters, rating 1.03 in 239 maps, with a less than decent +48 K/D difference.

Throughout his career of 9 years, Spiidi earned nearly $200,000.

His AK-47 and  M4a1-s skills are nearly similar, as he got +1500 kills with each weapon.

Spiidi’s main attribute is his experience in the game, which helped him win more than 58% of his 1v1 clutches.

#9 Jon "JDC" de Castro (Role: Rifler)

JDC is the only German player in MOUZ Esports, playing the rifler role in a team full of youngsters with high potential.

His career started in 2017 when he was 17 years old, and since then he has earned over $75,000 in total earnings.

JDC enjoys a 1.05 rating and a 117 K/D difference over 211 maps.

His 1v1 clutches win rate is better than Spiidi’s, winning 63% of his clutches.

Additionally, he has 1.5 AK-47 kills for each M4a1-s kill he got this year, with nearly 1500 AK-47 kills and 1000 M4a1-s kills.

prosus is BIG Academy’s rifler with a high headshot ratio of 55% while still being 19 years old.

His career is only 3 years old and he has joined a few teams since he started, but earning more than $32,000 in this little time speaks a lot about prosus’ skills.

Despite his extremely high 1v1 clutch win rate of +67%, his K/D difference is as little as +9 only, with a 1.06 rating over 173 maps.

prosus’ most used weapon is the AK-47, with +1170 kills, while the M4a1-s silencer is a bit shy of the 1000 kills mark.

#7 Karim "Krimbo" Moussa (Role: Rifler)

Krimbo has earned a great reputation as a player who developed his skills in a short time, promoting from Team Cowana nearly 12 months ago, to the BIG academy, and shortly after to BIG’s main roster.

Krimbo is only 20 years of age and he’s been playing professionally for 4 years, but his stats speak for themselves.

He boasts a 1.08 rating over 169 maps, with a +242 K/D difference and a 50% headshot ratio.

For a youngster, he’s earned nearly $70,000, which is a dream for many at a young age.

Using his impeccable AK-47 and M4a1-s skills, he managed to win 62% of his 1v1 clutches.

tabseN is BIG’s in-game leader (IGL) and the mastermind behind Germany’s best CSGO team.

Alongside his masterful mind, the veteran leader enjoys a high rating of 1.09 and a shy +34 K/D difference over 183 maps.

tabseN earned nearly $400,000 in tournament wins during his 10-year career.

He has better M4a1-s skills than the AK-47s, with an impressive 70% 1v1 clutch win rate.

#5 Marcel "hyped" Köhn (Role: AWPer)

BIG Academy’s AWPer occupies the #5 position on our list of the Top 10 CSGO Best German Players.

Thanks to his excellent AWPing skills, he enjoys a 1.10 rating and a +449 K/D difference over 160 maps.

He’s only been playing professionally for 2 years but has earned more than $22,000 throughout those few years.

The downside to his skills is his clutching ability, as he’s lost more 1v1 clutches than the ones he’s won recently.

Obviously, his AWP is the most popular weapon, getting more than 1850 kills with the weapon, while both the AK-47 and the M4a1-s don’t mount up to 500 kills altogether.

s1n is BIG Academy’s main star. At the young age of 20, s1n has proven himself worthy of the title of the best on his team with a 1.11 rating & a +283 K/D difference over 173 maps.

His headshot ratio is decently great at 49%.

Despite that, s1n’s 1v1 clutch win rate can only be described as “good” at 51%.

s1n’s favorite weapon is the AK-47, first to the M4a1-s.

#3 Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich (Role: AWPer)

The top 3 CSGO player in Germany is slaxz-, who’s the main AWPer for Team Sprout.

He doesn’t boast a high headshot ratio due to his AWPing but has boasted the highest number of AWP kills among all German CSGO players with 3141 AWP kills.

During his 5-year old career, slaxz- earned $68,000 in tournament winnings.

slaxz- also has the highest K/D difference across the whole nation, with +683 K/D across 271 maps.

syrsoN is the second-best German CSGO player on this list, thanks to his impressive consistency, and incredible AWPing skills.

syrsoN is also the only German on HLTV’s top20 list of 2020, while no German player was featured on 2021’s list.

Despite his age of 26 years old, syrsoN boasts a 1.11 rating over 183 maps and a top 3 +484 K/D difference.

His lifetime earnings are superb, with over $300,000 so far.

What’s strange about syrsoN’s stats is the fact that he has more USP-s kills (216) and Glock kills (147) than he has with both main rifles AK-47 (140) and M4a1-s (123).

On the contrary, he has 2283 AWP kills in the last 12 months, helping him win +57% of his 1v1 clutches.

faveN is the best CSGO German player on this list, with an outstanding 1.12 rating and +430 K/D difference across 180 maps.

He’s the only German player with such a high rating, as he has become BIG Clan’s main star since Jan 2022, when he joined the team coming from Sprout.

At the age of 22 years old, he has won more than $150,000 in tournament winnings thanks to his +53% headshot rate and +56% 1v1 clutch win rate.

The AK-47 is his favorite weapon with +1450 kills, while the M4a1-s skills got him +900 kills.
