10. Ursa

This ferocious and breathtaking bear is a force to be reckoned with. Ursa is one of the most played carry heroes in the game, known for his ability to jungle smoothly and slay Roshan alone. His third ability, Fury Swipes, combined with his second, Overpower, can obliterate squishy enemy support heroes in the early game. Buying a Morbid mask allows him to sustain in lane and turn around a fight swiftly coupled with his ultimate, Enrage. Alchemist stands no chance against him right from the early game.

9. Axe

Doing immense physical damage right off the bat is quite unheard of in the early stages of the game, but Axe is one noble exception! A few Counter Helix spins and boom you’re dead! It gets messy to communicate with your team as you have more units around you, the more damage the Axe Call does. Kaldr, the Ancient Apparition is quite literally a cool counter to Morphling. He possesses all the quintessential qualities to ruin the latter’s game with the help of Ice Blast, making it impossible for him to survive the team fight or gain HP. He is also a great pick due to his flexibility as he can also be played in the mid-lane, which is quite a rare sight but can do wonders if played exceptionally well. The Admiral almighty himself! Kunkka is known to be a great tank hero due to his strength gain which is naturally high from the early levels. 5. Slardar

Hailing from the deep seas in the menacing Slardar. His looks are quite enough to scare his foes away, his crushing spells and damage pierce through his enemies’ armor. The wrath of the Storm takes away the mightiest of opponents, Razor is prepared to whip his enemies and give them a drubbing! Razor obliterates melee heroes, he steals their damage, slows them down, and whips them back with their damage! Razor can farm faster with his spells, which translates to early game domination and early team fights as well. Not all are capable of mastering this arcane magician. His skillset is often confusing and complicated but he fares exceptionally well against Wraith King. A good Invoker induces fear in the enemy WK, and a great Invoker makes him rage quit! Invoker may be seen as this squishy mid-hero but is very powerful even when he is low on levels. He is a great nuisance with Cold Snap and Forge Spirit combo. This vicious creature of the deep sea knows no bounds. Slark is one of the stealthiest and deadly carry heroes in the game. His lethal skills make him quite popular in the current meta. Diffusal Blade makes him immensely strong as it causes WK to lose mana quickly. He can also purge off WK’s stun, allowing him to chase the latter effortlessly. Slark also farms faster compared to the Wraith King, which gives him an advantage over him in the late game.
