A boy who has mastered the Guhua combat style

There are few characters in Genshin Impact that can literally do a bit of everything, from dealing decent damage to healing, and everything in between. These characters are valuable Support units or you can also use them as your main DPS. For this Top 5, it’s Xingqiu’s turn, an avid swordsman with a Hydro vision that can fit any team with his defensive yet deadly Rain Swords.

5. Hydro DPS

If you created your account recently and you don’t really have any other characters that you want or can use as a DPS, you can use this build on your Xingqiu so he can carry your team. For this build, you’ll need two pieces of the Gladiator’s Finale set and two pieces of the Heart of Depth set.

What “Hydro DPS” excels in:

• Attack % bonus thanks to Gladiator’s set.
• Burst damage % thanks to Noblesse set, this is quite useful taking in count how powerful his burst is.

Build Details:

• Circlet: Crit. Damage / Crit Rate.
• Goblet: Hydro DMG bonus.
• Sands: Attack% or Energy Recharge %.
• Plume: Attack (This is invariable).
• Flower: HP (This is invariable).
• Aim for these Substats: Crit Damage, Crit Rate,  Attack %, Energy Recharge %.

4. Early Game Bookworm

(Early Game Bookwrom build, start at minute 03:31)

Xingqiu is a 4-star character, contrary to certain 5-star ones, you can get him at early levels of your Adventure in Teyvat. Therefore, if you have him, be sure to get him this build, that way you can spam his burst as soon as possible. For this build, you’ll need two pieces of Scholar’s and two pieces of Noblesse Oblige.

What “Early Game Bookworm” excels in:

• Good Energy Recharge and Burst Damage Bonus from these combinations of sets.
• Because this is a build for the first Adventure Rank levels, you don’t have to worry for 5-star artifacts.

Build Details:

• Circlet: Crit. Damage / Crit Rate.
• Goblet: Hydro DMG bonus.
• Sands: Attack% or Energy Recharge %.
• Plume: Attack (This is invariable).
• Flower: HP (This is invariable).
• Aim for these Substats: Crit Damage, Crit Rate,  Attack %, Energy Recharge %.

3. Sharp Rain Swords

(Sharp Rainswords build, start at minute 07:39)

This is a build that works amazingly on Xingqiu due to the nature of the artifact set you are going to use on him. That set is the Noblesse Oblige set, which you are going to use the four pieces. This is ideal if you don’t have any other team member with the four pieces

What “Sharp Rainswords” excels in:

• Damage bonus for Xingqiu’s burst.
• Damage bonus for your whole party after casting his Burst ability.
• This works wonders for any main DPS or any other character in the party because you’ll have a damage bonus plus Xingqiu’s Burst.

Build Details:

• Circlet: Crit. Damage / Crit Rate.
• Goblet: Hydro DMG bonus.
• Sands: Energy Recharge %.
• Plume: Attack (This is invariable).
• Flower: HP (This is invariable).
• Aim for these Substats: Crit Damage, Crit Rate,  Attack %, Energy Recharge %.

2. End Game Xingqiu

(End Game Xingqiu, start at minute 08:10)

This is a build that has been used the most on Xingqiu since the set Heart of Depth came out. You are going to need two pieces of Heart of Depth and two pieces of Noblesse Oblige set. The reason why this build is so good it’s because it directly improves Xingqiu’s elemental damage and his burst.

What “End Game Xingqiu” excels in:

• This build is focused on dealing as much damage with your Rain Swords (Burst Ability) and Guhua Style: Fatal Rainscreen (Elemental Ability) which is pretty much what you will be using Xingqiu for.

Build Details:

• Circlet: Crit. Damage / Crit Rate.
• Goblet: Hydro DMG bonus.
• Sands: Energy Recharge %.
• Plume: Attack (This is invariable).
• Flower: HP (This is invariable).
• Aim for these Substats: Crit Damage, Crit Rate,  Attack %, Energy Recharge %.

1. New Power

(New Power Build, check the entire video to see how it works)

The name of this build pretty much speaks for itself since the new region of Inazuma has arrived, and with it, new artifact sets. I consider that using four pieces of the new Emblem of Severe Fate is something that will maximize Xingqiu’s damage as much as possible. This is because you will be constantly spamming your burst plus a massive damage bonus.

What “New Power” excels in:

• 20% energy recharge bonus.
• Up to 75% Damage bonus per every 25% of Energy Recharge Attack from the four pieces.

Build Details:

• Circlet: Crit. Damage / Crit Rate.
• Goblet: Hydro DMG bonus.
• Sands: Attack % or Energy Recharge %.
• Plume: Attack (This is invariable).
• Flower: HP (This is invariable).
• Aim for these Substats: Crit Damage, Crit Rate,  Attack %, Energy Recharge %.
