Sword is the most common weapon in the game and is possessed by almost every enemy you will encounter in-game. If you prefer hand-to-hand combats, there is good news. You will be able to find a lot of different swords with awesome perks. Like any other weapon in the game, you can claim swords by completing quests and defeating enemies.
In-game you will encounter 3 kinds of swords:
- Regular Swords - Very common weapon in the game. This type of sword is typically used by some organized fighting forces. All regular swords have increased the “Critical Rate Hit” perk.
- Sickle Swords - Sicke swords are similar to regular swords. Using sickle swords you will be able to grab your enemies which makes them vulnerable to attack. All sicke swords come with a “Bleeding on Hit” perk.
- Dual Swords - Dual swords have a shorter range than other swords, but will let you deal damage quicker. When using dual swords you will have to move a lot in the fight, since you won’t be able to equip a shield. This set of swords are coming along with the “Adrenaline Regeneration” perk.
5. Golden Wolf

“Golden Wolf” is a legendary so-called gladius. Gladius is a short, double-edged sword that served as a weapon used by Roman legionaries. It was claimed by Byek of Siwa once he killed “The Outsider” Phylake.
This legendary regular sword will make you more durable in fights. It comes with “Critical Hit Damage” and “Critical Hit Rate” perks. They will allow you to deal tons of damage to the targets. One more perk that comes with this weapon is “Health on Kill”. It will regenerate your health after killing an enemy, which is useful while fighting multiple stronger enemies.
To claim this legendary sword, you will have to defeat “The Outsider” Phylake. Phylakes are Egyptian police forces that operated throughout the kingdom. They were ordered to hunt Bayek of Siwa after he assassinated Phylakitai Gennadios.
Phylakes are very difficult enemies and be prepared for a tough battle. This one is located in the city of Alexandria and is rated level 20. Once you kill him, you will be able to collect “Golden Wold”.

4. Hepzefa’s Sword

This sword once belonged to Hepzefa. He was Medjay of Siwa and the closest friend of Bayek. After he was killed by Romans, his sword was retrieved by the village healer eventually giving it to Bayek.
“Hepzefa’s Sword” is a legendary regular sword that deals satisfyingly high damage. Perks that make this weapon so great are high “Critical Hit Rate” and “Adrenaline on Hurt” for charged attacks. The best of them all is the “On Fire” perk for dealing constant damage to the targets. Fire can spread around which makes it the perfect weapon for taking down multiple enemies.
To claim this sword, you will have to complete the main quest “The Final Weighing”. This quest is rated level 33 and will begin automatically after the quest “The Aftermath”.
After reaching the marked location, you will have to enter the temple. You can avoid a fight by not going in the front but rather entering over the roof. When you are finally inside, you will have to reach a vault and head inside.
After that, you will have to carry out your fallen friend. Your objectives will change. After the long horse ride uses Senu to help you to unlock the final location.
After speaking to the village healer, you will have to escort her to the cart and go on another long horse ride. Your next goal will be to reach the marked temple and assassinate Flavius. Once you do, the mission will end and you will be able to claim this powerful sword.

3. Ultima Blade

This legendary sword was once hidden beneath the Meidum Pyramid in Saqqara Nome. It’s part of a crossover with Final Fantasy XV side quest. Solving “Sundial Puzzle”, Bayek will be able to claim this legendary sword.
With almost 400 damage per second and “Critical Hit Rate” and “Adrenaline Regeneration” this weapon will defeat the toughest enemies. On top of that, it comes with a “Health for Critical” perk. That means you will have a 100% “Critical Hit Rate” while your health is under 20%.
“Sundial Puzzle is a part of the quest “A Gift from the Gods” and you can find it located in Saqqara Nome. This quest is rated level 23. When you reach the marker, you will have to enter the tomb. That will begin the “Sundial Puzzle”
To be able to solve the “Sundial Puzzle” you will have to come at a certain time of the day. You can start this quest only in the dawn. To speed things up, you can use the ability “Dawn and Dusk”.
Look at the sundial and you will notice how the pillar’s face panels are descending into the ground and revealing blue crystals. You will have to shoot the right crystals to activate the sundial.
Once you activate it, you will be able to go back into the tomb. There you will interact with the glowing object. After that, you will be rewarded 3 legendary items, including “Ultima Blade”.
2. The Living One

“The Living One” is a large sickle sword once owned by pharaoh Akhenaten. He was a pharaoh of the Eighteenth dynasty of Egypt. Once he got defeated by the Bayek of Siwa, he lost the legendary sword.
This legendary sickle sword is the perfect weapon for players that like to use charged attacks. It comes together with 3 amazing perks “Bleeding on Hit” will deal constant damage in a fight, even when you are not attacking the enemy, and will interfere with the enemy’s attacks. Another amazing perk is “Adrenaline Regeneration” which will allow you to use charged attacks more often. And the best perk is “Instant Charging” which will fill your adrenaline meter almost instantly.
To claim this legendary sword, you will have to complete the quest “The Heretic”. This quest is available in the downloadable content expansion package “The Curse of the Pharaohs” and is rated level 48. This quest will be available once you complete the quest “Aten Rising”.
This mission is located in Theban Necropolis. Following the objective, you will come to the Temple of Hatshepsut. You will have to find the Amun-Ra statue and other loot.
Once completing that you will have to go to the Tomb of Akhenaten. Following further objectives, you will reach Aten. You will have to destroy the golden orb and repeat that 4 more times, following locations on the map.
After destroying all of the orbs, you will jump into the fight with King Akhenaten. Defeating him you will be able to collect the legendary sword, The Living One.

1. Imitation Siwan Khopesh

This is a cursed legendary sickle sword. The sword is made to imitate an actual so-called khopesh sword from Siwa. This legendary khopesh was once possessed by the mother of Kenthap, and after she was saved by a group of bandits she gave it to Bayek of Siwa.
One of the best swords in the game. It comes with “Bleeding on Hit” and “Critical Hit Damage” perks. With 460 damage per second, this sickle sword will make your beast in the fights. Another awesome perk that comes along with this weapon is “Cursed”, which allows your weapon to deal 200% more damage than a normal weapon.
Completing quest “Forging Siwa”, one of the “Faiyum” side quests, you will be able to collect this legendary weapon. This quest will automatically appear as you pass through the black market of Euhemeria in Faiyum. “Forgoing Siwa” quest is rated level 25.
The quest is quite simple. First, you will speak to the man on the streets which will point the direction for the next objective. You will have to examine the location and after that speak with the child. The child will lead you to the next location. There you will kill the enemies and free the child’s mother, and after that, you can claim this legendary sickle sword.
