In Destiny 2, kinetic weapons have no special elemental alignment. They use white ammo pickups and are the “standard” primary weapons Guardians use. Energy weapons are attuned to the elements Arc, Solar, and Void. These guns do higher damage to enemies’ shields, but once their shields break is when our kinetic guns shine. As they do much more damage to their health than our energy weapons do.
These “regular” guns make the backbone of any players’ build or loadout so here’s our top 10 to help you find one that’s right for you.
