  • Scythe of Vyse - Bought at around 39 minutes. Scythe is an extremely situational item, which works extremely well in most matchups as you can disable enemies after you initiate on them, making it easy for your team to follow up with more damage and lockdown to neutralize the target.
  • Assault Cuirass - Bought at 43 minutes. Assault Cuirass grants increased armor and attack speed which makes Mars extremely tanky. It also reduces enemy armor in an AoE, increasing its threat potential.

4. Mid Build

Mars is known to be a versatile laner, he can be picked in both the mid and the off lane, depending on the enemy matchup. Mars can sustain himself easily in the laning stage as he is known to be tanky and can heal well with regen items like Bottle. The focal point of the build is to deal high damage right off the bat and further synergize with allies in the late stages of the game if he is being played in the mid-lane.

Mid Mars is known to be extremely powerful in the early game, due to the high kill potential with the early ultimate and Spear combo as he can rotate quite early on in the game. He also fares well against most matchups, regardless of them being melee or ranged. Mars excels at farming and can also get items faster in the middle lane as compared to a traditional offlane Mars.

Use This Build If:

Items to buy for this build (Early to Late Game)

The armor corruption makes Mars extremely threatening in all stages of the game, allowing him to kill enemies quickly along with taking objectives faster as it affects towers as well.

  • Refresher’s Orb - Bought at 44 minutes. Refresher is seen in the late game, it allows Mars to use his abilities and items twice, increasing his threat potential by a huge margin.

3. Aggressive Build

Being an aggressive laner helps very well when you are playing Mars. The hero was meant to play that way, that rough style is highly in demand due to the potential he has. Mars can constantly fight due to his tanky nature, his lockdown potential, and the control he has with the help of his ultimate. This build has all the right items required for him to be in the lead and initiate for his team.

Mars can sustain with items such as Black King Bar, and Scythe of Vyse, which allow him to be invincible in teamfights along with disabling his enemies quickly. These items ensure his enemies do not get their spells off while Mars destroys them in the fights. Aggression build is quite common in the recent meta as it is all about teamfights and domination

Use This Build If:

  • You want to be involved in more skirmishes from the early game, this aggressive build does wonders if you play Mars in the offlane. As an offlane Mars, you have to be ultra-aggressive to win your lane and further make space for your cores by constantly ganking other lanes as show

Skill Points

  • Level 1: God’s Rebuke - Extremely buffed in the new meta as it deals high physical damage, has to be skilled on the first level if you are facing melee opponents or if you do not have enough follow-up to secure kills right from the first level. Can also stack with attack modifiers or any kind of lifesteal in the late game.
  • Level 2: Spear of Mars - Can be used to lock down enemies to a nearby tree, works extremely well if your team has chain stun and follow-up potential.
  • Level 3: Spear of Mars
  • Level 4: Bulwark - Blocks damage dealt to him from the front or the sides by up to 70% on level 4. It can be further upgraded with Aghanim’s Scepter, which deals physical damage when Bulwark is toggled on.
  • Level 5: Spear of Mars
  • Level 6: Arena of Blood - This big-ticket ultimate traps enemies inside an arena, making them take damage if they are near the edges, and also pushes them back. It can be used in tandem with other damage dealing or lockdown spells, demanding excellent synergy from your team.
  • Level 7: Spear of Mars
  • Level 8: God’s Rebuke
  • Level 9: God’s Rebuke
  • Level 10: God’s Rebuke
  • Level 11: Stats
  • Level 12: Arena of Blood

  • Satanic - Bought at 29 minutes. Satanic allows him to lifesteal and sustain himself in teamfights. This item also dispels any negative buffs as well as quickly healing him from 0 to 100 in no time.

2. Collapse Build

Collapse is by far one of the best Mars players, which he has proved by showcasing his ungodly Spear skills at the Ti last year. Collapse is a team player, hence you will often see him buy utility items on Mars, but the current meta demands an extremely high-tempo Mars build that does not falter in the late game.

Collapse has adapted to the new meta and he prefers to build team fight items that assist his team in defeating the foes. The build includes some obvious items like Blink Dagger and Black King Bar, which most people build, but most people can not compete or get on the same level as Collapse when it boils down to the raw mechanical skill he can display on Mars.

Use This Build If:

  • You want to emulate Collapse's playstyle of playing Mars. There are various Mars players but Collapse stands out with his flashy and jaw-dropping plays. His teamfight-oriented build is useful in pretty much all matchups.

Skill Points

  • Level 1: God’s Rebuke - Deals high physical damage, has to be skilled on the first level if you are facing melee opponents or if you do not have enough follow-up to secure kills right from the first level. Can also stack with attack modifiers or any kind of lifesteal in the late game.

  • Level 8: Bulwark - Blocks damage dealt to him from the front or the sides by up to 70% on level 4. It can be further upgraded with Aghanim’s Scepter, which deals physical damage when Bulwark is toggled on.

  • Blink Dagger - Bought at 12 minutes. Blink Dagger is an early pickup as it allows you to initiate and follow up with Spear or in tandem with the Arena.
  • Black King Bar - Bought at 20 minutes. Provides magic immunity, making him invulnerable as he is initiating. It is essential in most matchups where he is facing enemies with high magic damage or disabling spells.

1. ATF Build

Keeping the tradition of OG players alive, Ammar The Flower is known to be a rather controversial figure yet an extremely talented prodigy. Achieving major success at a young age is quite a rare feat in the Dota pro scene. Mars is one of the favorites of Ammar, as the hero fits his playstyle like a glove. He is an aggressive laner, extremely powerful right off the bat, and stays relevant even in the late game.

Ammar’s build includes team-fighting items such as Black King Bar, Aghanim’s Scepter, Blink Dagger, Satanic, and Daedalus. These items are extremely hard-hitting and make him deal high physical damage as well as sustain him in the fights with lifesteal as well as magic immunity. Though most of these items are extremely situational, ATF does a great job of showing how he can obliterate enemies with the most obscure of builds.

Use This Build If:

  • You want to play a self-sufficient offlane Mars. With this builds, you do not rely on your cores to deal damage in the team fight. It also allows you to take teamfights alone and even neutralize multiple enemies all by yourself.

  • Level 2: Spear of Mars - Can be used to lock down enemies to a nearby tree, works extremely well if your team has chain stun and follow-up potential.
  • Level 3: God’s Rebuke
  • Level 4: Spear of Mars
  • Level 5: God’s Rebuke
  • Level 6: Arena of Blood - This big-ticket ultimate traps enemies inside an arena, making them take damage if they are near the edges, and also pushes them back. It can be used in tandem with other damage dealing or lockdown spells, demanding excellent synergy from your team.
  • Level 7: Spear of Mars
  • Level 8: God’s Rebuke
  • Level 9: Spear of Mars
  • Level 10: Bulwark - Blocks damage dealt to him from the front or the sides by up to 70% on level 4. It can be further upgraded with Aghanim’s Scepter, which deals physical damage when Bulwark is toggled on.
  • Level 11: Bulwark
  • Level 12: Arena of Blood

Items to buy for this build (Early to Late Game)

  • Bracer - Bought at around 3 minutes into the game, Ammar prefers to buy 3 Bracers, which provide him with increased HP along with magic immunity as well as increased strength attributes. This gives him a great HP boost along with increasing his lane survivability.
  • Soul Ring - Bought at around 5 minutes. This item provides mana for the cost of a small percentage of your max HP. This can solve all the mana problems that Mars has in the early game. This also allows him to get more spells off in fights.
  • Phase Boots - Bought at 9 minutes. Phase Boots offer high movement speed along with increased armor as well as physical damage. The item also allows him to phase through enemies when activated, making it easy to escape or initiate fights without getting his body blocked.
  • Black King Bar - Bought at 17 minutes. Provides magic immunity, making him invulnerable as he is initiating. It is essential in most matchups.
  • Aghanim’s Scepter - Bought at 26 minutes. This is more of a situational item but Ammar builds it as it deals physical damage when Bulwark is toggled. It can be useful in situations where your team is lacking behind and you as an offlaner have to carry the weight by dealing physical damage.
  • Blink Dagger - Bought at 32 minutes. Blink Dagger is almost always an early pickup as it allows you to initiate. Ammar chose to build items that allow him to fight as his team had enough initiation. Blink can be used in tandem with the Arena.
  • Satanic - Bought at 37 minutes. Satanic allows Mars to lifesteal and sustain himself in teamfights. This item also dispels any negative buffs as well as quickly healing him from 0 to 100 in no time.
  • Daedalus - Bought at 45 minutes. Daedalus allows Mars to deal critical damage. This high damage allows Mars to be a devastating hard hitter, as he can also solo kill and does not always need the follow-up from his team due to the items he has built earlier.

What is Lorem Ipsum? It's time for them to learn their place. Reina storms the King of Iron Fist Tournament in #TEKKEN8  Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.     Why do we use it?It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).Where does it come from?Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.Where can I get some? There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised
