What are the rarest emotes in Fortnite?
Fortnite has been loved and adored for many things in the gaming world. The new building mechanic, hundreds of different skins but the thing everyone loves in Fortnite are the various emotes.
This 3rd person battle royale has always been on top of its game when it came to emotes. They got an allowance from big licensed artists to use their songs or dance moves to ensure the emote market keeps rumbling.
The team which handled the creativity of emotes outdid themselves as emotes never stopped coming in the rotating item shop and the seasonal battlepass. Fortnite even added emotes in the free pass so players who didn’t buy the battlepass had something to work with in the pre-game lobby.
I’ll show you some of the rarest, best emotes in Fortnite that you should be proud of having in your locker.
15. The dip
Emote display
This emote was initially very OP in fights as players could use it to lay low in a fight to dodge shots. A player even showed how to use it to your advantage in a fight.
How to get it:
- It was a part of the icon series event and could be purchased for free.
14. Slow clap
Emote display
This emote works as a two-way knife. It is good to either appreciate someone’s gameplay or mock them for doing something dumb and there is no in-between.
How to get it:
- Purchasable from the Item shop for 200 V-Bucks.
13. Gentleman’s dab
Emote display
This is a very posh emote that you could use to show your thanks for someone’s appreciation. The animation of this emote is neat too.
How to get it:
- Could be obtained from the Season 5 Free Pass.
12. Face palm
Emote display
This is a good emote to have when you’re playing with your friend that tends to do dumb stuff in the game. It conveys your disappointment in the choice of friends you have.
How to get it:
- Purchasable from the Item shop for 200 V-Bucks.
11. T pose
Emote display
T pose is one of the most iconic emotes in Fortnite. Lazerbeam and MrFreshAsian made it so famous that every player had to have this. In theory this emote is just a player standing with arms wide open, but in reality, it has a lot of history related to it.
How to get it:
- Purchasable from the Item shop for 200 V-Bucks.
10. Boing
Emote display
Boing is an epic rarity, traversal emote. You can bounce on your way to victory with it and it looks neat while you move.
How to get it:
- Can be obtained from Chapter 2: Season 1 Battle Pass.
9. Fancy footwork
Emote display
This emote was brought back recently to match the ongoing FIFA 2022 World cup. The emote does display some sick footwork as the player juggles and moves the ball around them effortlessly.
How to get it:
- Purchasable from the Item shop for 500 V-Bucks.
8. Rage quit
Emote display
Rage quit shows about 90% of the player base after they get boxed like a fish and get their career destroyed by a kid high on caffeine. The emote shows realistic frustration and let’s be honest, it does get kind of bad at times.
How to get it:
- Purchasable from the Item shop for 200 V-Bucks.
7. Dip
Emote display
This is one of my favorite emotes just on the basis of the smoothness of the move. The player does hit that dip a bit too well and you just can’t hate it.
How to get it:
- Purchasable from the Item shop for 200 V-Bucks.
6. Calculated
Emote display
This is one of the pettiest and best emotes you can have in your locker choices. It feels so good to rub it in your opponent’s face when they spectate you after you outplay them. Feels like vengeance served on a cold plate.
How to get it:
- Could be obtained from the Season 5 Free Pass.
5. Rasenshuriken
Emote display
You can bet I had a field day when I saw this in the game because I love Naruto so much. This is a cool emote you can use to show off your nerdy side in the game.
How to get it:
- Purchasable from the Item shop for 400 V-Bucks.
4. Boosting Ki
Emote display
This is another anime-based emote featuring the famous powering-up move Goku did in Dragon Ball. This is a very cool emote as well to hype you and your squad up before a game or fight.
How to get it:
- Can be obtained as a reward from the Dragon Ball Power Unleashed event.
3. Take the elf
Emote display
This is the most toxic emote, standing beside take the L and the donkey laugh. I’d suggest only using this against someone already being toxic. Because with great toxicity, comes great responsibility. So only use this wisely on toxic people, not on some single dad of two kids who probably had a hard day at work and wants to chill in Fortnite.
How to get it:
- Was obtained as a reward from the 14 Days Of Fortnite Challenges back in December 2018.
2. Lunch break
Emote display
This emote was originally introduced alongside Lazerbeam’s icon set. It’s a cool little emote where the player eats his food after a hard day of catching victories in the battle royale.
How to get it:
- Purchasable from the Item shop for 300 V-Bucks.
1. Jubilation
Emote display
This is one of the most OG emotes introduced way back in the day in season 3. Everyone was learning the game, John Wicks were a menace to the casual players and the pre-game lobby was filled with people doing jubilation in groups together. Good old days.
How to get it:
- Purchasable from the Item shop for 200 V-Bucks.
