There are a total of 5 Electro characters in Genshin Impact and everyone has different weapons except for Razor and Beidou with their Claymores. Lisa has her Catalyst, Fischl with her Bow, and Keqing with her Sword.
For damage, Electro is another good choice for you to use. Much like the other elements, it reacts with everything but Dendro. Personally, my favorite Elemental Reaction is to combine Electro with Hydro to trigger Electro-Charged, this allows you to electrode multiple opponents at once for a period of time as long as they’re Wet.
A note here, I’m not really going to cover about their Physical DPS and I'm mainly going to talk about their Electro related skills. With only 5 characters, here goes the ranking of the Electro characters in Genshin Impact.
5. Lisa
Image
On number 5 is Lisa, the Electro Catalyst that we get for free after finishing the Sparks Amongst the Pages quest. Supposedly, she’s the first Electro you have in your team.
Lisa isn’t…bad, even speaking about her as a character and not a free one. Shining the most as a sub DPS, Lisa literally only has a CD of 1 second when you press her Elemental Skill (and 16 seconds on hold). That’s great if you want to spam Electro DMG, isn’t it?
Plus, her Elemental Burst launches enemies whilst dealing Electro DMG, continuously shocking them with Electro element for 15 seconds.
Why Lisa Is Great:
- She’s free
- Elemental Skill press CD is 1 second
- Elemental Burst encourages Elemental Reaction with other characters
4. Beidou
Image
Next is Beidou, the captain of the Crux who bears a Claymore. Her best role is as a sub DPS and here’s why.
Through her Elemental Skill, Beidou summons lightning to slash her enemies forward with Electro DMG. Holding this skill will allow Beidou to create a Shield with her weapon, which DMG Absorption is scaled off her Max HP. During this, she continues to deal Electro DMGequals to the number of times she’s attacked with the Shield on.
With her Ascension 1, counter attacking with her Elemental Skill at the precise moment when the character is hit grants the maximum DMG Bonus. Plus, her Ascension 4 increases DMG done by Normal and Charged ATK and the ATK SPD by 15% for 10 seconds after unleashing her Elemental Skill with the maximum DMG Bonus.
Why Beidou Is Great:
- Her Skills and Attacks buff each other
- Able to parry with her Elemental Skill
- Shield is scaled off her HP
- Passive Skills buff not only Elementa Skill but also Normal and Charged ATK along with its SPD.
3. Razor
Image
Coming up next is Razor, one of the few four-starred characters who shines the best as a main DPS. With his Claymore and Electro vision, he’s definitely not a bad choice for a main DPS.
Razor is great for many reasons, but what I like the most about him is the way his Elemental Skill complements his Elemental Burst. Striking enemies with his Elemental Skill will give Razor an Electro Sigil (up to 3), which increases his Energy Recharge.
His Elemental Burst is probably his strongest point, though, summoning his Wolf that accompanies him fight whilst dealing both Physical and Electro DMG together. During this, his ATK SPD and Electro RES are increased and Razor is immune to DMG by Electro-Charged. Unfortunately, the Wolf doesn’t carry on if he’s switched out.
Why Razor Is Great:
- Elemental Skill CD is pretty short 6 seconds on press and 10 on hold
- Elemental Skill able to increase his Energy Recharge
- Elemental Burst deals both Physical and Electro DMG
- Elemental Burst boosts his ATK SPD
- Ascension 1 decreases Elemental Skill CD by 18% and activating Elemental Burst will reset Elemental Skill CD
2. Fischl
Image
On number 2 is Fischl, which isn’t all that surprising. Along with Bennett and Xingqiu, Fischl is one of the most favorite four-starred sub DPS characters.
With Oz on her side, Fischl is pretty much an invincible sub DPS if you’re into Electro-related Elemental Reaction. Activating her Elemental Skill will summon Oz to the battlefield and he will continuously deal Electro DMG in a small AoE for 10 seconds even when Fischl is switched out.
On another note, her Elemental Burst turns Fischl into Oz for a short period of time, inflicting Electro DMG to enemies in her path until she reaches her destination. Once she’s back to her form, Oz stays in the field to attack.
Why Fischl Is Great:
- Oz stays to inflict Electro DMG even when Fischl is switched out
- Oz attacks in a small AoE for 10 seconds
- Elemental Burst helps Fischl to get way from enemies for a moment through Oz
- If Oz is already at the field when Elemental Burst is activated, Elemental Skill CD is reset.
- Ascension 4 can call forth Thundering Retribution that deals Electro DMG equal to 80% of her DMG when triggering an Electro-related Elemental Reaction with Oz on the field
1. Keqing
Image
On number 1 is Keqing, the only five-starred Electro character in Genshin Impact. Arguably, she’s also one of the fastest main DPS with her rapid strikes attack.
To start off, her Elemental Skill hurls a Lightning Stiletto that strikes her enemies with thunder. Once it hits the target, it will deal Electro DMG in a small AoE, the direction of the Stiletto can be adjusted through Hold, which is also able to be suspended mid-air.
Using Charged Attack during its duration will let Keqing summons thunder to where the Mark’s at whilst dealing AoE Electro DMG.
Her Elemental DMG deals a wide AoE Electro DMG. Keqing blends into the shadow of her blade and strikes a series of thunders to nearby enemies simultaneously that deal multiple Electro DMG, this attack ends with a massive AoE Electro DMG.
Why Keqing Is Great:
- Elemental Skill lets Keqing teleport
- Elemental Skill can deal AoE Electro DMG even from mid-air
- Elemental Burst deals multiple Electro DMG at once and then ends with a wide AoE Electro DMG as a finish
- Ascension 1 turns her Normal and Charged Attacks to Electro DMG if she recasts her Elemental Skill within 5 seconds while a Lightning Stiletto is present
- Ascension 4 increases her CRIT Rate and Energy Recharge by 15% when her Elemental Burst is activated for 8 seconds.
