There are several ways to farm experience books in Teyvat, especially when you’re starting your journey and you have regions to explore. 5. General World Exploration

(Start at minute 3:55)

This comes easy when you’re new in the game, as you may have noticed, the current regions of Mondstadt, Liyue and Inazuma are crammed with treasure chests from normal to luxurious, challenges, world quests and so on, all of these will reward you with mora, primogems and of course, experience books. 

Although it’s hard to calculate how much you can farm with only world exploration, you can be sure you’ll have enough to level up and ascend plenty of your characters.

How does it work?

• You have to explore each zone of every region and interact with every chest, challenge or world quest you see.
• There are also a lot of mechanisms and puzzles in the regions available that will reward you with chests once you complete them.
• Use the map and zoom out to see the percentage you have for each zone you’ve explored, this percentage represents the amount of chests you’ve opened in that location of that specific region.

3. Completing the Spiral Abyss

The Abyss is an “easy” way to farm experience, besides the experience books, you also get many moras and primogems. Although the first 8 floors can be done once, getting the rewards yet again, once. The second part (the hardest of course), will give you a bit less rewards, but the good thing is that you can repeat these floors every 15 days and get those primogems, mora and experience.

How does it work?

• First you have to unlock the Musk Reef in Mondstadt.
• Once you enter The Abyss, in each chamber you will encounter different enemies, because of this you have to be aware of what characters you should use for every situation.
• Completing each chamber will get you the rewards, completing the 8 first chambers will unlock you the second part of The Spiral Abyss.

2. The Serenitea Pot

This is a realm that you can access by completing the quest of Madame Ping after finishing the Archon quest that takes place in Liyue. 

The serenitea pot has an inner store where you can buy blueprints to craft all kinds of items to decorate the place. But the store also allows you to exchange the currency you accumulate for other items such as mora, experience books, and even weak resin.

How does it work?

• When you get to the right Trust Rank in the Serenitea Pot, you can unlock the part of the store where you can buy up to 20 Hero’s Wit (Purple Experience Books) each week.

1. Ley Line Blossoms

(Start at minute 5:50)

These are the easiest way since you start your early adventure ranks to obtain Experience books. You can farm these ley line blossoms each day for the cost of 20 points of resin or 1 concentrated resin. 

The amount of experience books will vary whether you use normal resin or concentrated, still there will be generous amounts. Plus, you will gain Hero’s Wit, Adventurer’s Experience, or Wanderer’s Advice depending on your adventure rank.

How does it work?

Use the map to guide you towards the Ley Line, after completing the challenge, you exchange your resin for the rewards.

After completing the challenge and claiming the experience, you can move on to the next Ley Line, and so on.
