Furina is Fontaine’s most beloved star, as she is the absolute focus of the stage of judgment, until the final applause. You should consider yourself lucky if you are able to schedule an appointment with her, just be sure to maintain the proper etiquette when attending her tea parties or else you’ll suffer the wrath of the one and only Hydro Archon.
As a Hydro unit, she is slotted as a support and/or a sub-DPS. Her charged attack is replaced to act as a switch to toggle between these two play styles while also making her the only Fontainian character that can use both Arkhe (Ousia & Pneuma) types. In the Ousia form she summons her Salon Solitaire to dish out damage (just mind your HP) and Pneuma form summons a Singer of Many Waters that heals any in a certain range.
Furina’s strengths:
- Her entire kit scales off of her HP, which is one of the easiest stats to build for.
- Singer of Many Waters provides a decently consistent heals in a very wide range.
- Salon Solitaire units can deal out a lot of damage to a single target.
- Let the People Rejoice provides a substantial ATK buff that increases as your team's HP fluctuates.
- Endless Waltz passive allows for any healing from another healer unit to overflow to non-active units, when your active character’s HP is full.
- Unheard Confession allows every 1,000 points of HP buffs her skill, increasing the damage of Salon Solitaire or heal output of the Singer of Many Waters.
- When diving in Fonataine’s waters, her passive The Sea Is My Stage, decreases the cooldown of Xenochromatic Fontemer Aberrant by 30%.
- While her elemental skill is active, she can walk on any water surface.
- Has adorable idle animations.
- Is the only Arkhe character who can change her alignment.
5. Newbie Friendly: Let the People Rejoice
This build focuses on weapons and artifacts that can be obtained early on in the game, it will work for a good minute. Just ensure that after you unlock the Fontaine region, in chapter 4, you start farming for the Golden Troupe artifact set. Be sure you focus on her HP stat, as that is what her power scales off of.
Furina doesn't perform best without a dedicated healer on the team. Barbara is not only a great healer but having her on the team with Furina triggers the double Hydro renaissance effect, which increases your team's overall HP stat.

This is a good 4-star team comp for Furina. This provides a shield and heal from Noelle. Ningguang is a good DPS/sub-DPS unit and Gorou is a decent battery. The three Geo units help buff each other while supporting Furina. This Furina build focuses on keeping team synergy while boosting her passive and stats.

While you need a healing unit it is best to have one of the Hydro healers like Barbara or Kokomi to provide the Hydro renaissance effect. If you’d rather an Anemo or Electro healer, then be sure to have a Hydro sub-DPS or support to keep the renaissance effect.

1. HP-Drain
As the source of her damage comes from her Elemental Skill, Golden Troupe with HP and CRIT stats is the best build for Furina. This maximizes the damage of her Elemental Skill as long as you keep her in her Ousia form. Have a strong party healer to counteract the HP drain her Ousia form requires. You can always switch to Pneuma form in a pinch, although it removes her off-field DMG.
