Kokomi trusts him to lead the Watatsumi Army as its primary general, being sincere, determined and courageous. He has a strong sense of camaraderie and gets along well with all of the soldiers under his command.

In the heat of battle, Kokomi remarks that Gorou tends to have a habit of letting the adrenaline rush to his head, often requiring someone to keep him in check when he heads to the battlefield.

3. Archaic Petra

Archaic Petra is an Artifact Set available at 4-star and 5-star rarities which can be obtained from Domain of Guyun.

Its 2-Piece Bonus increases Geo DMG by 15% and its 4-Piece Bonus, when you obtain an Elemental Shard created through a Crystallize Reaction, all party members gain a 35% DMG Bonus for that particular element.

Reasons to use this set:

• Since Gorou iis a Geo character, he will crystallize everytime he does DMG, so he’ll have a shield all the time and gain that 35% DMG (which will be Geo DMG, so it’ll be a total of 50%).
• Even if you don’t crystalize with Gorou and considering his passives, you’ll probably use another Geo in your team and they’ll have a shield, so you’ll get that bonus anyways.
• The best bow for this set is the Elegy of the End, a 5-star bow that can be obtained from wishes and its second stat is ER. This bow increases EM by 60 and gains stacks when Gorou uses Elemental Skill or Burst, increasing EM by 100 and ATK by 20%.

Noblesse Oblige is an Artifact Set that can be obtained from Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern. Its 2-Piece Bonus increases Elemental Burst DMG by 20% and its 4-Piece Bonus increases all party members’ ATK when you use an Elemental Burst.

Reasons to use this set:

• Even if you don’t have Geo DMG in the set, you can obtain it from the Goblet. With this set, his Elemental Burst will deal all of the DMG.
• Gorou’s DMG increases with his DEF, so he’ll do a lot of DMG anyways if you go for that as sub-stats and main stats in your objects.
• The Thundering Pulse is the best weapon for this build.

Husk of Opulent Dreams is an Artifact Set available at 4-star and 5-star rarities which can be obtained from Slumbering Court.

Its 2-Piece Bonus increases DEF by 30% and its 4-Piece Bonus increases DEF by 6% and Geo DMG by 6%.

Reasons to use this set:

• Gorou’s DMG increases with his DEF, and since this set provides him with DEF, he’ll gain DMG from everywhere.
• This set also increases his Geo DMG, which he deals with his Elemental Skill and his Elemental Burst.
• Favonious Warbow is the perfect weapon for this set. This 4-star bow has Energy Recharge as its second stat and CRIT has a 60% chance to generate Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character every 12s.
