Does your card text read, "Discover a Dragon"? It should.

S TIER - This tier is the highest win rate*. Paladin has the ability to draft a fast aggressive deck with strong mid to late game options.
- Paladin: 98/100
A TIER - Coming up second, but not by much, these classes are a solid second choice.
- Druid: 95/100
- Hunter: 93/100
B TIER - The win rate* starts to fall off steeper here with declines of five to ten percent. These classes hold the middle of the pack. The main difference from here
on is a lack of good dragon synergy. Dragons are strong right now.
- Warrior: 89/100
- Mage: 85/100
- Rogue: 80/100
C TIER - We’re getting into choose at your own risk territory. These classes have been consistently underperforming.
- Warlock: 77/100
- Shaman: 74/100
D TIER - Last and least, Priest has the lowest win rate*. Descent of Dragons didn’t help priest in the arena at all.
- Priest: 69/100

1.Paladin (S TIER)
Paladin has been on top of the arena for a while. Descent of Dragons brings even more dragon synergy to Paladin. One of Paladins strengths is the ability to draft aggressive, or control, depending on what is offered to you.
- Discover dragon mechanics are very strong right now. Bronze Explorer
- True and tested four cost class commons like Truesilver Champion still get the job done.
- Lots of strong dragon synergies seem a bit overpowered. Sand Breath
Paladin Overall Power Rating: 98/100
2.Druid (A TIER)
Ever since Ultimate Infestation Druid has been strong. The newest expansion added very strong stand-alone cards and dragon synergies making Druid a top choice for the arena.
- Grab a couple of neutral dragons and as many Emerald Explorers as you can for a free trip to value town
- The discover mechanic can give you very strong legendary dragons that you usually wouldn't see in an arena draft.
- Embiggen alone can carry your run
Druid Overall Power Rating: 95/100
3. Hunter (A TIER)
Midrange Hunter has often been one of the best archetypes for Hunter in constructed. Descent of dragons has given hunter value tools that make it really shine in the arena.
- The one thing all the top three classes have in common is a class card that discovers a dragon. Primordial Explorer
- Stormhammer generates ridiculous value, allowing you to use your health as a resource.
- Dwarven Sharpshooter, Great one drop, and a good ping later on if you don’t draw it until late game.
Hunter Overall Power Rating: 93/100
4. Warrior (B TIER)
Warrior used to struggle in the arena. Rastakhan’s Rumble gave Warrior one really strong tool at common rarity. Descent of Dragons buffed it considerably.
- Dragon Roar, The top Warrior arena card. Neutral rarity means you might get a couple of them.
- Evil Quartermaster, A new Descent of Dragons card which quickly became a top pick.
- Sky Raider, Decent on its own but really shines if you can pick up a few good pirates.
Warrior Overall Power Rating: 89/100
5.Mage (B TIER)
Mage used to be the leader of the arena even considered too easy by popular streamers. Minions have more health now so flame strike isn’t the cure-all anymore. Here are some of Mages better tools.
- Azure Explorer, The strong discover a dragon mechanic makes this one of the top choices for Mage.
- Arcane Breath, Ok removal, with a touch of value
- Firelands Portal Still one of mages best tools in the arena
Mage Overall Power Rating: 85/100
6.Rogue (B TIER)
Rogue has good single target removal. Unfortunately going one for one isn’t good enough anymore.
- Walk the Plank, Great removal, especially against divine shield
- SI:7 Agent, Rogues classic go-to card, still one of the best
- Bloodsail Flybooter, A key card to push the tempo and go for a quick win, pair it with:
- Plaguebringer to get through big taunts and push for the win
Rogue Overall Power Rating: 80/100
7.Warlock (C TIER)
Warlock was on top for a bit but has usually been a middle choice for the arena. Even though it has the strongest hero power, the other classes got better cards from Descent of Dragons. If you do pick Warlock here are some good cards to pick.
- Crazed Netherwing, This card provides board clear with a body but also damages you and your minions.
- Nether Breath, Potentially one of the best new cards for Warlock in the arena. The lifesteal fuels your hero power.
- Demonbolt, Provides a large tempo swing if discounted enough
Warlock Overall Power Rating: 77/100
8. Shaman (C TIER)
The Shaman hero power is lackluster in the arena. The new Descent of Dragons cards that Shaman got promote overload synergy, which has never been good. If you play Shaman here are some of the better cards to draft.
- Lightning Breath, If you have enough good neutral dragons this is a strong inclusion.
- Squallhunter, Pair this with AoE for a good board clear
- Cumulo-Maximus, Save your cheap overload spells for this for a one-two combo
Shaman Overall Power Rating: 74/100
9. Priest (D TIER)
Priest did not get any love in the arena this expansion, besides a few AoE’s. The Priest hero power can generate card advantage but the tempo loss is too much in the current meta. Here are a few good cards to draft as Priest.
- Chronobreaker, This is the best new priest card, AoE with a solid body
- Breath of the Infinite, Not as good as Chronobreaker but it can help you stabilize if you fall behind early.
- Priest has some old dragon synergy class cards. Consider picking up Twilight Whelp and Wyrmrest Agent
Priest Overall Power Rating: 69/100
Each new expansion can really mix up the arena, but as of now, Paladin still reigns supreme. I hope this list helps you go infinite.
