1) Cyberpunk DLC (Free!)

One of the two DLCs that come free with House Flipper is the Cyberpunk DLC. This DLC adds plenty of futuristic items and apartments.

It’s hard to complain about a DLC that’s free. Personally, I just don’t find myself using the items that come in this style. The apartments that also come with this pack are fine, but they feel too small to really do too much with compared to apartments in other DLCs.

What do you get with the Cyberpunk DLC?:

  • New apartment that has a unique alley entrance
  • A robotic skin for the player’s appearance
  • 70 new items

DLC rating: 60/100

2) Apocalypse DLC (Free!)

The second free DLC that comes with your purchase is the Apocalypse DLC. This DLC adds a survival aspect to House Flipper. Adding bunkers and buyers who are fearful of an impending apocalypse.

One of my favorite parts about this DLC is the addition of the flamethrower, because really, what game is complete without one? This tool makes removing trash, furniture, and mowing the lawn a lot easier. I find the whole concept of building your own bunker really fun. The biggest issue I have with this DLC is that I don’t find myself using any of the items it adds unless I’m actually renovating one of the bunker houses.

What do you get with the Apocalypse DLC?:

  • The flamethrower tool
  • Six new houses and bunkers
  • Three new buyers
  • Forty new items

DLC rating: 75/100

3) HGTV DLC ($9.99)

The HGTV DLC is based on the show on HGTV and adds new features to House Flipper. The main focus of this DLC is to renovate houses within a given budget for your buyers.

The best part of this DLC is the sheer number of items added to the game. Over four hundred items in one DLC are fantastic. I also really like the before and after feature that was added. It really lets you see how drastic the change is after you finish renovating a house. But with all the good comes some bad. The before/after feature tends not to work if you build new walls and chang the floor plan of the house, which is disappointing. I also don’t enjoy the new jobs that have random issues like pipes bursting.

What do you get with the HGTV DLC?:

  • Over four hundred new items
  • 10 new houses and jobs
  • before/after feature
  • Beach location

DLC rating: 75/100

4) Luxury DLC ($14.99)

If you’re a fan of more extravagant houses and apartments, then the Luxury DLC will be perfect for you. This DLC adds new mechanics to fix antique furniture, new houses and apartments, and the Moonrise Bay location.

In my opinion, the best part of the Luxury DLC is the houses available for renovation. There is a good variety in the sizes of the houses and apartments. This gives players lots of room to play with and experiment with new ideas. One of the few issues I have with this DLC isn’t a very big issue. Many of the houses have tall ceilings, which are annoying to paint since you’ll need to use scaffolding. This becomes time consuming. Many of these houses and apartments also don’t have room to garden if you have that DLC, which means you won’t make as much money as some other properties. While I enjoy this DLC, it’s nothing to write home about.

What comes with the Luxury DLC?:

  • Furniture restoration mechanic
  • Fifteen new houses and apartments
  • New furniture
  • New Moonrise Bay location

DLC rating: 85/100

5) Garden DLC ($14.99)

One of the best DLCs to improve the curb appeal of your house is the Garden DLC. Adding a variety of plants, furniture, and paths, as well as a garden contest, will increase the selling price of your house.

Since the Garden DLC was the first DLC I paid for, it holds a special place in my heart. I love being able to add some life to the exterior of the house, and it makes the game feel more true to life. Because who doesn’t have at least some sort of decoration outside of their house? One of my favorite parts of this DLC is the way you can make more money by taking part in the garden contest. On the other hand, this DLC can’t be used on all houses since there are apartments or houses that don’t have lawn space to properly garden.

What comes with the Garden DLC?:

  • Eighteen new jobs
  • Three new houses
  • More than six hundred new items
  • Eight new mechanics

DLC rating: 90/100

6) Pets DLC ($14.99)

One of the most recent DLCs added to House Flipper was the adorable Pets DLC. Which adds pets, houses, jobs, furniture, and a new location.

Who doesn’t love animals? I love that this DLC has variety with the pets you can adopt, from birds to tarantulas. You can also interact with your pets to give them treats or play with them! Aside from just being cute, dogs are able to help out during renovations by moving paint cans.

What comes with the Pets DLC?:

  • Thirteen dog and cat breeds
  • Rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, tarantulas, turtles, iguanas, dogs, and cats
  • More than eight hundred new items
  • Eleven new jobs and houses
  • New countryside location

DLC rating: 95/100

7) Farm DLC ($14.99)

The newest DLC to come to House Flipper is the Farm DLC. Introducing new animals, farming, and even the ability to completely build your own house!

I was very excited to see the Farm Flipper DLC as a fan of both animals and farming games. The first house available in the game is spacious and unique, with a cave in the backyard and a gorgeous view. The part that I find most exciting about this DLC is the house building and expansion features, which include being able to build your own balcony. This DLC has me excited to plunge headfirst into House Flipper again and really sink some more hours into the game.

What comes with the Farm DLC?:

  • Pigs, sheep, chickens, cows, goats, horses, and alpacas added to the game
  • Farming mechanics
  • House extension mechanic
  • House building mechanic
  • Custom roof mechanic
  • 10 new jobs
  • 9 new houses
  • Over 1,500 new items

DLC rating: 98/100
