Pamphlets in Red Dead Online are used to unlock new crafting recipes. They are either purchased from Fences, earned as level-up rewards, or looted from enemies or chests, etc in free roam and each has a rank/role requirement as well. After obtaining a pamphlet, it must be read before the recipe is available for use. Some pamphlets may very rarely be found in treasures.
10. Special Horse Reviver

Unlock level: 46
This one can be used to revive your horse instantly if it dies somehow. It doesn’t happen very happen but it’s safe to have one of these in your satchel.

- 2x Alaskan Ginseng or American Ginseng
- 2x Wild Carrot
- 2x Parasol Mushroom
9. Small Game Arrow
Price: $350
Unlock level: 22
Small game arrows are needed to hunt small animals and birds. You can use the Varmint rifle but should you need a stealthy approach, this is the one you‘ll use.

- 1x Arrow
- 1x Flight Feather
- 1x Regular Shotgun Shell
8. Toxic Moonshine
Price: $500
Unlock level: Moonshiner rank 5
It creates a cloud of toxic fumes on impact, choking and disorienting enemies. While the toxic moonshine bottle isn't initially lethal, a character can choke to death on the fumes.

- 1x Oleander Sage
- 1x Milkweed or Yarrow
- 1x Moonshine Bottle
7. Poison Throwing Knife
Price: $420
Unlock level: 45
You can use a throwing knife to craft this at a campfire. A poison throwing knife will poison your enemies and they’ll lose hp over time.

- 1x Oleander Sage
6. Poison Arrow
Price: $435
Unlock level: 57
Poison Arrows will poison your enemies and they’ll lose hp over time. The poison arrows also deal more damage than regular arrows. It has a +0.2 damage buff.

- 1x Arrow
- 1x Flight Feather
- 1x Oleander Sage
5. Fire Arrow
Price: $700
Unlock level: 60
These bad boys set fire to the target and their surroundings. These are very helpful to deal with a large group of enemies. Poison arrows have a +0.8 damage buff.

- 1x Flight Feather
4. Explosive Slug
Price: $950
Unlock level: 84
These are the best shotgun shells in the game. They have massive buffs in every respect. Explosive slugs have a +1.0 damage buff, a +0.2 range buff, and a +0.8 accuracy buff.

3. Dynamite Arrow
Price: $895
Unlock level: 93
The name says it all in this case. These are arrows that cause a boom. You’ll find this pamphlet at Wapiti Indian Reservation. These arrows have a +1.6 damage buff which is the highest in the game.

- 1x Flight Feather
2. Split Point
Price: $385
Unlock level: 28
This is one of the best ammo types. They drain your dead eye slower when in the chamber. They have huge buffs, too. Split points have a +0.2 damage buff and a +0.5 accuracy buff. Yes, they are the most accurate among bullets.

1. Express Explosive
Price: $1000
Unlock level: 90
This is the most sought-after ammo type in the game. This ammo type can be used in revolvers, pistols, repeaters, and rifles. They have a +1.0 damage buff which is the highest for the mentioned weapon types.
