The M3 might not seem that special, but when it’s fully upgraded, it will help cut down Majini and knock back some of the sub-bosses like the Giant Majini.

#1 Hydra

The Hydra is only available for purchase in the game store after fully upgrading the Ithaca M37. This shotgun is by far the best in the game. Some stats may not reflect that, but you will see how it’s the best after using this in the game. Keep in mind; this shotgun is handled differently by Chris than Sheva. The Hydra is best suited for Chris, as he can hold it with one hand in an optimal position for kill shots with it. Sheva holds the Hydra around her waist area, making it less effective for her to use. The Hydra is the best weapon against the Reapers you will encounter in the game. The three-barrel bullet spread this shotgun will ensure that you hit the Reaper’s weak spot for an easier takedown.

• Best weapon overall against Reapers
• It has an attack range of 15 when upgraded
• Best in the hands of Chris for easy one-shot kills
