What Are The Best Weapons in Shadow of The Tomb Raider?
There’s only one way to brave the Peruvian jungle and survive Trinity's descent into madness. Weapons - and lots of them. I have compiled a list of the Top 10 weapons in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Without further ado, let's get started.
10. RECURVE BOW
- A bow that delivers energy more efficiently, giving a greater amount of energy and speed to arrows.
- How To Get It: Obtained by playing through the Main Story. This is the first weapon you’ll find in the game.
- While it is a very basic weapon, Lara has carried this bad boy around since her arrival on Yamatai all those years ago. Don’t be fooled, this baby packs a punch.

9. AB.45

- A well-balanced pistol, good for all kinds of situations.
- How To Get It: Obtained by playing through the Main Story.
- I found myself using the AB.45 a lot throughout the campaign. Step One: Attach a silencer & fully upgrade its accuracy.Step Two: Watch your victims’ bodies collapse all around you.

8. Bishop 600

- Standard issue pump-action shotgun.Balanced and reliable in any situation.
- How To Get It: Obtained by playing through the Main Story.
- I just kinda like the feel of this weapon. It’s a great all-rounder but there’s something so raw about the way it handles. Pump up and enjoy.

7. WHWS-16

- Make big holes, faster! This powerhouse military shotgun deals punishing high-speed damage.
- How To Get It: Obtained through a merchant in the Mission of San Juan for 5,800 gold.
- If you’re in the market for a shotgun that’s as fast the speed of sound (slight exaggeration) then your prayers have been answered. The rate of fire on the WHWS-16 is among the fastest I have ever experienced. Speed run anyone?

6. Serpentwood Bow
- An ancient short bow, crafted from the heartwood of an Ipe tree.
- How To Get It: Obtained through a merchant in The Hidden City for 4200 Gold.
- While the drawback (get it?) is the lack of damage, the Serpentwood bow excels at draw speed and hold time making it an ideal companion for preying on all the unsuspecting fauna of the Peruvian jungle.[Insert an evil laugh here]

5. J & D Model 27
Image
- What this pistol lacks in ammo capacity, it makes up for with its ability to deal incredible damage.
- How To Get It: Obtained through a merchant in Kuwaq Yaku for 4,200 Gold.
- One of my personal favorites. Aside from looking like a badass revolver, the amount of damage this trusty companion deal is enough to blow through three heads… at once.

4. TAEV 16
- Well-Balanced military issue shotgun with plenty of stopping power.
- How To Get It: Obtained through a merchant in The Mission of San Juan for 5,700 Gold.
- The sheer accuracy of this shotgun is enough to warrant a high position. Watch viscera scatter around the battlefield with just one press of the trigger.

3. GF RAL

- Hit’s like a truck… at twenty miles per hour.A low rate of fire.High destructive force.
- How To Get It: Obtained through a merchant in The Hidden City for 4, 200 Gold.
- There’s nothing quite like the GF RAL. One shot feels like it could tear right through 3 jaguars. Its low rate of fire is offset by the sheer damage output this beast provides.

2. Vicar Mark II
- A standard issue assault rifle for Trinity Forces.Balanced and reliable in any climate, or situation.
- How To Get It: Obtained by playing through the Main Story Campaign.
- While it cannot be suppressed, the Vicar Mark II is arguably the best automatic rifle in the game, packing incredible accuracy & stopping power.

1. Viper Bite Bow
Image
- A recurve bow that adds poison damage to loosed arrows.
- How To Get It: Obtained by following The Serpent Path on New Game +.
- Poison arrows were seemingly absent from the game… until now. This awesome bow embodies the phrase:‘One shot, One kill.’
