We all know that the Japanese love to nose dive into the ground for honor and so you can do it as well with their aircraft. You can nose dive straight into the ground objectives or if you run out of ammo you can try to hit someone from behind or slam yourself into a heavy bomber. 

When it comes to their planes they are mostly light aircraft. Because most of them were not expected to return after a mission. They would usually send whole platoons of aircraft to nose dive into the heavy aircraft carriers which most of the time was a successful mission. 

Tier 1 

The best plane: J1N1

This is the most known Japanese aircraft. It’s a fighter aircraft with a twin engine. It’s meant to go fast and shoot fast. This aircraft carries a cannon and two machine guns in its arsenal. Every single weapon has a high firing range and you will run out of ammo quickly.

The second best plane: H8K2

A Japanese heavy bomber that loves to bomb objectives. If you miss your objective by bombing you can always use your aircraft to finish the job. It doesn’t carry a lot of firepowers as a jet bomber should because your point isn’t to fight people it’s to destroy the ground objectives.

Tier 2

The best plane: D4Y3 Ko 

The true dive bomber aircraft. The point of these airplanes is to fly low as possible and drop your bomb. If you run out of bombs you can always use your airplane to do the job correctly. This aircraft excels at ground attack objectives.

The second best plane: Ki-100-II 

You can channel your Qi with this aircraft and enter your zen zone. The battle rating of this aircraft is 3.7 and the max speed it can achieve is 590 km/h. You can go even faster if you decide to kamikaze your way to victory.

Tier 3

The best plane: Ki-61-II Otsu Kai

This fighter aircraft can be used in turn fighting as it excels at that. It’s also great at hunting down people from behind and getting out of a sticky situation quickly. The speed that this demon possess is 625 km/h. It’s quite quick for being in the tier 3 category.

The second best plane: A6M6c 

When this aircraft was made it was stoked with a brand new engine called Sakae 31a. This engine made it so that this aircraft can go 540 km/h. It also comes with a lot of weapons surprisingly. It has 3 machine guns and two cannons.

Tier 4

The best plane: J7W1 Shinden 

This aircraft runs quickly out of ammo but for that, it makes up in speed. It’s equipped with 5 cannons that fire 450 rounds per minute and each cannon only has 250 rounds. Now you do the math and see how long you can last without losing the ammunition in this plane.

The second best plane: G8N1 

The huge Japanese bomber is nothing but terror in the sky. Flying over the objectives will give them a huge shadow before they see the impending doom. I have no idea how this aircraft is even kept up in the air. It can also reach 11 kilometers altitude if needed.

Tier 5

The best plane: F-86F-40 JASDF (Japan)

The Samurai and the Shogun were the best periods of Japan but seeing these aircraft makes up for it. The best warriors in the past were the samurai and the best pilots are the Japs of course. People who love flying this aircraft have all my respect.

The second best plane: Ki-200 

The first Japanese jet fighter that can move at 1 km/h. It was the first of its kind and such a great discovery. This was created years after WW2 ended which you might have guessed but I just want to point that out. Some people don’t know their history.

Tier 6

The best plane: F-104J

This is one of the coolest aircraft from the Japanese faction. It’s long and it’s thin I just love flying this airplane. But sadly I always knock myself out unconscious because of the G force or something. It has something to do with the quantum mechanics of my blood flow.

The second best plane: F-1

This long noodle is a fighter aircraft that surprisingly does not have any weeb stuff placed on it. I wish I could put some Hatsune Miku on my wings and rockets so I can destroy my enemies with the power of love.

Tier 7

The best plane: F-4EJ Kai Phantom II

A direct upgrade from the normal Phantom II. It was equipped with a better engine and more weapons. It’s also gained a lot of speed from its previous version. You can look at this airplane as the better and much stronger brother of the last one. Thankfully you don’t have to spend a lot of money to upgrade it.

And here we are at tier 7. Surprisingly the Japs don’t have a lot of modern aircraft even though they are already living in the future. We are set in the year 2022 while the Japs are in 2050. I mean have you seen their hologram cafes where you can drink tea with your favorite waifu?
