The Cabaret Club Czar side mission in Yakuza 0 has Majima running a cabaret club known as Club Sunshine.

In order for his club to be successful, Majima has to diligently recruit top-tier hostesses to make the customers happy.

Majima will recruit hostesses by either running into them on the street and completing a short sub-story, or by out-performing other clubs in the area and defeating their owners for the territory. Beating another club owner usually allows you to hire their top-tier hostess.

The happier your customers are, the more money you will make, and it’s a great way to have fun while putting some cash in your pockets.

5. Etsuko

Yakuza 0 - Substories: The Obatarian Strikes

While an annoying, older woman is one of the last recruits you would think of when it comes to hiring a hostess for your club, Etsuko turns out to be one of your more solid hostesses.

You will be able to recruit her after sub-story #65: The Obatarian Strikes, in which she rudely cuts line in from of Majima and then causes a huge scene.

After your encounter with Etsuko, she will appear outside of Club Sunshine to inquire about becoming a hostess.

What makes Etsuko great:

  • Her chatty nature makes her excellent at conversation
  • She is a Gold-level hostess, so she is a solid choice even though she doesn’t have high stamina
  • Her sub-story is entertaining

4. Chika

Yakuza 0 #129 Training Chika

Chika is recruited as a hostess once you have defeated Club Venus.

She is a Platinum level hostess, which means you may participate in special training with her in order to boost her skills even further.

Chika’s special training includes a question-and-answer on customer service, playing a game of pool, and singing a couple of karaoke songs together and getting a high score on both.

What makes Chika great:

  • She has a very classy way about her
  • She is well rounded in most areas of conversation
  • She is Platinum level, so she can get special training to make her even better

3. Saki

YAKUZA 0-Club Sunshine Saki Training

Saki is recruited as a Platinum hostess after beating the owner of Club Jupiter.

Her Platinum level entitles her to special training, including questions on customer service, dancing at a disco, and playing a game of pool.

She has high marks at being sexy, beautiful, and funny. She is an excellent addition to your hostess team, as she is very hard-working and loves her job.

What makes Saki great:

  • Her Platinum level means you can improve her skills even more through special training
  • Her high work ethic means she has great stamina, making her a good choice for the cabaret boss battles
  • She is a well-rounded hostess, so she is a good match for most customers

2. Ai

Yakuza 0 #100 Training Ai

You are able to recruit Ai after defeating the owner of Club Mars, where she is a Platinum hostess.

Her Platinum hostess special training includes questions on customer service, dancing together at a disco, and playing a round of pool.

She has a very cheerful and outgoing personality, and she has great conversation skills.

What makes Ai great:

  • Her Platinum level means you can give her special training to improve her skills even more
  • Her cheerful and friendly personality makes a lot of customers happy
  • She is soft-spoken and beautiful, making her popular among your customers, so you will have to time her appearances to avoid over-working her

1. Yuki

Yakuza 0 - "Yuki"

Yuki is the first hostess you will have at Club Sunshine.

While she starts off as shy and soft-spoken, she really becomes an excellent hostess as she is trained more.

Her sweet and demure nature appeals to the older gentlemen, and she is a great conversationalist once she has been trained properly.

Because she is with you for the entirety of the Cabaret Club Czar side mission, you have the opportunity to train her properly, and she is soon promoted to Platinum level hostess.

Her Platinum level training includes questions on customer service, dancing together at the disco, and singing a couple of karaoke songs together.

What makes Yuki great:

  • Her demure personality and girlish style appeal to older gentlemen
  • She is excellent at conversation, and men find her cute and funny
  • She is a great choice for Club boss battles once she has completed her training
