2015 was an amazing year for PC gaming, with game releases that pushed creativity, imagination, and technology to their limits. We’ve seen plenty of unforgettable titles, from well-polished triple A epics to wildly innovative and ambitious indie games.

When it comes down it, which games deserve to go down in history as the best of the best is entirely dependent on you, the gamers. Here, then, is our roundup of the 50 Best PC Games of 2015 Based on User Reviews!

50. Heroes of the Storm

Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm boasts a roster of gaming icons. Kerrigan? Arthas? Diablo? They’re all here, and ready to raise hell. This MOBA also comes with several one-of-a-kind battlegrounds, each offering a secondary objective that drastically affects team strategy. But whether it’s raising a gargantuan undead golem, or summoning the magic of temples to raze the enemy base, you better learn how to work together! Because in Heroes of the Storm, if you want to win, you’ll have to cooperate closely with your allies. One of the best PC games of 2015 – and it’s free!

49. Total War: Attila

Total War: Attila boasts an excellent change of pace from earlier Total War installments. For one, several playable factions are nomadic, meaning they don't start with a capital or province. This gives them a variety of perks, such as greater mobility, which allows them to pillage cities to their heart’s content. Total War: Attila has also been lauded for its accurate portrayal of history. True to the violent, dismal era in which it is set, the game is steeped in an apocalyptic miasma, complete with inclement weather and gloomy lighting.

48. The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited

What could be better than adventuring through the frozen wastes of Skyrim, hunting down mammoths and giants? Or exploring the majestic forests and metropolitan areas of the Imperial Province of Cyrodiil? How about having the entirety of Tamriel as your playground? That’s what MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited offers. This is a land torn asunder by war, so you’ll have to choose your side well. Plunge your blade into the enemy’s heart, or steal into dank dungeons in search of precious treasures. Participate in epic siege battles, or craft the mightiest weapons. This is your story; you play the way you want!

47. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate takes us to Industrial Revolution London. Our heroes? The twin protagonists, Jacob and Evie Frye. Jacob is rash, goofy, and enjoys punching people in the teeth. Evie is tough, serious, and is so good at being stealthy it’s almost like she can bend the shadows to her will. Both of them are equally dangerous – and they need to be, if they’re going to stop the Templar threat that has taken control of London’s seedy underbelly. You’ll meet new friends (such as Charles Darwin, Karl Marx, and Alexander Graham Bell), not to mention you'll be using a lot of new tools! For example, you can now take to the skies with the rope launcher, which acts like Batman’s grappling hook. It definitely makes scaling walls way faster! Burn cobblestones in carriage races, free child workers, hunt down supernatural phenomena, and more in one of the best PC games of 2015!

46. Hard West

The Wild West meets XCOM in the supernatural cowboy showdown, Hard West. When tragedy leaves you and your loved one dead, you find yourself brought back to life thanks to a lust for revenge. In Hard West’s deep, turn-based combat, you control a squad of one to four gunslingers, then execute enemies with an assortment of historically inspired firearms. Kick line-of-sight in the face by exploiting the bullet ricochet system, and employ dozens of other lethal abilities. And as you’ve probably already guessed, this isn’t your daddy’s Western. These savage lands abound in the occult, so expect to deal with demons and mystical powers alongside bandits and assassins. Weird, wild, and a lot of bloody fun, Hard West is one of the best PC games of 2015.
