Evil Geniuses Giving Away 2 AMD Ryzen CPUs

Ryzen 7, Evil Geniuses
AMD's flagship graphics card for 2017

Esports team Evil Geniuses and AMD pair up for giveaway

The elite and unapologetically intense gamers at Evil Geniuses have taken on corporate sponsorship in a recent giveaway. AMD, one of the top producers of graphics cards for gaming rigs worldwide, has teamed up with EG to give away two of the recently released Ryzen 7 1800X graphics cards.

If that sounds like a lot of extra numbers and letters tacked on (which it is), don’t be misled. As part of AMD’s continued effort to evolve alongside the freakishly competitive world of esports gaming, the graphics card giant is touting the Ryzen 7, which was released in March of 2017, as their flagship model.

It comes as no surprise that esports giants Evil Geniuses are backing the giveaway. Having dominated in numerous arenas such as Street Fighter 5, DOTA, and the Call of Duty franchise, Evil Geniuses takes no prisoners and is unapologetic in their self-appointed superiority. The teams are primarily from the United States but feature players from the far off Nordic lands of Denmark and Sweden where the Dragonborn has a summer home.

While competitive gamers such as Evil Geniuses have legitimate reasons for owning such cards, the casual or even semi-hardcore gamer might find it to be a bit much. Regardless, the folks at AMD are encouraging participants to sign up for the giveaway multiple times. This is sure to please gamers based on the $499 price tag attached to the AMD card upon its release in March 2017.

Participants can gather entries by logging onto Twitter or Facebook via the sweepstakes page here (entries are limited to four per person). Participants will be required to follow @AMDGaming on Twitter, visiting AMDGaming on Facebook or by following AMD’s Twitch page to guarantee an entry. Participants can max out their fourth entry by visiting the Evil Genius's page on Facebook.

Two lucky winners will win the coveted AMD Ryzen 7 1800X CPU while another two will receive team jerseys from the folks at Evil Geniuses that will be “customized to their liking.” Check out the sweepstakes here before entries are no longer accepted.
