Are you trying to grind trophies for the Battle Pass? Maybe you're looking for some decks to play with a friend or a clanmate that won't have them hating you.
In 2v2, the most important thing is synergizing with your partner, so if you’re playing with someone you know, try to communicate! While you can sometimes brute force your way, it's much better if your deck has cards that complement whichever deck your partner might have, allowing you to play whatever role is needed!
That aside, let's dive into the top 5 decks to use in Clash Royale's 2v2 mode.

Harmony and chaos!
In a beautiful combination between a Lava Hound beatdown deck, and an Inferno Dragon control deck, this duo is a menace! And unless your opponents have lots of air-targeting troops, you’ll play them like a fiddle.
Combined Stats:
- Attack: 7/10
- Defence: 10/10
- Versatility: 8/10
Tips:
- In this combination, defence is key. You need to play passively to control the pace of the game.
- Don’t overcommit, but don’t waste elixir. Pressure your opponents without spending too much to gain an elixir lead and shred them.
- Double elixir will have you at such an advantage, that you can build an insane push behind one or two Lava Hounds!
4. Lava CC Miner Poison

Twice the havoc!
Yet another double lava hound combo, but this time, we’ve got some (almost) identical decks! The only difference is that Deck A has a Mega Minion to pick out medium troops, while Deck B opts for Inferno Dragon to decimate heavy tanks.
These decks are really fun to play, and won’t give your opponents a chance to breathe when double elixir kicks in!
Combined Stats:
- Attack: 9/10
- Defence: 9/10
- Versatility: 9/10
Tips:
- Build insane pushes behind a Lava Hound to shred your opponents’ hopes and dreams.
- Make sure you have enough elixir to defend, don’t overcommit unless you have an elixir lead!
- For extra laughs, mirror any moves your partner makes on the opposite lane.
3. Magic Archer Bridge Spam

Why spam emotes when you can bridge spam?
The combination of Deck A’s aggression and Deck B’s balanced defensive style makes this duo really fun to play. While these decks are relatively easy to play, they’re difficult to master: Positioning is key!
Combined Stats:
- Attack: 8/10
- Defence: 10/10
- Versatility: 7/10
Features:
- Kite enemy troops with the Battle Rams, and when they charge your opponents’ towers, support them with your other troops.
- Try to drop your Magic Archers so that enemy troops are in their trajectory to the tower to get those beautiful snipe hits.
- Evolved Valkyrie’s mini-tornado ability can help position troops perfectly for those Magic Archer tower snipes!
2. Giant PEKKA Piglets Control

Oh just imagine your opponents’ frustration.
When these decks are lumped together, they become almost unstoppable… As long as you and your partner are in tune with each other and play as a team! Where this combination shines is its defensive capacity, and its ability to control the pace of the game, hence being a control deck.
Combined Stats:
- Attack: 8/10
- Defence: 1010
- Versatility: 10/10
Tips:
- Tune in with your partner!
- Whenever Deck B drops their Pekka to defend, Deck A should help build the counter push.
- Whenever Deck A drops a Giant to build a push, Deck B can slot their Royal Hogs behind the tanky giant.
- Since Deck A doesn’t have any cheap cycle cards, it’s up to Deck B to ensure they can safely collect elixir.
1. Giant Loon Mirror Bait Freeze

The cream of the crop!
A classic carry-support split that’ll continually barrage and frustrate your opponents, while you laugh all the way up the Battle Pass. This combination only works when you and your partner are in sync but when you are… it’s gone time!
Combined Stats:
- Attack: 10/10
- Defence: 9/10
- Versatility: 9/10
Features:
- Deck A should focus on building pushes to bait the opponents’ defence.
- Deck B has a dual role here:
- Supporting Deck A with its arsenal of spells.
- Following up when opponents have taken the bait, launching and cycling a slew of mirrored goblin barrels.
And that’s it!
As a quick note, any of these decks can be used as a standalone deck in 2v2, even if they’re not in the same combo described, so if you’re going into a ‘quick match’ without someone you know, just focus on the synergy!
Enjoy!
