[Top 5] Dead By Daylight Best Feng Min Builds
Feng Min was introduced to Dead by Daylight in the Chapter 4: Spark of Madness DLC, along with the killer The Doctor. Feng Min introduced us to some pretty great and honestly underused perks. Let’s take a look at the best builds we are overlooking with Feng Min’s perks.
5. Skill Checks
SKILLCHECKS! PT. 2 | Dead By Daylight LEGACY SURVIVOR PERK BUILDS
Skill Checks is all about making Skill Checks for yourself easier, and getting some extra progression even without having to hit that cheeky Great Skill Check. If you are struggling with landing those skill checks, I highly advise giving this build a try.
First, we have Stake Out, which gives you a token every 15 seconds you are within the killer’s terror radius without being in a chase. When you are working on a generator and hit a normal skill check you will consume 1 token and it will count as if you hit a great skill check.
Next, we have Feng Min’s teachable perk Technician. If you happen to miss a skill check while doing a generator, Technician will prevent the generator explosion that alerts the killer. Unfortunately, you do still get the normal generator progress depletion, and an extra 3% on top of that. However, you do also get the bonus that reduces your generator repairing noises by 8 meters. Which does come in handy pretty often, because a lot of killers will run by generators looking for sounds of survivors working on them, if they don’t hear anything they sometimes just run past without checking.
Next, we have Spine Chill, which will light up when the killer is looking in your direction, alerting you that they may be on their way. While Spine Chill is active the odds of you getting another skill check increase by 10%, which if you have Stake Out is a fast way to get a little bit extra progression.
Lastly, we have This Is Not Happening, which, while injured, the Great Skill Check zone while repairing, healing, or sabotaging is increased by 30%. Which is a whole lot easier to hit!
What Skill Checks Excels In:
- Makes skill checks easier.
- Missing a skill check doesn’t alert the killer.
- Alerted when the killer is on their way.
- Easier Great Skill Checks
- Faster progression on skill checks
Perks Used:
Stake Out: Every 15 seconds you are standing within the Killer's Terror Radius without being chased, Stake Out gains 1 Token, up to a maximum of 2/3/4 Tokens.
- When Stake Out has at least 1 Token, Good Skill Checks consume 1 Token and are considered Great Skill Checks, granting an additional Progression bonus of 1%.
- Great Skill Checks do not consume any Tokens.
Technician: Failing a Skill Check while repairing:
- Prevents the Generator Explosion.
- Applies the default Regression penalty.
- Applies an additional Regression penalty of 5/4/3%.
- Technician reduces the audible range of your Generator-repairing noises by 8 meters.
Spine Chill: Whenever the Killer is looking in your direction when within 36 meters of you, Spine Chill activates:
- Skill Check Trigger odds are increased by 10%.
- Skill Check Success zones are reduced by 10%.
- Your Action speeds in Repairing, Healing, Sabotaging, Unhooking, Vaulting, Cleansing, Opening, and Unlocking are increased by 2/4/6%.
This Is Not Happening: When injured, the Success zone of Great Skill Checks while Repairing, Healing, and Sabotaging is increased by 10/20/30%.
4. Immersed
IMMERSED! | Dead By Daylight SURVIVOR PERK BUILDS
Immersed is all about hiding from the killer all game. So all of the perks we have are used to keep us quiet and sneaky.
First, we have Iron Will which will completely remove your cries of pain while you are injured. This will help you hide from the killer for obvious reasons.
Feng’s teachable perk Technician will make your generator repair noises reach 8 meters less than normal, and if you happen to fail a skill check it will not alert the killer!
Next, we have Urban Evasion which will increase our crouch walking speed to 100%, which is normal walking speed. This is great for sneaking around trees, barrels, boxes, etc. Also, a great way to counter The Hag and her traps!
Lastly, Quick and Quiet will allow you to vault windows, or hide in lockers, without creating a loud noise notification for the killer to follow. This is great for pulling mind games off, and incredibly entertaining when it works.
What Immersed Excels In:
- Lots of stealthy perks.
- Potential for mind games.
- Counter’s The Hag.
- Quieter generator repair.
Perks Used:
Iron Will: When injured, Grunts of Pain are reduced by 50/75/100%.
Technician: Failing a Skill Check while repairing:

- Quick & Quiet has a cool-down of 30/25/20 seconds.
3. Alerted
Underrated Perks: Alert | Dead by Daylight
Alerted is a strong build that gives you some information, while still giving you options of stealthiness and chase potential.
First, we have Feng’s teachable perk Alert, which will show you the killer’s aura when they are breaking a pallet, breakable wall, or damaging a generator. Their aura will remain revealed for 5 seconds. This is great information to have as it lets you know what options are taken away from you as well as where the killer is.
Next, we have Quick and Quiet which will allow you to sneak around the killer through windows or lockers without making a sound for them to track you. This opens the potential for you to mind game the killer if you are in a chase and can manage to cut line of sight.
Then we have Feng’s other teachable perk Lithe, a very strong exhaustion perk that gives you 150% sprint speed for 3 seconds after performing a fast vault. This works very well after using Quick and Quiet, you may confuse the killer making them think you didn’t vault when in reality you vaulted and then sprinted away and made a lot of extra distance.
Lastly, we have Iron Will which completely silences all of our cries of pain when we are injured.
What Alerted Excels In:
- Gives you information on the killer’s location and available options.
- Has some sneaky perks.
- Good exhaustion perk to help in chases.
Perks Used:
Alert: When the Killer breaks a Pallet or Breakable Wall, or damages a Generator, their Aura is revealed to you for 3/4/5 seconds.
Quick and Quiet: Loud Noise notifications for rushing to vault Windows, or to enter or exit Lockers are completely suppressed.
- Quick & Quiet has a cool-down of 30/25/20 seconds.
Lithe: After performing a rushed vault, break into a sprint at 150% of your normal running speed for a maximum of 3 seconds.
- Lithe causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
- Lithe cannot be used when Exhausted.
Iron Will: When injured, Grunts of Pain are reduced by 50/75/100%.
2. Alerted Pt 2.
Alert Is Actually Really Underrated
Alerted Pt 2 is similar to the last build, however, it takes a different turn, giving you a better end game option, and a different exhaustion perk to utilize.
First, we have Alert again, which will let you see the aura of the killer for 5 seconds whenever they break a ballet, breakable wall, or damage a generator. This is great for showing you what options you have around you and where the killer is.
Next, we have Adrenaline, a fantastic end game perk if you get to use it. This will heal you one health state instantly, and give you 150% sprint speed for 5 seconds once the exit gates are powered.
For our exhaustion perk, we will be using Sprint Burst, which gives you 150% sprint speed for 3 seconds once you start sprinting. This is great for getting between objectives quickly, or better yet, getting a lot of distance from you and the killer at the start of the chase.
Lastly, we have Iron Will again which will completely hide your cries of pain while you are injured, a great way to hide from the killer.
What Alerted Pt 2. Excels In:
- No cries of pain while injured.
- Know where the killer is and what options you have available.
- Good exhaustion perk.

- Adrenaline is on hold if you are disabled at the moment it triggers and will instead activate upon being freed.
- If playing against The Nightmare, Adrenaline will wake you from the Dream World upon activation.
- Adrenaline ignores an existing Exhaustion timer, but causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
Sprint Burst: When starting to run, break into a sprint at 150% of your normal running speed for a maximum of 3 seconds.
- Sprint Burst causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
- Sprint Burst cannot be used when Exhausted.
Iron Will: When injured, Grunts of Pain are reduced by 50/75/100%.
1. Window Games
Losing Killers Using An OP COMBO - Dead by Daylight
Window Games is all about playing around windows in your chases and maximizing what you can get out of them.
First, we have Feng’s perk Lithe, which will allow you to get 150% sprint speed for 3 seconds after performing a rushed vault, this will mostly be used with windows.
Next, we have Quick and Quiet to confuse the killer if we are out of their line of sight, which will make no sound that we performed a vault, and won’t give them the loud noise notification.
To capitalize on this mind game, we have Dance With Me, which after performing a rushed vault, we will get 3 seconds of not leaving scratch marks. This is perfect with Lithe because we can get so much distance without leaving any trace of us doing so.
Lastly, we have Lightweight which will make our scratch marks disappear 3 seconds faster, which will make it even harder for the killer to track you after you have vaulted and start leaving scratch marks again.
What Window Games Excels In:

- Dance With Me has a cool-down of 60/50/40 seconds.
Quick and Quiet: Loud Noise notifications for rushing to vault Windows, or to enter or exit Lockers are completely suppressed.
- Quick & Quiet has a cool-down of 30/25/20 seconds.
Lightweight: Your Scratch Marks start to disappear 1/2/3 seconds sooner.
