COURTESY OF BEHAVIOUR INTERACTIVE FEATURING BEST WIGGLE BUILDS

In this article, we will be identifying and explaining the top five best Wiggle builds for a survivor that is amazingly useful during unhooking situations and is incredible to use in the game of Dead By Daylight. Wiggling is extremely important in the game, as it is a crucial moment that will allow you to get off the killer before he hooks you on the hook, therefore allowing you to stun the killer and gain distance, the same as having a second chance in the game.

Let the top 5 builds escape the fog and reveal themselves:

5. The Single Wiggle Power Build

Build presented by: Ayrun

The Single Wiggle Power Build is a build that does small participation in wiggling situations. However, it is a universal build, especially where it contains the perk you would use most often, and significantly more often than the wiggling perks such as flip-flop or tenacity, as the killer could pick you up immediately, making these perks extremely ineffective. However, as shown in the build, perks such as dead hard and resilience can save your life many times and can be quite useful when it comes to the overall progression of the game, where with perks such as resilience, you will be able to repair generators much faster or unhook survivors faster, which is more critical than the wiggling state itself.

Nonetheless, the build contains the perk 'boil over, which plays a role in the wiggling progression, as when the killer drops from great heights whilst you are wiggling off, "boil over" can be activated to fill up the wiggle bar by 33%, and therefore be able to wiggle off much faster, in conclusion, making it an excellent build for universality which doesn't play a massive part in wiggling; however, it contains a role in an increased chance of escape within the game.

What  Build Excels In:

  • Effective exhaustion perk, dead hard, which will allow you to save yourself in critical situations where the killer is about to hit you and therefore be able to use this perk to avoid the damage from the killer and therefore gain distance, especially in places where you vault at the last minute to gain even more distance.
  • A good combination of iron will and resilience will allow you to be quiet whilst you are injured and, at the same time, be able to use the advantage of an action speed boost from resilience so that you can progress within the game much faster.
  • With the perk boil-over, the killer can have a hard time as the intensity of struggle effects is increased massively. Therefore it can be quite advantageous, significantly where it can save up soo much time, allowing you to wiggle yourself before the killer manages to hook you.

Build Details:

The build details consist of the perks included in the build, with a detailed description of each perk to give you an idea of how the wiggling build works with each individual perk.

  • Boil Over - While being carried by the Killer, the following effects apply: Increases the intensity of the Struggle Effects on the Killer from your Wiggling by 60/70/80 %. Obscures the Auras of all Hooks from the Killer's Aura-reading abilities within 16 metres. It fills your Wiggle Meter by 33 % of your current Wiggle progression upon landing when the Killer drops from great heights.
  • Iron Will - Reduces the volume of Grunts of Pain while in the Injured State by 25/50/75 %.
  • Dead Hard - You can take a beating. When you are injured, tap into your adrenaline bank to avoid damage. Press the Active Ability button while running to trigger the Endurance Status Effect for 0.5 seconds. Dead Hard causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds. Dead Hard cannot be used when Exhausted.
  • Resilience - Increases your Action speeds in Repairing, Healing, Sabotaging, Unhooking, Vaulting, Cleansing, Opening, and Unlocking by 3/6/9 % when in the Injured State.

4. The Classico Wiggle Build

Build presented by: Dotto

The Classico Wiggle Build is a classic build that allows you to wiggle off much faster, especially with the specific perks included in the build. One of the perks that will increase the progression wiggling speed would be the help of the combination of unbreakable and flip-flop, which will allow you to increase the recovery speed and therefore be able to use the recovery into wiggle progression for 50%, which is half of which is needed to get off from the killer, making it very useful, as you would need to be pretty much next to the hook so that the killer would have to hook you which is very rare and therefore making it one of the most common useful perks to have.

Nonetheless, to increase the chances of wiggling off, the build contains Boil Over, which will make it harder for the killer to hook you because of the intensity of struggling effects, and also when the falls from great heights such as buildings, the wiggle progression are increased by 33%. Overall making it a great build to use, and as presented, it is extremely effective in high-elevation maps where perks such as "boil over" can be activated to fill up the wiggle bar by 33%. Universal, as all the perks take part in an increased wiggle progression.

What The Classico Wiggle Build Excels In:

  • The combination of unbreakable and flip-flop allows you to pick yourself up much faster due to the increased recovery speed of 35% from the perk of unbreakable. If picked up by the killer, recovery progress will be automatically transferred into a wiggling progression, allowing you to wiggle off much faster, with a bigger chance of escaping.
  • With the perk boil-over, the killer can have a hard time as the intensity of struggle effects is increased massively. Therefore it can be quite advantageous, significantly where it can save up soo much time, allowing you to wiggle yourself before the killer manages to hook you.
  • The combination of the perks of unbreakable and tenacity allows you to recover and crawl at the same time, allowing yourself to hide from the killer whilst crawling at the same time, and then be able to completely recover in a different place, making it much harder for the killer to find you.

3. The Wiggle Killer Nightmare Build

Build presented by: jbug

The Wiggle Killer Nightmare Build is a build that describes the build as the title shows. In other words, it is a nightmare for the killer, making it very difficult for the killer to comprehend the game. For instance, the combination of tenacity, flip-flop and power struggle is what makes this build to be alive, with the possibility of stunning the killer whilst in the wiggle progression with the help of power struggle, allowing you to stun the killer with a nearby pallet when reaching a minimum 15% wiggling progression, which is pretty much guaranteed with the help of flip-flop, as you only need one second to make this happen. Also, it is a beautiful opportunity to do this if you are under the pallet.

In conclusion, it is a build that focuses mainly on stunning the killer with a pallet, with the help of the main three perks, which will allow making this happen. Therefore, this build is recurring, as you will have the opportunity to do this almost every time. You can do this every time you are under the pallet or know you are about to get hit by the killer; just find a nearby pallet and get hidden on it, allowing you to use the perks.

What The Wiggle Killer Nightmare Build Excels In:

  • The combination of power struggle and flip-flop will allow you to use the perk's effects of flip-flop that could be successfully converted into the power struggle, whereas being able to use the progression to stun the killer with a nearby pallet. on your own, which can be very useful, especially where you are under a pallet, and therefore you can immediately drop the pallet and stun the killer.
  • The perk "boil over" will make it much harder for the killer to hook you, as the intensity of struggle effects is increased massively. Therefore it would make it much harder for the killer to walk towards the hook, as it may walk into objects and slow down the distance due to the struggle effects affecting the killer.
  • With Tenacity, the perk can be very useful, especially with the perks of "flip-flop" and power struggle where you can move over to the nearby pallet whilst recovering at the same time, which can be very useful, and then be able to activate the perk and stun the killer.

Build Details:

The build details consist of the perks included in the build, with a detailed description of each perk to give you an idea of how the wiggling build works with each individual perk.

  • Power Struggle - Reveals the Auras of available Pallets whenever you are in the Dying State. While being carried by The Killer, reaching 25/20/15 % Wiggling progression activates Power Struggle: You can drop a nearby, standing Pallet to stun the Killer and escape their grasp. Power Struggle deactivates after triggering successfully.
  • Flip-Flop - While in the Dying State, 50 % of your Recovery progression is converted into Wiggling progression, up to a maximum of 40/45/50 %, once the Killer picks you up.
  • Tenacity - Your ferocious tenacity in dire situations allows you to benefit from the following effects: Increases your Crawling speed by 30/40/50 %. It grants the ability to crawl and recover at the same time. Reduces the volume of Grunts of Pain while in the Dying State by -75 %.

2. The Super Wiggle Execution Build

Build presented by: JRM

The Super Wiggle Execution Build is a build which will allow you to wiggle off in many ways; one of the most common ones which can be shown from the build is with the help of flip-flop and boilover, which allows you to have more wiggle progress which has been gained from dying state and boosted from unbreakable, and then use boil over so that it would make it much harder for the killer to hook you to due to the intensity of the wiggle progress, making it a very powerful combination which overall would make it very difficult for the killer to hook you unless you are very close to the hook.

Nonetheless, to make this build even better, with the perk head-on, you can stun the killer whilst coming out from the locker, which can be helpful in situations where you are looping and therefore allowing you to go into the locker mid-chase and stun the killer, which will allow you to gain more distance. This is a fantastic build for players who want combinations of wiggling progression and stunning.

What The Super Wiggle Execution Build Excels In:

  • The combination of unbreakable and flip-flop will allow you to pick yourself up. If picked up by the killer, recovery progress will be automatically transferred into a wiggling progression, allowing you to wiggle off much faster, with a bigger chance of escaping.
  • With the perk of 'head on, you will be able to use game tactics and be able to use the stun exhaustion perks in situations such as stunning the killer so that you can save the survivor who is wiggling or stunning the killer in general, where you can go into a locker in the mid-looping situation.
  • The perk "boil over" will make it much harder for the killer to hook you, as the intensity of struggle effects is increased massively. Therefore it would make it much harder for the killer to walk towards the hook, as it may walk into objects and slow down the distance due to the struggle effects affecting the killer.

Build Details:

The build details consist of the perks included in the build, with a detailed description of each perk to give you an idea of how the wiggling build works with each perk.

  • Unbreakable - Once per Trial, you can completely recover from the Dying State. Your Recovery speed is increased by 25/30/35 %.
  • Head On - While standing in a Locker for 3 seconds, Head On activates: When performing a rushed action to leave a Locker, stun the Killer for 3 seconds if they are within range. Head On causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds. Head On cannot be used when Exhausted or when you have accrued Idle Crows.
  • Flip-Flop - While in the Dying State, 50 % of your Recovery progression is converted into Wiggling progression, up to a maximum of 40/45/50 %, once the Killer picks you up.

1. The Power of Giving Up Build

Build presented by: Ayrun

The Power of Giving Up Build is a build that deserves to be in the number one spot because it has possibilities that will make it difficult for the killer to work with. For instance, with the perk breakout, the survivors wiggling speed is increased by 20%, which can be very useful, especially when the survivor is about to get wiggled off at the last moment. Nonetheless, it is extremely effective where multiple survivors have the perk where you can stack the wiggle speed progress and get the survivor off much faster. With tenacity and unbreakable perks, these perks can be used in other situations where the killer dropped you, allowing you to use this opportunity to pick yourself up without the killer finding you.

In conclusion, it is a build I would personally recommend using when it comes to wiggling and picking yourself up in situations where the killer can be quite cocky, therefore allowing you to use those perks as an opportunity to progress within the game and make it much harder for the killer to keep track with.

What The Power of Giving Up Build Excels In:

  • The combination of the perks of unbreakable and tenacity allows you to recover and crawl at the same time, allowing yourself to hide from the killer whilst crawling at the same time, and then be able to completely recover in a different place, making it much harder for the killer to find you.
  • With the perk breakout, you can give full support to other survivors within the game, where the survivor who the killer is carrying can have their wiggling speed increased by 20% and can be stackable with more than one survivor using the perk.
  • The combination of boilover and breakout will allow for a maximum effect on the survivor's wiggle effect, especially powerful if every survivor has this, making it harder for the killer to walk with the struggling survivor and then allowing the survivor to wiggle off much earlier.

Build Details:

The build details consist of the perks included in the build, with a detailed description of each perk to give you an idea of how the wiggling build works with each perk.

  • Breakout - When within 6 metres of a carried Survivor, you gain the Haste Status Effect, moving at an increased speed of 5/6/7 %. The carried Survivor's Wiggling speed is increased by 20 %.
  • Unbreakable - Once per Trial, you can completely recover from the Dying State. Your Recovery speed is increased by 25/30/35 %.
