The Demogorgon are one of the killers who was introduced in chapter 13, stranger things, coming from a popular, personally my favourite tv show, stranger things. Demogorgon was normally a very fun killer to play against especially where he had portals and you had the chance to dig the portals. Nevertheless, changes were made to this chapter and currently, you aren't able to get any of the stranger things characters due to the license, however, the characters are still available if you have received them before making this a limited piece of artwork puzzle that makes this game alive. Nonetheless, let's look at the nice Demogorgon's builds.
5. Combogorgon Build
Dead by Daylight gameplay by MSA_Matei
What The Combogorgon Build Excels In:
- The ability to maximise the blockade of generators, with the perks such as corrupt intervention and deadlock, which will allow the blocking of generators for a certain amount of time, causing the survivors to either go to another generator, which will be so much easier for the killer to capture or waste time.
- With Fearmonger, it is so much easier to teleport with the Demogorgon and its portals as the survivors won't hear anything, and it will be much easier to hit if the survivors have exhaustion perks which won't work.
Build details & Perks:
- Fearmonger (old version: Mindbreaker): Whenever a Survivor is repairing a Generator, they suffer from Blindness and Exhausted Status Effects. If the Survivor is already Exhausted, their Status Effect's timer will be paused. The Status Effect lingers for 3/4/5 seconds after the Survivor stops repairing.
- Save the Best for Last: Each time you hit a Survivor other than your Obsession with a Basic Attack, Save the Best for Last gains 1 Token, up to a maximum of 8 Tokens: Gain a stack-able 5 % Cool-down reduction on successful attacks per Token, up to a maximum of 40 %. Each time you hit your Obsession with a Basic Attack, Save the Best for Last loses 4/3/2 Tokens. When the Obsession is sacrificed or killed, you can neither gain nor lose any more Tokens.
- Corrupt Intervention: At the start of the Trial, the 3 Generators located farthest from you are blocked by The Entity for 80/100/120 seconds.
- Deadlock: Whenever a Generator is completed, The Entity blocks the Generator with the most progression for 20/25/30 seconds. The Aura of the blocked Generator is revealed to you in white during this time.
4. The Blockade of All Actions Build
Dead by Daylight gameplay by KING WOLFE 2
What The Blockade of All Actions Build Excels In:
- The ability to slow down the state of generators with multiple combinations of perks such as Ruin and Jolt, slowing down the whole game and making it harder for survivors to work on a generator whilst Demogorgon is actively moving using his portals.
- With Hex: Blood favour, it will block all pallets when the survivor enters the injured or dying state, making it easier for the killer to catch the survivor.
Build details & Perks:
- Jolt (old version: Surge): When you put a Survivor into the Dying State with your Basic Attack, all Generators within 32 metres of you instantly explode and start regressing. Applies an immediate -8 % Progression penalty.
- Ruin: Whenever a Generator is not being repaired by a Survivor, it will immediately and automatically regress its Repair progress at 50/75/100 % of the normal Regression speed. Once any Survivor is killed by any means, Hex: Ruin deactivates and reverts its Hex Totem into a Dull Totem.
- Corrupt Intervention: At the start of the Trial, the 3 Generators located farthest from you are blocked by The Entity for 80/100/120 seconds.
- Hex: Blood favour: Whenever a Survivor loses a Health State by any means and thus enters the Injured State or the Dying State, Hex: Blood Favour calls upon The Entity to block all Pallets within 24/28/32 metres of that Survivor's location from being pulled down for the next 15 seconds.
3. Devourish Cruelty Build
Dead by Daylight gameplay by SpookyLoopz
What The Devourish Cruelty Build Excels In:
- The power of Devour hope. With this killer, devour hope effects are effortless, as with Demogorgon you have the ability to teleport away from the hook as fast as possible and gain tokens.
- Enduring and Spirit Fury: The combination can easily be problematic for the survivor who is on a chase and dropping pallets, as the perks reduce the stuns massively, and has the ability to break every 2/3/4 pallet on its own, with the help from the entity of course.
Build details & Perks:
- Hex: Devour Hope: Each time a Survivor is rescued from a Hook when you are at least 24 metres away, Hex: Devour Hope receives 1 Token: 2 Tokens: 10 seconds after hooking a Survivor, gain a 3/4/5 % Haste Status Effect for the next 10 seconds. 3 Tokens: Survivors suffer permanently from the Exposed Status Effect. 5 Tokens: You are granted the ability to kill all Survivors by your own hand.
- Hex: Undying: The Auras of Survivors within 2/3/4 metres of any Dull Totem are revealed to you. When another Perk's Hex Totem is cleansed or blessed, its Hex is transferred to the Hex: Undying Totem, including any accumulated Tokens, disabling Hex: Undying instead.
- Enduring: You are resilient to pain. Reduces Pallet Stun duration by 40/45/50 %.
- Spirit Fury: Each Pallet you break magnifies the wrath of The Entity. After breaking 4/3/2 Pallets, the next time you are stunned by a Pallet, The Entity will instantly break it. You still suffer from the Stun penalty.
2. The Anti-Genrush Build
Dead by Daylight gameplay by D3AD Plays
This build can be called a "manual version of regressing generators" from the build, blockade of all actions which is listed at the number 4 spot. The reason that this build is more powerful than the build at number 4 is the fact that this build does not have a hex totem and therefore the perks cannot be eliminated by the survivors, making it long-term suffering for the survivors. Nevertheless, apart from generator regressing, there is also the perk, Dragon's grip, where when the survivor touches a generator, they reveal their location and automatically become exposed making them a one-hit kill. Nevertheless, making this one of the powerful builds in slowing down generators and at the same time having the opportunity to down a survivor effortlessly while using the Dragon's grip perk.
- Slowing down the progress of generators massively via manual interactions, such as using pop goes the weasel or oppression where the regression is massive.
- The ability to expose someone whilst using the Dragon's grip and the combination of this perk with other regression perks allows for the Dragon's grip to be activated multiple times.
Build details & Perks:
- Oppression: When damaging a Generator, up to 3 other random Generators also begin regressing. Trigger a difficult Skill Check if a selected Generator is being repaired. Oppression has a cool-down of 120/100/80 seconds.
- Dragon’s grip: After kicking a Generator, for the next 30 seconds, the first Survivor interacting with it will scream, revealing their location for 4 seconds, and suffers from the Exposed Status Effect for 60 seconds. Dragon's Grip has a cool-down of 120/100/80 seconds.
- Pop goes the Weasel: After hooking a Survivor, Pop Goes the Weasel activates for the next 35/40/45 seconds: The next Generator you damage instantly loses -20 % of its current Progression. Regular Generator Regression applies afterwards and Pop Goes the Weasel deactivates.
- Jolt (old version: Surge): When you put a Survivor into the Dying State with your Basic Attack, all Generators within 32 metres of you instantly explode and start regressing. Applies an immediate 8 % Progression penalty.
1. Fearmonger Demo Counter Attack Build
Dead by Daylight gameplay by SupaAlf
What The Fearmonger Demo Counter Attack Build Excels In:
- A mix of all perks will allow for a great possibility of winning this game, where the perks have the ability to slow down the progress of generators, reveal the aura of survivors using totems, and cause blindness, Haemorrhage and mainly exhaustion status to the survivors making it harder for the survivors to escape a chase.
- The ability to give Hex: Ruin the 2nd chance whilst using the perk Hex: Undying, where if hex ruin is cleansed, it is automatically substituted for Hex: undying and therefore ruin lives on to regress the generators.
Build details & Perks:
- Ruin: Whenever a Generator is not being repaired by a Survivor, it will immediately and automatically regress its Repair progress at 50/75/100 % of the normal Regression speed. Once any Survivor is killed by any means, Hex: Ruin deactivates and reverts its Hex Totem into a Dull Totem.
- Blood Echo: When hooking a Survivor, all other Injured Survivors suffer from the Haemorrhage and Exhausted Status Effects for 45 seconds. Blood Echo can only be triggered once every 80/70/60 seconds.
