Battle Jobs are clearly an important part of Final Fantasy XIV, as the majority of the content focuses on battle and player teamwork.
While FFXIV clearly distinguishes three different roles, each of which serves a different purpose, such as tanks, healers, and DPS, each job differs greatly from the others, with many unique skills that only each battle job possesses.
Buffs and boosts become very important in endgame raiding, whether it is in Extreme Trials, Savage Raids, or especially in Ultimate Raids, to complete dungeons faster or clear high-end dungeons with high DPS requirements.
While players can use external buffs like foods and potions to boost their status and allow them to deal more damage and tank more hits, several battle jobs also serve as utilities to boost the group's stats in addition to doing their main job, which is either tanking, healing, or DPSing.
This article will rank seven of the best battle jobs that, aside from their main job of tanking, DPS, or healing, provide the most utility to a group of players.
