[Top 10] Growtopia Best Profit (Best Ways To Profit In Growtopia)

Growtopia Best Profit (Best Ways To Profit In Growtopia), top profit growtopia, growtopia profit methods, how to profit growtopia 2022, how to earn growtopia
Clearly, I'm not the richest person in Growtopia. I probably would be if I scammed or played casino rounds. Give it a go! It's a great mind and World Lock sink. Wait, don't actually!

This article lists the best profit methods you can do in Growtopia (2013). I’m LD, a Growtopia veteran, and throughout my vast experiences, these are the methods I found that were latest, and simultaneously crook-friendly.

Why should you be interested in learning around the market, anyway? Simple, because earning in-game will allow you to have more expenditures for having fun! In this popular sandbox MMO, you’ll be able to do WOLFWORLD as you like, build to the apex of your imagination, and design your character’s looks.

Read along.

10. Acquiring providers and selling the consumables

Looking for something repetitive and delivers stable income? Providers give exactly that, but the amount in which you earn depends on your budget. For each kind of provider, they require at least a certain amount for it to be profitable.

I recommend number 10 if you can’t dedicate a lot of time to the game. Let’s get into ATMs, Science Stations, and Tackle Boxes.

What is Great About (Acquiring providers and selling the consumables)

  • Time-efficient / time-reliant
  • Consistent
  • Because they’re consumable, there is always a demand

How much can you earn with (Acquiring providers and selling the consumables)

How Method (Acquiring providers and selling the consumables) Works

  • ATMs
    • 1k ATMs will usually cost you 20 to 30 DLs. Save these gems for SSPs, RSPs, or events.
    • Each harvest takes up to 30 minutes. 15 if you have a Rayman’s Fist!
  • Science Stations
    • For every harvest, ‌get a full stack (200) of Chemical Y enough to make Fuel Packs to sell!
    • Fuel packs are efficient because they’re consumed by the Harvester of Sorrows and its counterparts; giving farmers a chance at doubling their fruit.
    • Each harvest takes 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Tackle Boxes

9. Mass buying farmable blocks, and then selling the seeds after 3-7 harvests

This is another method in which you don’t have to invest a lot of time. All you have to do is buy the seeds you need, and sell them off after a while.

Buying straight from the bottom of the crafting recipe isn't efficient in 2022. Right now, it's better to buy preexisting blocks in order to sell the seeds.

Read my first article named “[Top 10] Growtopia Best Farmables That Are Great” to know which farmables are worth your time.

What is Great About Method (Mass buying farmable blocks, and then selling the seeds after 3-7 harvests)

  • Three major steps only. Plant, harvest, and sell.
  • Breaking the blocks is optional.

How much can you earn with (Mass buying farmable blocks, and then selling the seeds after 3-7 harvests)

  • Many farmables sell for 200/WL, such as Pepper block. Others sell for 100/WL. Go check your local BUY+ market to observe the fluctuating prices!

How Method (Mass buying farmable blocks, and then selling the seeds after 3-7 harvests) Works

  • Buy the seeds of your choice. Shamelessly plugging my other article in case you want to learn more. Here are my quick recommendations: Chandelier, Laser Grid, Magic Bell
  • Plant them on a farm. Doesn’t matter how it looks!
  • Sell them to the same worlds where you bought them. Try this format: SELL+FARMABLE NAME or BUY+FARMABLENAME.

8. Hunting for cheap or free SELL+ worlds

Locks disintegrate in Growtopia after 180 days. World Locks reset after 365 days of no player activity. SELL+ worlds, albeit less popular than BUY+ worlds, still make a profit.

Hunting for these types of worlds is great because you can choose to sell your own items (with a markup) or to sell the world itself.

What is Great About Method (Hunting for cheap or free SELL+ worlds)

  • You can sell your items easily and for more.
  • SELL+ worlds are in demand because there are always new items coming out.

How much can you earn with (Hunting for cheap or free SELL+ worlds)

  • 2 to 50 DLs depending on item popularity

How Method (Hunting for cheap or free SELL+ worlds) Works

  • Look for decaying or cheap SELL+ worlds. Check if the prices look reasonable to you.
  • Set up a Security Camera or CCTV to capture player activity.
  • Set up a few Vending Machines and sell the items in the world name
  • Broadcast to let people know you’re selling these items. Let them /rate 5 your world so it gets more honors.
  • Screenshot your Security Camera log and sell your world in social media groups such as the official Growtopia Forums or one of my favorite groups, Growtopia University. Also try Growtopia Community!

7. Breaking at a BFG (no cost)

If you can’t afford to run a BFG (Break-for-Gems) world, the next best BFG alternative is to succumb to the madness.

I recommend this method if you don’t mind mindlessly punching in one place just to rack up your gems. Some would even argue it’s better than farming! It’s purely based on preference. Are you an economist, or traditionalist?

What is Great About Method [Breaking at a BFG (no cost)]

  • You don’t need your own farmables.
  • Many BFG owners are competitive enough to let you break for free.
  • You’re directly paid with gems for labor
  • Often more lucrative than breaking services at WLs per 2000 blocks.

How much can you earn with [Breaking at a BFG (no cost)]

  • 10,000 to 120,000 Gems.
  • 120,000 Gems for Chandelier-tier blocks for 4-8 hours

How Method [Breaking at a BFG (no cost)] Works

  • Go to a free BFG world. You can find most of these through broadcasts, so just wait until you find one. If you can’t, try broadcasting yourself. Try this in chat: “/bc `9Looking for a Chandelier free BFG world! /msg me”
  • Pick up the MAGPLANT 5000 Remote via wrenching. This allows you to place the blocks. Any seeds and spare drops will be picked up by the MAGPLANT 5000 for the world owner to collect.
  • Find a spot where you can place and break. Make sure it’s safe and no one can steal! I recommend finding one with a checkpoint. Some owners only allow breakers for 30 minutes to an hour. Make sure you’ve read the rules on any Signs or Bulletin Boards/Guest Books.
  • Break your blocks and collect the gems!

6. Selling limited-time event items

Events are a good, and honest way to earn currency in most games. Growtopia is no different.

In my opinion, going with this method is best if you’re already an active player. That way, you can anticipate the event announcements and get to work during the first week. The first week is almost always the most lucrative.

What is Great About (Selling limited-time event items)

  • You’ll learn more about the latest item prices
  • High risk, high reward setting

How much can you earn with Selling limited-time event items

  • 245 - 1000+ WLs profit for 200,000 - 250,000 Gems allocated, depending on luck.

How Method (Selling limited-time event items) Works

  • Save up your gems using your preferred method of earning. For me, I recommend doing BFGs, plain farming, or using ATMs. Others with the budget prefer buying Gems using WLs. If you’re going down this route, ‌learn about the scams involved in buying Gems. Aka, learn to use a GrowScan 9000!
  • Buy the event pack or limited-time item (Valentine’s, Easter Week, Winterfest, Growganoth, Guild Clash)
    • Valentine’s Week - Golden Booty Chest
    • Easter Week - varies
    • Winterfest - Latest Calendar
    • Growganoth - varies
    • Guild Clash - Pristine Tools
  • Sell them in BUY(ITEM) or SELL(ITEM) worlds!

5. Selling DNA

Selling DNA works because of market unsaturation. It’s an example of looking for a niche. DNA comes from extracting fossils and ancient items. However, we’ll just be focusing on using a DNA Extractor instead of a Fossil Prep Station.

I recommend this method if you prefer going beyond selling fossils. Fossils are a little more difficult to get because it needs world popularity. These blocks, on one hand, only require the various ‌items you can already buy from players.

What is Great About Method (Selling DNA)

  • High risk, high reward
  • Fewer competitors

How much can you earn with (Selling DNA)

  • Luck-based; 28 - 40 WLs per DNA

How (Selling DNA) Works

  • Buy T-Rex Skulls, Amber Blocks, and Ancient Plant Seeds.
  • Run them through a DNA Extractor.
  • Sell them in SELL+ or BUY+ worlds. Broadcasting works too!

4. Massing (mass producing) blocks or seeds not sold for cheap at RSP (Rare Seed Pack) and SSP (Small Seed Pack) shops

Massing (or mass producing) is a method of the ancient gods. Kidding aside, this method is here to stay because fortunately, there are still people needing 1000 Disco Balls, apparently.

Based on the video I provided, the only item I wouldn’t recommend is the Display Block. Display Blocks are harder to sell because they don’t disappear. Something like Fossil Brushes or Dragon Gates, on the other hand, are eaten up by Fossil extraction and the Legendary Dragon Quest.

For this method, I recommend looking into Fossil Brushes or Dragon Gates.

What is Great About [Massing (mass producing) blocks or seeds not sold for cheap at RSP (Rare Seed Pack) and SSP (Small Seed Pack) shops]

  • Consumables are always in demand
  • Building worlds are a core aspect of gameplay
  • Long-term

How much can you earn with [Massing (mass producing) blocks or seeds not sold for cheap at RSP (Rare Seed Pack) and SSP (Small Seed Pack) shops]

  • Dragon Gate - 14-16/WL
    • Players pay more if you supply in bulk. 600 Dragon Gates are needed in total for the Dragon of Legend Legendary Quest!
  • Fossil Brushes - 5/2 WLs

How [Massing (mass producing) blocks or seeds not sold for cheap at RSP (Rare Seed Pack) and SSP (Small Seed Pack) shops] Works

  • Get your recipe from the world MASSHELP. If in doubt, try a different mass recipe world! The Growtopia Forums has many resources for you to use.
  • If you’ve got the budget, don’t be afraid to skip a few recipes to get there sooner. For example, starting from Dirt and Cave Background might be a bit extreme, unless you’ve got nothing.
  • Most mass producing projects end at around 2 to 6 months.
  • Afterwards, sell your items with a Vending Machine and do a Broadcast/Super Broadcast/Custom Broadcast.

3. Managing a BFG

By far, this is one of the best ways to profit in-game. As a rich owner (so consider this as one of your endgames), all you have to do is plant, harvest, charge others for breaking your farmables, and sell the seeds.

Different from normal farming, you get extra income from the influx of players wanting a private, safe room for their gems. I highly recommend this method if you have tons of time to spare for Growtopia.

What is Great About Method (Managing a BFG)

  • High stress, low risk, high reward
  • A respectable end-game
  • Hiring workers can lower down stress levels, albeit lower your profit. It’s your choice!

How much can you earn with (Managing a BFG)

  • 70+ WLs a day / 1500 Blocks
  • Your profit depends on your rates. Most people charge for 1 WL/30 minutes - 1 hour and 2-3/30 minutes - 1 hour if the farmables are Chandelier-tier, like Magic Bells.

How (Managing a BFG) Works

  • Buy two MAGPLANT 5000s, or 1 MAGPLANT 5000 and several Gaia’s Beacons.
  • One MAGPLANT 5000 for placing, and the other for picking. Same with Gaia, except it can only pick up items.
  • Convert the latter part of your farm into BFG rooms. The video should teach you how it looks. For the bare minimum, purchase a Builders lock! Steam Doors and Revolvers are for fancy folks.
  • Once everything’s set according to the video, set up a Bulletin Board with your rates and rules.
  • Broadcast and people should buy a room!

2. Flipping (buying and selling) the market's most demanding items

If you asked any Growtopian regarding their profit methods, most would tell you to buy and sell among farming.

I recommend this method with a modified version of the video I included. JustinJake’s video requires only a small budget, but this will require DLs, if not BGLs.

What is Great About [Flipping (buying and selling) the market's most demanding items]

  • You’re up-to-date with the market
  • Choice given between high risk, high reward – or low risk, low reward
  • Requires no farming or RNG (luck) with acquiring the said items.

How much can you earn with [Flipping (buying and selling) the market's most demanding items]

  • Phoenix Items - 20 WLs to 5 BGL profit; depending on which items you’re looking for.
    • Phoenix Wings are required for the Legendbot-009 Legendary Quest. As of writing, people price them at 22 BGLs.
  • Golden Heart Crystal / Golden Angel Wings (G Angels) - up to 40 DLs
  • WOTD Trophy / VOTW Trophy - up to 100 DLs
    • As of writing, they sell for 1200 DLs. They’re also required for the Legendary Quests.

How [Flipping (buying and selling) the market's most demanding items] Works

  • Consumables are the king. We consider legendary items a part of the endgame of Growtopia. Buying and selling these items results in large gains.
  • Visit BUYGHC and wait until a broadcaster or seller tries to sell something.
  • Make sure it’s not a scam, and confirm your trade.
  • Sell your item for much higher.

1. Buying BUY+ worlds

BUY+ worlds are easily worth 200+ BGLs. Lower-priced BUY+ worlds are at least 70 BGLs, so you can expect to get ‌monstrous gains from the selling price… That is, if you aren’t content with the profits from the Vending Machines already.

This would be my ultimate endgame for making a profit in Growtopia. It’s a player-made concept – to have multiple trading worlds for different items. Back then, there were only a few.

What is Great About (Buying BUY+ worlds)

  • You get passive profit from many, MANY fossils.
  • You get active profit from selling goods (Vending Machine)
  • Resell the world for much more
  • Become an economist elite!

How much can you earn with (Buying BUY+ worlds)

  • 100 to 200 BGLs for very popular worlds.
    • Typically, your budget here would be from 40 to 70 BGLs. You’ll be broadcasting daily, every few days, to weekly and monthly to rack up your world’s price.
    • An example would be BUYNIGHTKING, BUYBREAD, and whatnot.
  • 30 to 40 BGLs for average world names
    • Obscure items fall here.

How (Buying BUY+ worlds) Works

  • BUY+ worlds follow a traditional structure. The name should be short and the item should be in demand.
  • Locate BUY+ worlds off of BUYGHC or BUYWORLD.
  • When buying to resell, ‌do your research on the item and validate if the Security Camera logs are legit.
  • When you’re ready, confirm the world trade, (which should be done with Growtopia’s official trading system; don’t do drop games!)
  • Set up your new BUY+ world with a set of platforms, some Vending Machines, and Bulletin Boards. Visit other BUY+ worlds to get an example of how you should go about it.
  • Broadcast daily, weekly, or monthly to get returning customers.
  • After a few months, resell your BUY+ world for much higher than what you bought it for… or keep it!

That’s all for this guide. I hope you enjoyed expertise on the game Growtopia!
