Time Trials are one of many free-mode events in GTA Online. You have to complete a circuit in a certain amount of time and you can earn some easy cash doing it. The question is, what vehicle to use when conducting these time trials? In my experience, Motorbikes work best. They are fast, easy to handle, have good traction, and can pass through tight spaces if necessary. So in this list, we will look at the Top 5 bikes that prove sufficient in Time trials. 

5. Ruffian

At number 5 on the list, we have the Ruffian. Based on the Ducati Monster, this bike has been part of GTA Online since the beginning. Ruffian is a speedy and versatile motorbike. It has excellent acceleration and decent top speed, combined with greater stability, allowing you to cruise at high speeds safely. Although it is a sports bike, the Ruffian does not suffer off-road and performs well. Cornering with this bike is difficult, making it a liability in races, but this bike is ideal for time trials as the path is mostly straight. The Ruffian is priced at $9,000

4. Bati 801 RR

Next, we have the Bati 801 RR. It resembles the features of that of an EFLC and is a sportier version of the original Bati. It has excellent top speed and acceleration and a light body that allows the user to apply brakes easily and handle the fast-moving bike. This bike is ideal for time trials due to its high speed and great handling, allowing it to make sharp turns. This bike can be purchased for $15,000.

Bati 801 RR details:

• Low pitch engine sounds like the Bati
• 4-cylinder exhaust manifold

3. Akuma

Next, we have is the Akuma which is based on the Buell XB12S. Akuma is one of the fastest accelerating vehicles in GTA online. It has a fast top speed without leaning forward but prevents the rider to perform wheelies at top speed, which reduces its effectiveness on long straight roads. The Akuma excels when turning corners as it can accelerate at turnings, making it a good competitor for time trials. The Akuma can be bought for only $9,000, which is a good deal if you ask me.

• Great turning ability
• One of the best bikes at a cheap price 

Akuma details:

• 4-cylinder engine coupled with a 5-speed gearbox

2. Deathbike

At the number 2 spot on this list, we have the deathbike. This motorbike is based on Daryl’s bike from The Walking Dead tv series. It has one of the highest top speeds in the game, and the upgrades make it even better. This vehicle can be equipped with jump mods, allowing it to jump and gain air time like the Ruiner 2000. The vehicle can also be installed with boost upgrades for extra speed in races or time trials. The deathbike is also capable of taking a single explosion hit without exploding, and can also be equipped with weapons and blades. It can be bought for $1,269,000.

• Good armor 
• Major upgrades like the boost and jump ability

Deathbike details:

• A modified variant of Gargoyle
• Can be equipped with two-sided mounted guns
• Rusty unique design

1. Reever

On the Number 1 spot, we have the Reever. The Reever is based on the Arch Method 143. Reever is the fastest bike in GTA online, gathering a top speed of 163mph, making it unbeatable in a straight line. It has good acceleration and decent handling, the only problem is when making turns at high speed. It can also perform wheelies at high speeds which the Akuma lacked in. The Reever is priced at $1,900,000. 

What makes it great:

• High top speed
• Great acceleration
• Performs wheelies at high speeds
• Unique stylish design 

Reever details:

• Pushrod V twin engine coupled with a 5-speed gearbox
• Low-pitched revving sound
• Many modifications available
