What are Jets

Jets in GTA V and GTA Online are high-speed aircrafts that players can purchase and designate as a custom personal vehicle if they own a hangar. Notably, players can purchase jets even without owning a personal hangar, but this choice restricts them from incorporating custom countermeasures and accessing various visual customizations.

Why are they important in the game?

Jets are hands down the best way to get around Los Santos as Rockstar (Game Developer)  added a huge amount of spawn points for personal aircraft, making it easily accessible to all players regardless of the location requested. Another important feature about the jets is that GTA Online players will get a fighting chance against lobby griefers and tryhards.

10. Western Company Rouge (good)

The Western Company Rouge is the best starter jet to get for all GTA Online player as the handling, weaponry and base cost is perfectly suited for low budget players looking to dip their toes in dogfighting, The Rouge has a base cost of $1,596,000 and can be bought on warstock cache and carry website via phone or computer.

The Rogue doesn't have explosives round but since Rockstar nerfed this feature, the regular turrets available to the Rogue will hold up strongly against other jets as it is now only slightly lower in damage. This won’t be a problem as the rouge's maneuverability is top of the line and will easily dodge incoming fire.

9. Buckingham Pyro (Excellent)

8. Mammoth Mogul (Excellent)

The Mammoth Mogul is the first jet players could own in GTA Online that allowed for second player to use a built-in turret with complete 360 maneuverability. The Mogul has excellent handling, top speed and weaponry making it an ideal choice for combat. 7. Mammoth Avenger (Excellent)

The Avenger has decent handling, top speed and weaponry making it an ideal choice for combat and getting around the map. 5. B-11 Strikeforce (Excellent)

The B-11 has one of the best handling, top speed, weaponry and take-off in the entire game making it an ideal choice for combat and getting around the map. 4. LF-22 Starling (Excellent)

The Stirling is the first and only jet in GTA Online that has a boost feature for its flight, this feature is the only way for the Stirling to move. Even with such a limitation, the Stirling has one of the best handling, top speed, weaponry and take-off in the entire game making it arguably the best choice for combat. The base cost is not too expensive in comparison to the other jets on this list coming in at a base cost of $3,657,500 and can be bought on warstock cache and carry website via phone or computer.

The B-11 has explosives, ammo (homing missiles), and the now best base explosive machine guns that will annihilate everything in its path.

Should you get this? 

GTA online players should only get this jet if they desire to do PvP combat as it is one of the best aircraft for dogfighting mainly due to its boost ability. This is an amazing aircraft that all “PvPers” should own as it will handle all combat easily once playstyle is learnt.

Why the LF-22 Stirling is Great

• Has Homing missiles that can be fired continuously when upgraded at a hangar.
• It has a boost feature that will outrun and outmaneuver all incoming fire from other jets.

B-11 Lazer Stats

• Top 3 for aircraft combat and top 10 in aircraft races.

3. V-65 Molotok (Excellent)

The Molotok is my personal favorite aircraft and one of the most fun jets to fly in GTA Online. The base cost is not too expensive for the features given in comparison to the other jets in its class coming in at a base cost of $4,788,000 and can be bought on warstock cache and carry website via phone or computer.

The Molotok has explosives, ammo (homing missiles), and a decent machine gun that will annihilate everything in its path.

Should you get this? 

GTA online players should only get this jet if they want a perfect balance between combat and flight. The Molotok has the best features for doing stunts due to its superb handling and its ability to land similarly to helicopters (this takes practice).

Why the V-65 is Great

• It has a built-in turret (Explosives) that will take out all aircraft and vehicles with little to no effort.
• Has Homing missiles that can be fired continuously when upgraded at a hangar.
• It has a landing feature that can be used to outmaneuver other jets.

V-65 Molotok Stats

• A top Speed of 207.75 mph
• Top 3 for aircraft combat and top 6 in aircraft races.

2. Mammoth Hydra (Excellent)

The Hydra is the first fighter jet in GTA Online to get a VTOL mode (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) and is pretty much an upgraded version of the P-996 Lazer. The Hydra has one of the best handling, top speed and weaponry in the entire game making it the best choice for combat and getting around the map. The base cost is not as expensive as the Lazer, surprisingly coming in at a base cost of $3,990,000 and can be bought on warstock cache and carry website via phone or computer.

The Hydra has explosives, ammo (homing missiles), and a base explosive turret that will annihilate all jets and helicopters. The Hydra is highly recommended due to its versatility in every and all situations.

GTA online players should 100% get this fighter jet as it is perfect for 1v1 combat as it is one of the best aircraft for dogfighting. This isn't just a nostalgia bait aircraft like the Lazer as veteran players will quickly realize the superiority of this jet. The playstyle is quite unique so it might take some time to get used to.

Why the Mammoth Hydra is Great

• It has a built-in turret (Explosives) that will take out all aircraft and vehicles with little to no effort.
• Has Homing missiles that can be fired continuously when upgraded at a hangar.
• Visual and performance upgrades are basically non-existent, but this makes it perfect for players who are not confident about their customization skills and simply want a buy and go jet.

Mammoth Hydra Stats

1. F-160 Raiju (Best)

The F-160 Raiju is the fastest fighter jet in GTA Online and is without question an upgraded version of the Mammoth Hydra. The Raiju has the best handling, top speed and weaponry in the entire game making it the best choice for combat, races and getting around the map. The base cost reflects this perfection coming in at a base cost of $6,855,000 (most expensive jet in the game) or for $5,141,250 with the trade price. The F-160 Raiju can be bought on warstock cache and carry website via player phone or on a computer.

The Raiju has explosives, ammo (homing missiles), and a base explosive turret that will annihilate all. The Raiju is highly recommended due to its versatility in every and all situations' players will face. The Raiju is the only aircraft you will ever need in GTA Online.

All GTA online players should purchase this fighter jet as it is hands down the perfect jet for all 1v1 combat. The VTOL playstyle is quite unique so it might take some time to get used to but because of its amazing top speed and take-off, players will quickly learn the ropes.

Why the F-160 Raiju is Great

• It has a built-in turret (Explosives) that will take out all aircraft and vehicles with little to no effort.
• Has Homing missiles that can be fired continuously when upgraded at a hangar.
• The ability the Raiju has that allows it to remain in flight is the best in the game, it takes less than a second to get going once switched from vertical to horizontal mode

F-160 Raiju Stats

• Fastest jet for all aircraft races.
