[Top 10] GTA Online Best Sedans You Can Own

Best Sedans in GTA Online
The best 4-door cars in GTA Online

Don’t worry, no one’s going to call you an NPC

Probably the most neglected, yet really capable, class of cars in GTA Online are the sedans. With your first gaze at a sedan, the thought of buying one wouldn’t even cross your mind, as you already have a ton of options to get yourself a sleek sports car instead. Well, that is true, but only to an extent.

Sedans in GTA Online are one of those misunderstood vehicles that get heavily overshadowed by sports cars. They seem slow, unattractive, and suitable for carrying four passengers only. Honestly, that’s what a sedan actually is. But the reality is that a good bunch of sedans in the game can easily out-compete a lot of the sports cars.

This article showcases the 10 best sedans in GTA Online based on their overall performance and features. Note that this list does not contain sedans released as part of the Los Santos Tuners update.

10. Albany Primo Custom

The Primo Custom

Primo Custom review

Price: GTA$ 400,000 (For conversion) Original Primo’s price is GTA$ 9,000

The Primo Custom is definitely one of the best-looking lowriders in the game. As a sedan, it’s one of the most customizable on this list, since it’s a Benny’s vehicle. The design of the Primo Custom is inspired by the Cadillac Seville from the ‘90s.

It’s a great sedan because:

  • It’s highly customizable.
  • Even though it’s not quite fast, its handling is pretty responsive.
  • It’s a fun and stylish car to cruise around in.

Primo Custom stats:

  • Speed: 75.12
  • Acceleration: 50.00
  • Braking: 30.00
  • Handling: 71.21
  • Overall: 56.58

9. Cheval Fugitive

The Fugitive

Fugitive review

Price: GTA$ 24,000

The Fugitive, at first glance, is recognizably a common NPC sedan that you’ll easily find roaming around on the roads. But what most people don’t know is that it’s the best 4-door NPC vehicle you can steal for yourself, as it has commendable performance for a vehicle that you can basically get for free.

It’s a great sedan because:

  • It’s not going to win you races or anything, but it will definitely allow you to lose the cops.
  • It has grippy handling.
  • It sounds good too.

Fugitive stats:

  • Speed: 77.80
  • Acceleration: 50.00
  • Braking: 30.00
  • Handling: 75.76
  • Overall: 58.39

8. Obey Tailgater

The Tailgater

Tailgater review

Price: GTA$ 55,000

The Tailgater is one of the oldest, rarest, and most iconic sedans in GTA Online. Based on the third-gen Audi A6, the Tailgater is a very decent car. Sure, it doesn’t seem that attractive because of all the new cars in the game now, but it’s a car that you should definitely consider buying as a beginner.

It’s a great sedan because:

  • It’s a classic GTA V story mode car owned by Michael.
  • All three aspects of the car: speed, acceleration, and handling are exceptional and well-balanced.
  • For the performance you get, it’s quite cheap.

Tailgater stats:

  • Speed: 77.80
  • Acceleration: 50.00
  • Braking: 30.00
  • Handling: 77.27
  • Overall: 58.77

7. Benefactor Glendale Custom

The Glendale Custom

Glendale Custom review

Price: GTA$ 520,000 (For conversion) Original Glendale’s price is GTA$ 200,000

Right off the bat, the Glendale custom doesn’t look appealing at all. It’s obviously a retro Mercedes, but there’s a reason why this car is on the list. The least that can be said about it is that don’t judge a book by its cover, or its excellent performance by the old shell. The Glendale Custom is a sleeper and buying it will not disappoint you.

It’s a great sedan because:

  • It’s a Benny’s vehicle, meaning it can be customized outlandishly.
  • Its adequate top speed and acceleration will help you take the lead in races.
  • For vintage car lovers, it’s a must-have in your garage.

Schafter stats:

  • Speed: 79.41
  • Acceleration: 58.25
  • Braking: 20.83
  • Handling: 62.12
  • Overall: 55.15

6. Benefactor Schafter LWB/Armored

The Schafter LWB

Schafter LWB review

Price: GTA$ 208,000/GTA$ 438,000 (Armored)

The Schafter LWB is a variant of the standard Schafter with the difference being that the wheelbase is extended. As the standard Schafter is a replica of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the Schafter LWB is also based on the E-Class LWB. In terms of performance, it lacks slightly behind the standard version.

It’s a great sedan because:

  • It has excellent traction, and the rear doesn’t fishtail.
  • For a large sedan, its top speed is up there with the best.
  • The armored variant can handle a single RPG shot.

Schafter LWB stats:

  • Speed: 76.19
  • Acceleration: 50.00
  • Braking: 28.33
  • Handling: 77.27
  • Overall: 57.95

5. Benefactor Schafter

The Schafter

Schafter review

Price: GTA$ 65,000

The standard Schafter is basically a good sedan. There aren’t any perks exclusive to it that make it stand out on this list besides that it used to be the fastest sedan in the game until its beastly variant, the Schafter V12, was released. Nonetheless, it’s still miles ahead of other sedans in the game.

It’s a great sedan because:

  • It has an attractive design language.
  • There is nothing you can complain about the performance.
  • It’s unique in the sense that it’s also Gay Tony’s car from GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony.

Schafter stats:

  • Speed: 77.80
  • Acceleration: 50.00
  • Braking: 30.00
  • Handling: 77.27
  • Overall: 58.77

4. Enus Deity

The Deity

Deity review

Standard Price: GTA$ 1,845,000

Trade Price: GTA$ 1,383,750 (By completing 10 Agency Security Contracts as leader)

The Deity is a bossy-looking, mafia-type sedan that certainly gives off vibes that you mean serious business. It’s also the only sedan in the game that can be equipped with Imani Tech. This quality alone helps it earn a place in the top 5 on this list. Its real-life counterpart is the third-gen Bentley Flying Spur, and Rockstar nailed the design.

It’s a great sedan because:

  • Once equipped with armor plating, it can withstand 3 RPGs and 11 Homing Missiles.
  • With Imani Tech, you can install a Missile Lock-on Jammer on it.
  • A front-facing Machine Gun and Slick Proximity Mines can also be fitted.
  • It’s a weighty car and you can ram traffic easily at high speeds.

Deity stats:

  • Speed: 80.48
  • Acceleration: 73.13
  • Braking: 21.67
  • Handling: 65.15
  • Overall: 60.11

3. Übermacht Rhinehart

The Rhinehart

Rhinehart review

Price: GTA$ 1,598,000

The Rhinehart is the cleanest-looking station wagon that Rockstar has ever released in GTA Online. It is mainly based on the BMW 3 Series Touring. Just looking at it should be enough to satisfy your automotive demons; It is designed that well!

It’s a great sedan because:

  • It’s one of the fastest sedans in the game.
  • Its handling is extremely responsive, and you can easily cut tight corners without breaking a sweat.
  • It’s also the fastest station wagon in the game.

Rhinehart stats:

  • Speed: 84.35
  • Acceleration: 84.75
  • Braking: 29.50
  • Handling: 69.24

2. Lampadati Cinquemila

The Cinquemila

Cinquemila review

Price: GTA$ 1,740,000

Based on the Maserati Quattroporte, the Cinquemila is hands down the best-looking sedan in the game. At first look, it seems like a sports car, but once you notice that it has four doors, you feel deceived. Nonetheless, the slight deception is only in terms of looks and not performance, as it’s a brilliant car to drive.

It’s a great sedan because:

  • It has an amazing design.
  • It’s one of the fastest sedans in the game.
  • Hearing its exhaust notes is a pleasure.

Cinquemila stats:

  • Speed: 82.63
  • Acceleration: 88.38
  • Braking: 32.50
  • Handling: 79.70
  • Overall: 70.80

1. Benefactor Schafter V12/Armored

The Schafter V12

Schafter V12 review

Price: GTA$ 116,000/GTA$ 325,000 (Armored)

The Schafter V12 is the perfect sedan in the game that’s not just in an affordable price range but also commendably fast. It’s based on the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class series. It’s an old car that’s been in the game since late 2015, but it outperforms other sedans and even competes with a lot of sports cars.

It’s a great sedan because:

  • It’s at an affordable price point.
  • It handles remarkably well.
  • The armored variant can withstand a single RPG shot.
  • It’s the fastest sedan, making it great for races.

Schafter V12 stats:

  • Speed: 80.48
  • Acceleration: 75.00
  • Braking: 31.67
  • Handling: 77.27
  • Overall: 66.11
