Why wouldn't you want to annihilate your rivals?!
Asserting dominance, traumatizing the residents of Los Santos, and flexing around with the most equipped vehicle is in the essence of playing GTA Online. What better way to do all that than getting yourself the best weaponized vehicles in the game? If that strikes your fancy, then you’ve come to the right place.
Rockstar has released its fair share of popular and eye-catching vehicles from movies and the military in GTA Online. Not only did they replicate these vehicles to a good extent, but they also added a bunch of outrageous and overpowered features, such as missiles, flying capabilities, and rocket boosts.
Since the launch of GTA Online, Rockstar has slowly drip fed various weaponized vehicles in the game. These vehicles vary based on their flagship features.
A fact to keep in mind is that a lot of these vehicles’ weapon and armor modifications are only attainable by conducting Bunker Research first. So, you better start researching ASAP!
10. Weaponized Tampa
The Weaponized Tampa
Standard Price: GTA$ 2,108,050
Trade Price: GTA$ 1,585,000 (By completing the MOC mission: Mole Hunt)
Inspired by the Roadkill from the Twisted Metal series, the weaponized Tampa is a good option to consider for people who just want to roam around and bother other players in the lobby.
The Weaponized Tampa can be fitted with a Fixed Minigun, Dual Minigun (preferred option), Missiles, Rear Mortar, and Proximity Mines. However, the armor is super weak, as the car can’t withstand any explosive damage. Plus, you are also prone to getting shot from the windows.
The Weaponized Tampa has reasonable speed & acceleration and handles quite well. A few reasons why it’d be a good choice for you are:
- Its abundance of weaponry fittings.
- Easy to use and highly lethal Dual Minigun.
- Handling and performance that’s similar to any other good muscle car in the game.

9. Deluxo
The Deluxo
Standard Price: GTA$ 4,721,500
Trade Price: GTA$ 3,550,000 (By completing the Signal Intercepts Setup mission in the Doomsday Heist as the heist leader)
An unswerving replica of the DeLorean DMC-12, the Deluxo is any retro enthusiast’s preferred choice of weaponized vehicle to consider. Besides its nostalgic looks, anyone who has binge watched Back to the Future would immediately recognize that the Deluxo’s abilities are a homage to that show.
The Deluxo drives, hovers, and flies anywhere across the map with ease, making it severely futuristic and overpowered. It can also be equipped with a Machine Gun and Homing Missiles, which means you are going to have a lethal combination at your disposal. Regrettably, the Deluxo doesn’t stand a chance against explosives, and you have no protection from the windows either.
From its old-school looks to advanced abilities, the Deluxo can be your preferred choice because:
- It has good handling, both on the ground and in the air.
- Its weaponry coupled with flying ability gives it the upper hand in combat.
- Vanity geeks would surely cherish having it in their garage.

8. APC
The APC
Standard Price: GTA$ 3,092,250
Trade Price: GTA$ 2,325,000 (By completing the MOC mission: Offshore Assets)
Just like the name suggests, the Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) can carry you and the boys (3 boys to be exact) around the map, with one operating the Turret/SAM launcher and the other two as machine gunners at the back.
The APC adopts design elements from the Russian BRDM-2 and the Cadillac Gage Commando.
The APC comes with a powerful Cannon by default (the preferred option) which can be replaced with a SAM Battery. The passengers in the rear have access to Machine Guns, and Proximity Mines can also be installed. Despite that, the windows are not bulletproof.
The reasons why the APC would suit you are:
- A decent and easy to maneuver handling.
- The option to hook on an Anti-Aircraft Trailer – giving the squad extra firepower.
- Pretty strong armor. It can be upgraded to withstand 8 RPG and Homing Launcher shots.
- The APC’s amphibious capabilities, meaning you can cross the Alamo Sea without having to take the road.

7. Barrage
The Barrage
Standard Price: GTA$ 2,121,350
Trade Price: GTA$ 1,595,000 (By completing the Barrage Setup mission in the Doomsday Heist as the heist leader)
The Barrage sports a modern design and is based on the HDT Storm SRTV. In case you want to carry around your friends in a homicidal style, then the Barrage should be your go to option.
By default, the Barrage offers a Machine Gun which can be swapped for a more powerful, and better, Minigun. Along with that, there is a rear mounted Machine Gun as well which can also be swapped for either a Minigun or a Grenade Launcher. Then again, the Barrage also doesn’t offer protection from the windows, as its cabin is open.
Overall, the Barrage is a decent weaponized vehicle to have in your arsenal, and the points that justify its decency are:
- Barrage’s good handling and controls that are comparable to other off-roaders in the game.
- Praiseworthy armor. It takes 5 RPG shots and, an astounding, 12 shots from a Homing Launcher to blow up.
- The most options for cosmetic upgrades of any weaponized vehicle in the game.

6. Scramjet
The Scramjet
Standard Price: GTA$ 4,628,400
Trade Price: GTA$ 3,480,000 (By winning 1 round of Hunting Pack Remix)
If you are logging in to GTA Online just for the sake of having fun and taking out enemies in meme worthy tactics, then you should seriously look into the Scramjet. It’s based on the Mach Five from Speed Racer, a popular anime series from the ‘60s.
The Scramjet has Machine Guns and Homing Missiles. Nevertheless, it can’t take any explosive damage and has no protection against you getting shot.
The combination of a rocket booster and power hop makes the Scramjet extremely fun to drive (or fly if you want to be a true champ). Just bear in mind that the car is notorious for drowning in swimming pools across Los Santos once you start hopping around in it.
Why would anyone buy the expensive Scramjet you may ask, well:
- It handles really well and is decently fast without the boost.
- The missiles on the Scramjet are severely destructive and can take out enemies with pinpoint precision.
- If you aren’t lame or boring, then you have no strong reason not to buy and have fun pulling off outrageous stunts in the Scramjet.

5. TM-02 Khanjali
The Khanjali
Standard Price: GTA$ 3,850,350
Trade Price: GTA$ 2,895,000 (By completing the Khanjali Setup mission in the Doomsday Heist as the heist leader)
If outright obliterating your enemies and sending shivers down their spines is what you’re hunting for, then look no further than the TM-02 Khanjali. Based on the Polish PL-01, the Khanjali tank is nothing short of monstrosity coupled with sheer dominating capabilities.
The absolute abundance of ordnance on the Khanjali includes Tank Cannon (by default), Railgun Cannon (the preferred option), Machine Gun (operated by the front seat passenger), Grenade Launcher (operated by the rear passenger), and proximity mines.
The armor on the Khanjali is also quite impressive. Once fully upgraded, the tank can take up to 8 RPGs and Homing Launcher missiles.
With its tempting looks, the Khanjali should be worth your consideration because:
- It has fast speed and acceleration for a tank.
- You can crush other vehicles on the road, head on.
- The heaps of weapons on board allow you and your squad to be feared among anyone who dares to even look at you.

4. Avenger
The Avenger
Price: GTA$ 3,450,000 – GTA$ 4,787,500
Imagine this, you have a tank with VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) ability that can fly and hover over Los Santos and you cause havoc on every passing NPC or enemy player within your view. Yes, the Avenger is just that. Derived from the V-22 Osprey, the Avenger presents you with the perfect opportunity to annihilate ground targets with high power weaponry.
The Avenger is a flying Mobile Operations Centre which can be fitted with 3 turrets operated by other players inside the cargo hold. It can be fitted with a bombing bay and can also be equipped with a Vehicle and Weapon Workshop; in case you want to tweak your other vehicles and handheld weaponry with upgrades on the fly.
Standard countermeasures of Chaff, Flare, and Smoke can also be installed, but only the co-pilot can use them.
With everything taken into consideration, the Avenger is a solid weaponized vehicle to consider because of its:
- Easy maneuvering and flying controls.
- Behemoth of an armor. The Avenger can take hits from 9 RPGs and 20 Homing Launcher missiles.
- Capacity to carry an entire battalion on board, and space for a wardrobe and gun locker too.
- Autopilot feature that lets you go back in the cargo hold without having to be the pilot anymore.

3. Oppressor Mk II
The Oppressor Mk II
Standard Price: GTA$ 3,890,250
Trade Price: GTA$ 2,925,000 (By completing 5 Terrorbyte client jobs)
Love it or hate it, the Oppressor Mk II single handedly twisted the dynamics of going about your day in GTA Online, in a good way for some, and in a bad way for many. An iteration of the hover bike from the movie Looper, the Oppressor Mk II is the most popular choice among griefers and tryhards. Nonetheless, if used with a pinch of sense and wisdom, it’s actually a great weaponized vehicle to own.
One point to keep in mind is that you need to first own a nightclub and then a Terrorbyte before you can get your hands on the Oppressor Mk-II.
The Oppressor Mk II comes with Machine Guns by default which can be swapped for either an Explosive Machine Gun or Homing Missiles. The Homing Missiles are definitely the preferred choice of weaponry to have, but keep in mind that their accuracy got nerfed after the 1.61 update. Hence, making it easier to dodge griefers using them as well.
Standard countermeasures of Flare, Chaff, and Smoke can also be installed.
Aside from the flying and hovering abilities of the Oppressor Mk II, some strong reasons that justify its purchase are:
- Fast and quick form of transportation. It is extremely convenient to use the Oppressor Mk II for completing setup missions for heists and grinding for money, as it also carries a rocket booster.
- Taking out enemies, especially NPCs, without much effort.
- Easy to take-off, maneuver, and land. It can be landed anywhere across the map without you having to clench your toes.

2. Insurgent Pick-Up Custom
The Insurgent Pick-Up Custom
Standard Price: GTA$ 1,795,000
Trade Price: GTA$ 1,350,000 (By completing the Humane Labs Finale)
Custom Conversion Price: GTA$ 202,500 (via MOC or Avenger Workshop)
Without a doubt, the most complete weaponized vehicle to consider would be the Insurgent Pick-Up Custom. Why is that so you may ask? Well, inspired by the Terradyne Gurkha, the Insurgent Pick-Up Custom is all that you’re going to need when establishing dominance, with your squad on board, and destroying anything that comes in your way in an unforgiving fashion.
The insurgent Pick-Up Custom comes with a standard Machine Gun that can be swapped for a powerful, and much better, Minigun. Additionally, the vehicle has the option to be equipped with proximity mines as well. However, the windows are not bulletproof.
Like the APC, the Insurgent Pick-Up Custom can also tow an Anti-Aircraft Trailer, making it the complete package for pulverizing your enemies bothering you from both the ground and the sky.
Still not convinced? Well, here are some more reasons why you should be:
- The Insurgent Pick-Up Custom is reasonably fast and agile, and you should have no worries taking it off-road as well.
- The Insurgent Pick-Up Custom has the capacity to carry around 10 of your mates in total, including the one operating the Anti-Aircraft Trailer in the back.
- It has an outrageously strong armor. It can take 9 RPGs and a whopping 27 Homing Launcher missiles (14 without the driver inside). You heard that right, it’s going to take a while for your adversary to take you down.

1. Toreador
The Toreador
Price: GTA$ 3,660,000
If your concerns revolve around getting a weaponized vehicle that’s lethal, fast, sufficiently tolerable to attacks, and can dive in the shores of Los Santos like a seasoned surfer, then the Toreador has all your answers. Resembling the Lamborghini Marzal concept car, the Toreador is definitely a must have vehicle because of its outstanding controls and abilities.
The Toreador has an impressive Machine Gun, exceptional Homing Missiles, and hear this, Torpedoes that can even take down targets that are above and close to the water surface. Plus, the Toreador has a rocket boost that can be used underwater as well. Still, the Toreador’s windows don’t offer any resistance.
All in all, what makes the Toreador stand out from other vehicles is:
- Its remarkably fast and agile maneuverability.
- Ability to be used as a submarine with an included sonar.
- A rocket boost with a recharge time of just a second. This ability alone allows the Toreador to escape hostiles without having to struggle.
- A fairly decent armor for a small car. The Toreador can handle 1 hit from an RPG and up to 5 hits from a Homing Launcher.
