[Top 10] Kingdom Hearts 3 Best Gummi Ships

Kingdom Hearts 3 Best Gummi Ships
What?! There are more gummi ships?!

What are the best gummi ships for you to use?

In Kingdom Hearts 3, there are a lot of different gummi blueprints for you find, on top of building your own. It can be confusing to decide on one!

Read on for some information on the top 10 gummi ships!

10. Sweet Wheels

This Gummi Ship isn’t available until later in the game, unfortunately. You have to make your way to The Eclipse region in order to get it, but the blueprints aren’t too difficult to acquire once you get there and the cost is moderate. However, it grants the player boosts across the board, which is pretty rare.

What’s Awesome About Sweet Wheels?

Like I said, Sweet Wheels offers boosts in all available stats, which isn’t a feature available in the vast majority of Gummi Ships. While not all of the boosts are large (the speed stat is only increased by two points), it’s awesome to not experience the disappointment of having stats decreased.

This ship has a huge boost in HP, for a total of 2,660 points. That’s a lot of HP, which is really nice for players that aren’t very skilled with the Gummi battles or who want to take on the more difficult battles.

It also boasts one of the highest stats for the roll feature at 250. This means that you can roll further when dodging. That’s going to make a big difference since you won’t have a huge increase in speed.

How do you get it?

Glad you asked. You can get the blueprints for the Sweet Wheels by completing Speed Skirmish 11 with a rank of A. In a Speed Skirmish, you have to defeat a set number of Heartless ships.

Here’s a walkthrough to help you out:

9. Dino Soarer

This is a Gummi ship that you can unlock in the second region of the game, so you’ll have to wait a little bit to get it, but it will be worth it! It’s relatively cheap to build, and you’ll experience some pretty great stat boosts.

What’s Awesome About Dino Soarer?

HP and offensive stats are more balanced with this ship than with Sweet Wheels. HP is still pretty high at 2,141 points, but offense points are increased to 126. This means that the ship is a bit more suited for battle.

It also offers a moderate boost in the roll ability, which means it’s a pretty good ship for dodging, as well.

How do you get it?

This is another ship that isn’t particularly difficult to get, especially if you’re really good at navigating and fighting with the Gummi ship. All you have to do is complete the Countdown 6 sidequest with a rank of A.

Here’s a video to give you an idea of what to expect:

8. Palanquin

This Gummi ship is one of those that has a negative status effect, with power stats being decreased by 17 points. However, the positive effects on most of the other stats have earned it a place on this list.

What’s Awesome About Palanquin?

Like I said, there are many positive effects on the Gummi’s stats that make this a really good ship.

The most notable is the amount of HP you get with this ship. Your HP will be at 2,384 points, which is really awesome for players who take a lot of damage during travel, and it will be even more awesome for players who like to do the sidequests. Offense is boosted by 72 points and mobility by 5.

More important than those, though, are the roll and speed stats. Generally, if you have enough speed, you can use roll to dodge less often.

With Palanquin, you have the option of both. Roll is increased by 250 points, the maximum, and speed is increased by 104 points. Although this isn’t the highest speed boost available, it’s still really high.

How do you get it?

This is another Gummi ship that’s pretty easy to get. All you have to do is complete Speed Skirmish 10 with an A-rank. This skirmish is available a bit earlier in the game in the Misty Stream region.

Here’s a video to help you complete it:

7. Pavilion

This is one of those ships where you, unfortunately, experience a decrease in stats. Speed is decreased by 52 points. Fortunately, boosts in other stats make up for this, and that’s why the Pavilion is on this list.

What’s Awesome About Pavilion?

As stated above, Pavilion has some really great stat boosts that make it an awesome ship to use. Plus, it’s pretty cheap to make.

The best aspect of this ship is that it boosts HP by 3,015 points, while also giving you boosts of 180 in offense and 78 in power. These increases mean that this is a pretty powerful ship.

Another pro is that it increases your roll ability by 112 points, so it will be a good ship to dodge with. Since your speed is going to be decreased, being able to dodge is an absolute must.

Finally, it gives you an increase in mobility of 31 points. This probably seems like a modest boost, but its mere presence is a positive because not many ships will boost your mobility.

How do you get it?

Like many of the other ships, you can get the blueprints for the Pavilion as a reward for a sidequest. For this one, you have to complete Speed Skirmish 9 with a rank of A.

6. Ultros

Ultros with Stats

Unfortunately, this is yet another ship where you’ll have to suffer some negative stat effects. However, only one stat is decreased (speed, and only by 10 points). The positive effects and the ease of acquiring these blueprints have earned the Ultros its place on this list.

What’s Awesome About Ultros?

HP is increased by 3,087 points. That is the highest increase in HP offered by any Gummi ship upgrade and the reason that this ship ranks so high on this list. Offensive power experiences a boost of 420 points, which is pretty high compared to most other ships.

The Ultros makes up for the decrease in speed by increasing the roll ability by 168 points. That’s a significant boost, and it allows you to roll further to dodge enemies. If you’re going to be slower, you have to be able to dodge better, and this ship makes sure that you can do that.

How do you get it?

This is the easiest ship to get so far on this list. All you have to do is take a picture of the Ultros Constellation. This constellation is located in The Eclipse region, so you won’t be able to get it until later in the game, but it’s definitely worth it!

Here’s a video if you’re having trouble finding the constellations:

5. Endymion

Endymion

Fortunately, this ship doesn’t experience any decreases in stats, but it doesn’t have any effect on the mobility stat. It also has some pretty good boosts in the other stats and is cheap!

What’s Awesome About Endymion?

Like I said, this ship has some pretty good stat boosts. HP is increased by 1,214 points, which is a rather large boost. It also increases offensive power by 589 points.

One of the best things about this ship is that it increases your speed by 200 points. Not many of the ships increase speed so significantly. Plus, it boosts the roll ability by 80 points. So not only can you go super fast to outrun enemies, but if you do get into a tight spot where you have to dodge, you can roll even further!

How do you get it?

This one is just as easy to get as the last ship. All you have to do is find the Endymion Constellation in Misty Stream and photograph it. Since this one is in Misty Stream, that means you can get it even sooner than the Ultros, too!

We’ll use the same video to help us find this constellation:

4. Kooma Panda

Kooma Panda with Stats

The Kooma Panda is a bit more balanced in terms of HP and offensive power. Unfortunately, the price for that balance is that the mobility and speed stats are unaffected. (Although, honestly, it’s better that they remain unaffected than that they are  decreased.)

What’s Awesome About Kooma Panda?

How are the HP and offense stats more balanced? I’m glad you asked.

HP is increased by 1,830 points, while offense is increased by 660 points. There is still quite a gap there, but it’s being steadily narrowed. Plus, your roll ability will be boosted by 24 points. It’s only a slight increase, but since speed is unaffected, it’s best that your defensive ability has some kind of help.

How do you get it?

Back to the skirmishes. This ship is relatively easy to get, but not quite as easy as the constellation-finding. For this one, you have to complete Speed Skirmish 4 with a rank of A.

3. Stationary Squadron

Again, we’re narrowing the gap between HP and offense boosts to achieve more balance. Unfortunately, in exchange for that balance, we’re going to take some hits to the power of our Gummi ship. But then we make up for that hit with the cheapness of the ship and the boosts in the other stats.

Let’s take a closer look at them.

What’s Awesome About Stationary Squadron?

Again, HP and offense are better balanced with this ship. HP is boosted by 1,037 points and offense by 1,020.

Speed experiences a super high boost of 230 points (the highest is 250, so this is really good). The roll ability is also increased by 78 points, so you can fly really fast to escape, or you can use the roll ability to dodge. Either way, you’ve got options now, and that’s the best.

How do you get it?

You have to do another countdown challenge in order to acquire this blueprint, and you have to achieve the A-rank for it.

Here’s a video on Countdown 11 to help you out:

Kingdom Hearts 3 Mission The Eclipse: Countdown 11

2. Omega

Omega with Stats

The Omega Gummi ship is one of the best ships in the game because it has high HP, high roll, and is really easy to get. Fortunately, you don’t experience any stat losses with this ship, either.

What’s Awesome About Omega?

This ship is a little less balanced with its stats than the Stationary Squadron, but the high level of HP is the biggest reason why the Omega ranks higher. HP is increased by 1,778 points, and it also has a higher roll stat with 250 points. Offense is a little bit lower at 840 points, but that’s still a really high number!

Plus, it’s also one of the easier ships to get the blueprints for. That’s another reason it ranks so high: The stats are great for the ease with which it is acquired.

So, how do you get it?

This is another ship that you can easily get the blueprints for. All you have to do is find and photograph the Omega constellation.

The constellation is visible in The Eclipse region, but here’s a video to help you find it if you’re having trouble:

Kingdom Hearts 3 All Constellation Locations (Stargazer Trophy / Achievement Guide)

1. Golden Highwind

Golden Highwind with Stats

This is the best ship in the game. While there are ships with higher HP, the balance between HP and offensive power is unmatched. The offense is a little bit higher with this ship, though, and this is the only ship where this happens.

This is great if you’re trying to gather all the Orichalcum+ for the Ultima Weapon because you’ll have to eventually fight the Omega Space Ship.

The only stat that is untouched by this ship is the mobility stat, but that’s not much of a surprise, because not many blueprints do affect this particular ability.

What’s Awesome About Golden Highwind?

As stated before, the balance between HP and offense is amazing with this ship. HP is boosted by 1,663 points. While this isn’t the highest HP ship in the game, offense is really close to it with 1,882 points, and the balance makes up for the hit to the HP. For certain clashes, you’ll really want the offense to be a little bit higher, but still have a high level of HP.

In addition, it offers the highest boost in speed possible at 250 points, which is only granted by a small number of ships. On top of increasing your speed, it also gives you a boost of 87 points for the roll ability. Having the ability to move quickly and dodge further will be incredibly helpful for certain battles.

And how do you get it?

This is the most difficult ship on this list to get. That only makes sense, considering that it’s the best one. For this one, you’ll actually have to defeat a boss in Clash with the Schwartzgeist.

Here’s a video if you’re struggling with that battle:
