Most of the huge changes that came with the Year 9 update are changes to weapons and attachments. And Doc, having a wide array of choices for his primary and secondary weapon is one of the operators that are greatly affected by the recent changes in the game. How those changes affect the best loadout setups for him are what we’re going to discuss in this article.
Doc is one of the original operators and he was created more as a support one. However, throughout the years, Doc has become one of the most feared defenders because it’s been shown that not only can he be incredibly tough to take out. He can also dish out a lot of punishment to his enemies.
5. P90 with Magnified B and Extended Barrel + LFP589 with Laser + Bulletproof Camera
The P90 used to rank higher as Doc’s primary weapon, but nowadays, its only real advantage over the alternative fully automatic weapon, the MP5, is its huge magazine capacity. That is why this setup is put at the last place in this list. However, that doesn’t mean that the P90 submachine gun isn’t a viable weapon anymore for Doc. It is definitely still a deadly weapon, especially when equipped with an extended barrel which will increase its base damage as well as reduce its range damage drop-off.
The extended barrel will increase its damage from 22 to 24. Now, 2 may be a very small number on paper. However, the P90 as I said, is a fully automatic weapon and fire rate, at 970 RPM is very high for a primary weapon that can be controlled easily. That means, that increase in 2 in base damage will mean so much more when you continuously hit enemies with it. This loadout setup is for Doc players who prefer having the advantage of the higher magazine capacity, and low recoil despite the high rate of fire of the P90 submachine gun.
Excels in:
- Inflicting more damage from the P90 by equipping it with an extended barrel which will increase its base damage from 22 to 24 which means a lot considering that the P90 has a very fast rate of fire
- Doc having a primary weapon in the P90 that has a very fast rate of fire of 970 RPM which means it can take out opponents fast especially at close to medium range.
- The magnified B scope providing Doc with a 2.5x zoom will greatly increase his accuracy as he’ll be able to see his targets very well with it, and it’ll also have an arrowtip reticle which is great for pinpoint shooting
- The LFP589 handgun will provide Doc with a secondary weapon that has very high stopping power as well as a high destruction rate per shot. It’ll also have a laser which will provide Doc with a 10% aim-down-sight speed boost on the weapon.
- Providing the whole defending team with an extra set of eyes for surveillance and intel gathering with the bulletproof camera as Doc’s secondary gadget
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - P90 with Magnified B and Extended Barrel
- Secondary weapon - LFP589 with Laser
- Generic gadget - Bulletproof Camera

4. MP5 with Magnified B, Extended Barrel, and Angled Grip + P9 with Suppressor and Laser + Barbed Wire
Generally, the MP5 submachine gun is the preferred choice by players when playing Doc. That’s mostly because it has higher damage than the P90. But if the player’s goal is to inflict the most damage possible from the MP5, this is the loadout setup that they should go for. That’s because the extended barrel will increase the MP5’s damage from 27 to 30, and as explained in the P90 entry above, even small numbers like 2 or 3 when it comes to an increase in damage on a fully automatic weapon like the P90 and the MP5 is a lot.
Since the extended barrel will also decrease the range damage drop-off of the MP5, it’ll also mean that Doc will be dishing out high damage even from long range. Which is perfect for the magnified B scope which will allow Doc to see his targets very well regardless of range due to its 2.5x zoom. The angled grip on the other hand will complement the offensive benefits from the extended barrel because it will provide Doc with a 20% reload speed boost which means that with this loadout setup, Doc will always be able to go back into the action quickly when his MP5 needs to be reloaded in the middle of combat.
Excels in:
- The extended barrel on Doc’s MP5 submachine gun will increase its damage from 27 to 30 as well as decrease its range damage drop-off, allowing him to inflict high damage regardless of the distance
- The angled grip attachment will provide Doc with a 20% reload speed boost on his MP5 submachine gun which is a great perk to have especially when dealing with multiple enemies at the same time
- The magnified B scope on Doc’s MP5 submachine gun will provide him with a 2.5x zoom which will allow him to clearly see his targets even from long distance, and that usually translates to great accuracy.
- The P9 with a suppressor on its barrel will allow Doc to silently shoot enemy gadgets without compromising his current location, while the laser attached to it will provide a 10% ADS speed boost
- The two barbed wires as Doc’s generic gadget are great for watching the flanks as they can slow enemies down and make a lot of noise when they’re being destroyed or when enemies are walking over them.

- Primary weapon - MP5 with Magnified B, Extended Barrel, and Angled Grip
- Secondary weapon - P9 with Suppressor and Laser
- Generic gadget - Barbed Wire

3. SG-CQB with Reflex B and Horizontal Grip + P9 with Suppressor and Laser + Barbed Wire
When it comes to close quarters combat, this loadout setup is unbeatable. That’s because the SG-CQB shotgun, while limited in range, packs a lot of punch with each pellet that it releases per shot. When all pellets from one shot of the SG-CQB hit an opponent’s body, they’d get taken out no questions asked. That’s why it would be great for the player to go into aim-down-sight stance first before shooting, as that will not only increase the optimal range of the weapon, but also tighten its pellet spread.
And speaking of going into aim-down-sights stance, the reflex B will provide Doc with a clear view of the surroundings and front of when he’s aiming due to its small frame. The great thing about the SG-CQB is that it can also be equipped with a grip, and in Doc’s case, the horizontal grip will be the best. That’s because it will provide him with a 5% movement speed boost which will help him in getting close to enemies as well as responding to teammates that need his support.
Excels in:
- Doc having the close quarters combat superiority due to the SG-CQB shotgun which is just a beast at close range as it packs a heavy punch per pellet while also having a very manageable recoil
- The reflex B on Doc’s SG-CQB shotgun will provide him with a clear view of his targets and surroundings because its small frame doesn’t consume a lot of screen space and that’s perfect for shotguns
- The horizontal grip will provide Doc with a 5% increase in movement speed which is really helpful in Doc’s role as a healer, as well as a great help for him in getting close to enemies for his shotgun to be effective.
- The P9 handgun with a suppressor will be a great utility for Doc when it comes to shooting attacker devices without giving away her position. The laser equipped to it will also provide Doc with a 10% ADS speed boost.
- The two barbed wires in Doc’s arsenal will be great for slowing down enemies on flanks as they can make a lot of noise when they’re being destroyed, and when enemies choose to walk over them, they’ll be greatly slowed.

- Primary weapon - SG-CQB with Reflex B and Horizontal Grip
- Secondary weapon - P9 with Suppressor and Laser
- Generic gadget - Barbed Wire
2. MP5 with Magnified B, Flash Hider, and Horizontal Grip + Bailiff 410 with Laser + Bulletproof Camera
As mentioned in the SG-CQB entry above, the horizontal grip provides the user with a 5% movement speed boost, and that’s not just very helpful with the SG-CQB shotgun. It’ll also be great for the MP5 submachine gun as well. That’s because with the horizontal grip, Doc, with the slowest movement speed rating for an operator, will be a bit faster. That really helps when it comes to responding to teammates that need a heal or a revive, or for responding to enemies, whether that be for fragging them or for escaping from them.
With a 5% speed boost, even a 1-speed operator like Doc will be harder to hit when he’s moving. The flash hider on the other hand will provide a much-needed vertical recoil control on the MP5 submachine gun, especially because the horizontal grip doesn’t provide any recoil control. The MP5’s recoil is not very easy to handle so it’s always a good idea to have at least one recoil-providing attachment on it. As for his secondary weapon, the Bailiff 410 revolver shotgun will be a great utility for Doc when it comes to reworking the map to his advantage due to its high destruction rate per shot.
Excels in:
- Having a great overall vertical recoil control on Doc’s MP5 submachine gun due to the flash hider barrel attachment which will also remove the weapon’s muzzle flash, making it a bit harder for enemies to notice where Doc is shooting from
- The horizontal grip on Doc’s MP5 submachine gun will provide him with a 5% movement speed boost while holding the weapon and that’s great for responding to teammates that need support, as well as enemies.
- With the 2.5x zoom from the magnified B scope, Doc will be able to hit enemies with great accuracy regardless of the range, especially because it has a great arrowtip reticle that is perfect for headshots
- The bailiff 410 revolver shotgun will be a great utility for Doc when it comes to reworking the map as with its high destruction rate per shot, he’ll be able to create lines of sight or rotation holes on unreinforced walls
- The bulletproof camera as Doc’s secondary gadget will provide the whole defending team an extra pair of eyes for intel gathering. It can also shoot EMP bursts that can disable enemy electronic gadgets

- Primary weapon - MP5 with Magnified B, Flash Hider, and Horizontal Grip
- Secondary weapon - Bailiff 410 with Laser
- Generic gadget - Bulletproof Camera

1. MP5 with Magnified B, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + Bailiff 410 with Laser + Barbed Wire
Because of his ability to revive himself from a down-but-not-out state, Doc is one of the best spawn peekers around. Obviously, that’s because if he gets countered and gets put in a dbno state, he can just simply revive himself no problem. Him being one of the best spawn peekers around and is also the reason why this loadout setup is best for him. That’s because the suppressed MP5 is going to be the best weapon for him when spawn peeking, mainly of course due to the stealth benefits from said barrel attachment.
The suppressor will hide the muzzle flash and the directional threat indicator from the MP5’s shots. It’ll also greatly silence the weapon’s gunshot sounds, and at a distance of 30 meters beyond, they’ll be inaudible. That means unless the attackers see him, they wouldn’t know where Doc is shooting them from. That will prevent them from immediately being able to accurately counterattack, as well as protect themselves because they don’t know the direction where the bullets are coming from.
Excels in:
- The suppressor silencing the MP5’s gunshots as well as removing its muzzle flash and directional threat indicator is perfect for Doc’s role as a spawn peeker as it’ll prevent enemies from immediately knowing where he’s shooting from
- The vertical grip will greatly lower the MP5’s overall vertical recoil control and that’s important as for this setup, it will be the MP5’s attachment that’ll provide the recoil control
- Doc being able to see his enemies really well regardless of distance with the magnified B scope providing a 2.5x zoom and an arrow tip reticle which is great for pinpoint shooting
- Doc having a great utility in the bailiff 410 revolver shotgun for reworking the map due to its high destruction rate per shot. The laser attached to it will also provide Doc with a 10% aim-down-sight speed boost on the weapon
- The two barbed wires as Doc’s secondary gadget will be great for slowing down enemies on tight angles as well as preventing the defending team from being caught off guard as they make a lot of noise when they get in contact with enemies

- Primary weapon - MP5 with Magnified B, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - Bailiff 410 with Laser
