Valkyrie’s loadout setup really deserves a closer look, especially after the huge changes to the game that came with Operation Deadly Omen. That’s because she plays such a viral role in her team which is mainly intel gathering. Though she’s so much more than just an intel gathering operator, and I personally believe that the recent changes to the game benefits her a lot.
With her phenomenal intel gathering capabilities, she can effectively harass the attacking team when she’s roaming and performing a hit and run play. Of course, when she does that, she’ll need the best loadout setup that’ll allow her to perform to the best of her abilities, and what we’re going to discuss in this article are the best loadouts that players should consider when they’re playing her.
5. MPX with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, Angled Grip, and Laser + D-50 with Suppressor and Laser + Impact Grenade
This loadout setup is for Valkyrie players who like to play her aggressively. While Valkyrie is mostly an intel gatherer operator, with the right player and the right loadout, she can definitely be played very offensively. Right here we have the angled grip on the MPX submachine gun which will allow her to reload the weapon 20% faster than normal which will be a big plus in high traffic situations. To those who aren’t familiar with Siege lingo, high traffic situations mean having to deal with multiple enemies.
The laser on the MPX’s underbarrel will also allow Valkyrie to go into aim-down-sights stance 10% faster than normal which is great for an aggressive play. Valkyrie’s MPX can’t be equipped with a high-powered scope, but the good thing about the 1.0x is that they now add 5% aim-down-sight speed boost. So with the red dot A and the laser, Valkyrie will be able to go into ADS stance 15% faster than normal. Now the default iron sights add 10% ADS speed but I don’t recommend that for the MPX because its frame takes up too much screen space.
Excels in:
- The flash hider on Valkyrie’s MPX submachine gun will provide the much needed vertical recoil control on the weapon because it can be quite challenging to hold due to its fast rate of fire
- The angled grip on Valkyrie’s MPX submachine gun will allow her to reload the weapon 20% faster than normal which is a great perk to have when performing highly aggressive plays
- Valkyrie’s MPX submachine gun having a laser will allow her to go into aim-down-sights 10% faster than normal and the red dot A 1.0x sight will add another 5% of that
- The D-50 handgun with a suppressor as Valkyrie’s secondary gadget will allow her to shoot attacker drones, claymores, and other gadgets silently which is important when she’s roaming.
- The two impact grenades in Valkyrie’s arsenal will be great for aggressive plays because it’ll allow her to quickly create rotation or escape holes on unreinforced walls or hatches
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MPX with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, Angled Grip, and Laser
- Secondary weapon - D-50 with Suppressor and Laser
- Generic gadget - Impact Grenade

4. SPAS-12 with Iron Sight and Laser + D-50 with Suppressor and Laser + Nitro Cell
This loadout setup for Valkyrie is for shotgun specialists. It may have a much-limited range, but those who main shotguns can certainly make it effective, especially when used in conjunction with Valkyrie’s intel gathering capabilities. With Valkyrie’s three Black Eye cameras, there’s always a high chance that she’ll know the position of enemies, and if they’re near enough for her SPAS-12 shotgun to be effective. So with this loadout setup, she’ll be able to defend the objective spot really well.
She will also be able to go into aim-down-sights stance with the SPAS-12 shotgun much faster than normal because both the iron sight and laser will add 10% ADS speed on the weapon for a total of 20%. That’s really great to have, especially now that the devs have made aiming-down-sight on non-slug shotguns like the SPAS-12 much more rewarding. As for opponents that are beyond the reach of the SPAS-12 shotgun, the D-50 handgun is also an excellent weapon for fragging enemies regardless of range.
Excels in:
- The SPAS-12 shotgun as Valkyrie’s primary weapon will give her the close quarters combat superiority. It inflicts high stopping power per pellet and its recoil is very easy to manage.
- The iron sight and the laser being both present on Valkyrie’s SPAS-12 shotgun will provide her with 20% aim-down-sights speed boost which is a great perk to have especially for sudden enemy engagements
- The high destruction rate from the SPAS-12 shotgun will also allow Valkyrie to set up the objective spot with rotation holes and lines of sight which the defending team can use to their advantage when dealing with pushing enemies
- The D-50 handgun is an excellent weapon for fragging opponents beyond the reach of the SPAS-12 shotgun and the suppressor on its barrel will also hide its directional threat indicator as well as muffle its gunshot sounds
- The nitro cell when used in conjunction with Valkyrie’s Black Eye cameras is highly deadly because she can place it on a particular spot and use the Black Eye cameras to know if enemies are in the said spot
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - SPAS-12 with Iron Sight and Laser
- Secondary weapon - D-50 with Suppressor and Laser
- Generic gadget - Nitro Cell
3. MPX with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Horizontal Grip + D-50 with Suppressor and Laser + Impact Grenade
The horizontal grip is the newest attachment added to Siege and it came with Operation Deadly Omen. It’s highly talked about in the Siege community with most believing that it’s basically useless considering that it only adds 5% speed boost. I disagree with most of those assessments, however, because a 5% movement speed boost in Siege is a lot. Think about it, compared to most multiplayer shooters out there, Siege is still one of the most grounded in reality, and it can be seen with the relatively slow movements of its operators.
But even with that slow movement, for most players, it's still pretty hard to accurately shoot a moving enemy. Now imagine that enemy moving 5% faster. That’s why for me, the horizontal grip is a major addition to the game. And for Valkyrie, it will make her even harder to hit than she already is with her 2-speed rating. The speed boost will also be really good for her when responding to enemies that she’s caught sight with using her Black Eye cameras.
Excels in:
- The flash hider on Valkyrie’s MPX submachine gun will be the attachment that will provide the recoil control on the weapon and help Valkyrie stabilize it especially for long sprays
- The horizontal grip on Valkyrie’s MPX submachine gun will allow her to move 5% faster than normal which will make her even harder to hit and go from one place to another quicker
- The red dot A on the MPX submachine gun will allow Valkyrie to go into aim-down-sights 5% faster than normal and that’s a new buff that only came with Year 9 Season 1
- The D-50 handgun with a suppressor will provide Valkyrie with the means to silently shoot utilities that attackers left behind like drones or claymores which is very important when she’s roaming
- The two impact grenades will allow Valkyrie to set up the objective spot with rotation holes or she can also use them for creating rotation or escape holes that’ll allow her to outmaneuver enemies when she’s roaming
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MPX with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Horizontal Grip
- Secondary weapon - D-50 with Suppressor and Laser
- Generic gadget - Impact Grenade

2. MPX with Red Dot A, Extended Barrel, and Horizontal Grip + D-50 with Suppressor and Laser + Nitro Cell
The great thing about the MPX submachine gun is that its stock recoil isn’t really that hard to control. It can be challenging, yes, but especially with short bursts, most experienced players will be able to handle its weapon kick even without recoil control providing attachments. That’s why for this loadout setup, I’m recommending not using them at all and instead opt for attachments that provide other benefits besides adding recoil control. For this loadout setup, that would be the extended barrel and the horizontal grip.
The extended barrel will add more firepower to Valkyrie’s MPX submachine gun. It does so by actually increasing its damage per shot and lowering its range damage drop-off. So with this loadout setup, Valkyrie will be dealing good damage with her MPX regardless of the distance. The horizontal grip as we have discussed in the above entry will allow her to move a bit faster, and that’s why this loadout setup excels in a more balanced aggressive play than the one at number five.
Excels in:
- Attaching the extended barrel on Valkyrie’s MPX submachine gun will increase its damage per shot as well as lower its range damage drop off, making it an effective weapon regardless of range
- The horizontal grip on Valkyrie’s MPX submachine gun will allow her to move 5% faster which is great for a roamer like her and will allow her to move from one place to the next quicker
- The red dot A 1.0x sight will add a 5% aim-down-sight speed boost on Valkyrie’s MPX submachine gun which is a good balance since it’s not compatible with high-powered scopes
- The suppressed D-50 handgun will allow Valkyrie to shoot enemy gadgets like claymores or drones silently which is important when she’s roaming and trying to not alert enemies to her presence
- The nitro cell used in conjunction with her Black Eye cameras will allow her to perform tricks like the c4-under-the-floor that will allow her to take out multiple enemies in one go
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MPX with Red Dot A, Extended Barrel, and Horizontal Grip
- Secondary weapon - D-50 with Suppressor and Laser
- Generic gadget - Nitro Cell
Recoil pattern test on the MPX in this setup with the author’s own recoil control applied:
1. MPX with Red Dot A, Suppressor, and Horizontal Grip + D-50 with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Nitro Cell
This loadout setup is the best for Valkyrie because it works best with her role as well as her Black Eye camera special gadget. With her Black Eyes, there’s always a high chance for her to know where enemies are. That means, she has a lot of opportunities to wall bang them or shoot them from unexpected angles. And when it comes to that, having a suppressor on her MPX submachine gun will be the best for her. That’s because with the suppressor, the enemies won’t immediately realize where she’s shooting them from.
The suppressor will remove the muzzle flash as well as the directional threat indicator from the MPX’s shots. It will also greatly muffle the gunshot sounds of the weapon. So with this loadout setup, Valkyrie’s enemies will have trouble finding her visually and through audio cues, especially when she’s hitting them from medium to long range. And when she’s wall banging them using the intel she’s got from her Black Eye cameras, it’ll be almost impossible for them to perform an accurate counter fire.
Excels in:
- The suppressor on the MPX will allow Valkyrie to shoot enemies through walls or unexpected angles and it’ll be much harder for them to know where she’s shooting from
- The horizontal grip attachment on the MPX submachine gun will allow Valkyrie to move a bit quicker which will make her harder to hit as well as allow her to move from area to area faster
- The red dot A 1.0x sight on Valkyrie’s submachine gun will allow her to go into aim-down-sight stance 5% faster than normal which will be really good for sudden engagements at close to medium range
- Since Valkyrie already has the means to silently shoot enemy gadgets with the suppressed MPX, she can run her D-50 handgun with a muzzle brake in this setup for a much better recoil control with it
- The nitro cell is just the best generic gadget for Valkyrie because it works so well with her Black Eye cameras and she has a high chance of scoring multiple kills with it when used in conjunction with the intel from his Black Eye cameras.

- Primary weapon - MPX with Red Dot A, Suppressor, and Horizontal Grip
- Secondary weapon - D-50 with Muzzle Brake and Laser
